Kingdom Hearts: The 13th Requiem [PG-13/Started/Not Accepting]

Recommended Posts

Oh and I know this has been basically ignored but most elite nobodies are named after classes. Like Paladin and sniper, they are classes in Final Fantasy and so on, I only say this cause naming stuff after the beauty and the beast corps is a bit pushing it in my opinion, but thats just me i guess.

Hey, no disrespect Jane, but I'd seen no rules about the type of classes I was allowed and I'm not really looking for an arguement. But if you want nitpick at my application in private, I got all the time in the world.

You didn't fix the grammatical errors you made before, but I didn't notice any in the new details.

How is it a "cruel turn of events" that he lost his leg? He should have expected to sustain some kind of injury.

I should have mentioned this before, but how can he be dead for two years and then be revived as he succumbs to the darkness? I'm also not fond of him having multiple weapons

Nobodies are reopened, just don;t expect to be important is what I'm guessing. Haxz and Omcraxz sortof have the Xigbar and Axel thing going down but hey don't let me stop you go beyond the expected make a nobody version of Faciller idk go nuts.

I however call the puppet weapon so DO NOT TOUCH PLEASE AND THANK YOU

Why does Nerhyx get no love when we talk about existing nobodies? So under appreciated lol

But if we need a reason to for Merlin to go back in time. I'm currently having Nerhyx look-up existing sorcerers I could just have him encounter Merlin, try to convert him into a heartless, fail, and Merlin goes back in time to try to prevent something from happening.

...that wasn't what I meant, Mugendramon. I mean, I've played Final Fantasy II. I know how ridiculously powerful the guy can be (I mean, COME ON! He died only to take over hell!!!), and me and Trickster have already planned something for our characters.

I just mean what Trickster was referring to - that Mateus was meant to be 'easy', holding back and being the apprentices' first boss. Of course he'll appear later on, much more powerful, but that wasn't right now.

I'm just saying this now. I took a chance with my post, so Jane, don't get upset if this isn't what you and MI planned. It's an RP, so things will not go as planned like you want it to. Plus, we aren't using Blu's Posting Routine Rule, so...yeah. Just a friendly reminder.

EDIT: @Eros: It's nowhere in Hollow Bastion, so go nuts.

Yeah but  Violia's barrier was explicityly sound blocking.

So... how did you hear them anyway

But you know what, whatever roll a will save. You directly intersected with a extremly powerful spell that would insert the dark knowledge and polluted will of Mateus into your mind, Violia woudln't get harmed since Mateus intended to groom her and a puppet ruler is worthless, however you aren't that lucky.

You are facing the full force of a unfathomably evil and intelligent mind in a mental battle. Forget survive youd be lucky to stay in control of your own character. So will save/Roxas's call.

Frybread, people haven't taken too well to the idea of more Nobodies, so that's why. It also doesn't help that with two of the Apprentice players dropping in activity, the ratio between heroes and villains has dropped.

That's it? So you WERE yanking my chain.

Look man, you should've just been honest with me from the very begining. I may have terrible grammer and english skills on par with a 5th grader, I'm honest and up front with everyone that I try my best to make up for it. You on the other hand, was just toying with me and I really don't appreciate it; so next time, just be honest and I can gaureentee that you'll avoid a whole arguement in the future.

P.S. So what the heck does that mean for my character?

It's called reading lips. Duh.

So, what should I do? How should I go about fighting for Ryan's sanity?

Guess my thoughts were wrong. I thought Ryan would just get the knowledge of the particular type of necromancy Viola was looking for. Guess not. That's extremely unfortunate. But at least I'll be able to try a different angle in developing his character, amirite?

Noooot entirely sure having your mind completly dominated counts as character development, unless you want to play Ryamateus.

Ironically this development furthers the either way he wins thing cause there isnt anything stopping the mateus mind bug to just leapfrog.

Frybread, just settle on one weapon and I'll let you in.

 I love you. :)

(took me awhile to look through, but I think I was able to fix all of the grammer errors you were talking about. Of course, I still can't promise that its perfect.)
Name: Xyu Gaso
Gender: Male
Age: Human – 17 / Nobody - 2
Alignment: Nobody
Source Material: Strictly, this was a character from a manga I’m currently putting on hold.

Appearance: Being a meager 5’8”, Yasu Go was actually born of average height on his home world, but when compared to the other people that began walking into his village, he’d realized he was short for his own age. Determined to overcome this inborn difference, Yasu was constantly training to become stronger; as the people who were coming into his village were becoming…’problematic.’ This led to his quite chiseled features and his handsome looks.

Due to his people keeping their hair culturally long, Yasu constantly keeps his hair in a unique pony tail that only goes down to his shoulders.

