Darth Revan of the Sith

4/5 Stars This movie was good. And this is one of my mane reasons I feel McG is one of the more promising directors of this century. It had good directing which was one of the mane things McG excels at. The plot was coherent and made some freaking sense, which is rare for spy movies. As per usual Tom Hardy and Chris Pine give good performances but that isn't enough. As a duo, they are excellent. Seriously I have never seen these two together but the chemistry is great! I would love to see them together in another film. The pace is alright but not terrible and the acting on Chelsea Handler's part is good surprisingly. The comedy has it's falls but it does get back up on its own two hooves with good action scenes and some nice dialogue. I would also like to say that Reese Witherspoon was perfect for her role. She gave a good performance despite some doubts on my part. I was enthralled with the scenery and place although I admit there was some "Oh look I can see the green screen!" moments, it was nevertheless good. In conclusion, this film was good. It's effect's were average and it's comedy hit rock bottom, but This Means War redeems itself with good acting by Tom Hardy and Chris Pine, good action scenes, and some great directing. It may not be Oscar Bait but I feel it is worth its weight in gold.
So YCM, good, bad, or indifferent?