At an early age, he began to disregard his people’s own customs and began adopting a new cultural identity. Making him keeping up with the latest fashion trends with the modern world; currently he is wearing black sweat pants, with matching black macosains, black under-armor, with a hoodie-vest that can zip up.
the_wind_feels_so_numb_by_apacheburger00
Personality: Unlike Omcraxs’ analytical mind, Lexamus’ calm and deterrent persona, Xelo’s cold personality, or Haxz’s smug-hotshot attitude, Xyu in reality is none of these. Speaking from words of wisdom and experience, Xyu is a hard-working individual whose strength of will can never be broken in search of what remains of his family.

Despite being small in comparison to every other person, if Xyu is to fight larger opponents, he

would say “Give me your best shot.”

While he was 17 years old upon his death, Xyu’s corruptive world of war gave him the confidence of being sure of his actions.

His only weakness, is his strength of will can easily be perverse to betray allies, destroy entire nations, or sacrifice thousands to save one.

In short, he is a hard-worker who’s willing to overcome the torments if it means he can once again find his one true happiness.

Character History

“As kid, I remember being raised in a small desert village that was located on some cliffs overlooking a canyon. It was a peaceful time when my people didn’t have to worry about anything; the harvest was bountiful, successful trading became the average life and most of all, I was happy. However, That all changed when my village attacked during a severe winter storm. I was only 7 years old when I witnessed my mother killed right in front of me. That night, when the village was mourning, only the cries of the children could be heard…and I was the loudest that night.”

Those were the exact words of Yasu Go when he was still a human. From what he could piece together from his memory, he was world was engulfed in constant wars and it was like violence was the only thing he could understand. This made it common for families to still be in their mid-to-late teens and was no exception. With a loving family behind him, he suffers from a metal prosthetic left leg.

As kid growing in a world that was continually ravaged by wars or other forms of violence, Yasu Go was determined to make sure that his small size or the origin of his identity was to be mocked; which is a fancy way of saying that he was bullied a lot. Answering with violence first, Yasu found himself within a pirate gang that became something that no one would have ever expected; a loving family. It was through them that Yasu realized how cruel the world could and established a violent nature on his own. Killing in private or public view became the normal life, until he finally found the man who killed his mother.

“I will avenge you mother!”

Yasu shouted towards the lone night sky.

When he turned 13, he followed the man to a tournament that was a fight to the death. In a cruel turn of events, Yasu barely got out of the alive and had lost his leg in the process.

While recuperating in the hospital, his pirate family came to visit him one day and explained to him that they were kicking him out of the gang; in their personal beliefs, a child should have never have to experience revenge or murders at his age. While in protest at first, Yasu was ultimately encouraged to join the military and make a better life for himself.

Although it was hard at first, Yasu learned valuable lessons and soon found a young woman named Yumi-Hime Kazama.  For the first time in his life, Yasu felt something he could die protecting and eventually married her, which in turn made Yasu begin to take his military career seriously. Becoming an modern day hero, Yasu was more inclined to take more dangerous missions to help pay for future expenses that his new family may encounter – albeit protest from his wife worries as she was now carrying his unborn child.

It was only a matter time before Yasu knew that he could actually die in combat and began preparing future plans to support his wife and coming child. However, before he could actually start planing anything, his encampment came under enemy siege that caught the entire platoon by surprise. With hardly any survivors, one report came from a soldier saying that Yasu charged head first into the enemy alone; when he was asked by the solder for the reason of his suicide charge, Yasu was quoted on saying “I can’t let die yet. After all, I’m a father now.”

While his body accepted death, the heart of the unconditional love of a husband and soon-to-be father forced him to keep death’s grip away.

When his world was invaded by the Heartless in force, the armies of the whole world could not stop this threat as they have been fighting each other for too long and exhausted themselves.

Two years later, Yasu’s world was finally destroyed and became a feast for the Heartless; Despite being dead for two years, Yasu’s body was no exception to the darkness and his previous life of murdering and revenge was still deep enough to taint his heart, that it followed him into death - allowing the Heartless to effectively rob him of his heart.

Awaking from what felt like a deep sleep, Yasu was only confused; His body was dead two years had already accepted a warrior’s death, while the heart of a loving husband and father took what was left of its strength and told the body to come back and protect its family.

Equipment & Abilities: Having to spend time in actual military combat, Xyu Gaso makes up for his lack of strength, speed, and tactics with a sound mind and body. It doesn’t matter who the enemy is, as long he can keep the enemy within the range of his arms and legs, he plans well in advance to make the winds of change are in his favor.

-Flying Dragons: In his close range arsenal, he packs a beautifully set of twin knives that can cut swaths of wind currents toward his target, mincing them to pieces. With an already injured leg, Xyu's prosthetic limb serves nothing more than a hinderence waiting to be exploited. His only hope in defeating a foe is to keep them in a hellish close-quarter nightmare - a distance so close, that anything beyond an arms reach of a weapon, is completely useless.

-After years of intense training on his own home-world, Xyu is able to dematerialize his entire body into the wind and quickly close the distance to the distance to his opponent (as seen in his appearance).

Back on his homeworld, he was always fascinated with birds and their ability to fly. With hopes that he may one day join them in the air, it is no doubt that Xyu takes command of the RAGING RAVENS Nobodies; a group of Nobodies that resembles ravens and help transport the other Nobody members should a Corridor of Darkness not be available. It should be noted that Xyu takes full advantages of this fact and rides them into battle as his personal steeds.
Name: Xetatyl
Gender: Female
Age: Ten minutes
Alignment: Nobody
oMTH7wT.jpg

Xetatyl stands at 5’3” and weighs 120 lbs with B cup size. She also wears and Organization jacket. When using her powers her right iris becomes a deep violet with her pupils having a Yin-Yang symbol.
Personality: Xetatyl can be described in one word; b*****. This woman even when she had a heart had no regard for human life and will get rid of anybody who stands in the way of her goals.  Unless Xetatyl can find some usefulness in your survival you may as well be dead to her, and you very well be dead in the matter of minutes she finds that you have out lived your usefulness. She is cynical, and is not easy to trust people being quite rude to those she is not familiar with, and those she is familiar with as well. Xetatyl has a biting wit, which she uses with intention of making people angry amused by what she calls the “irrational emotions” of others. Xetatyl refers to people who are easy to set off as her dancing monkeys, because she knows she can bend them to her will as well as others, with a slight change in tactics.

The Heartless attack, and transformation into a nobody have also had a change on Xetatyl’s personality, and although she remains callous and emotionally distant for the most part, sometimes the rare side of kindness happens to show itself. Although Xetatyl keeps these showings of kindness mostly under wraps as she views them as a sign of weakness.

Character History: As a human Xetatyl was a corporate business woman, she began working at the company soon after her graduation from college and quickly rose through the corporate ladder. At the time of the heartless attack on her building she had been the President of her branch of the company, and she had ruled with an iron fist. She dedicated most of her time to work, and most night just slept in her office, and had a diet that consisted the donuts and coffee the interns brought in the morning. Her poor style of living led to a short fuse, and a mild case of mental instability, and it was finally her having a heart attack from the poor diet that caused her to take less of a workaholic attitude towards life.

One would think this close brush with death would give her a more of a regard for human life, but this was not the case. Xetatyl’s family still barely saw her, and was only home when she had to be. This eventually drove a fissure between Xetatyl and her family, and her husband becoming tired of the calls he would get from his daughter about how mom didn’t come home from work again today sparked a divorce. The cold blooded woman she was she signed the divorce papers without a second thought, and agreed to all of her husband’s terms in court, claiming that the entire affair was a waste of her time and that she needed to get back to work. Still feeling compassion for the woman he had once loved allowed Xetatyl to have their two daughters on the weekends.

Even with her husband giving her a second chance Xetatyl still paid zero attention to the girls, which caused their few encounters to be quite hostile. 10 minutes ago Xetatyl had arrived at work, when the Heartless attacked. Barricading herself inside her office in an attempt stop the things advanced she pushed fellow co-workers out of the way, and for the first time in her life felt fear. The glass door of her office lasted a total of five seconds before the small Heartless burst through, and began consuming her, the last thing Xetatyl knew before being swallowed by darkness was how she wished that she could have made things up with her family, and how she wished she could have lived her life differently. This regret is what put her into the world of the nobodies, and she now wakes into the Hall of Empty Melodies.

Equipment & Abilities:

Pandoras: Xetatyl commands the Pandora Nobodies; these nobodies have the figure of a middle aged human female, but their faces are replaced by tribal masks decorated with gold and emerald paint, which resembles a face. Their feet are bent like an animals and end in vicious looking talons, and vibrant pink and purple feather protrude from their arms, allowing them to have the ability of flight, their arms end in claws, that during combat vibrate.

Fate’s Judgment: Xetatyl’s weapon of choice is the rapier, through which she projects her element: Chaos. The blade is standard sized, and has the look of untarnished silver. The hilt forms in four prongs that act as a guard, around a ruby sphere that floats in the middle seeming to defy gravity, opposed to the usual basket hilt. The weapon is highly durable, and sustains no damage even when she projects her element across it.

Strident Spiral: A white spiral of energy forms from the end of the rapier wrapping all the way across it until it reaches the hilt, it then begins to vibrate, creating a piercing noise, but it is only audible if someone is nearby. The spiral then collapses onto the blade, and the vibrations from the blade are enough to cut metal.
Not sure if it really matters if I post this, but it doesn't hurt to try right?

How WOULD chaos work as a element? Does it just cause weird shit to happen cause if so it would be a bit nonstandard with her character design which is great if intentional but avoidable if not. You get what I'm saying right? If by chaos you mean the destruction power why not something like Corrode instead?

Frybread, one typo I was hoping you would fix was "As kid", but no matter. Accepted.

Sapphyre, I actually do prefer apps to be posted in here, so thank you. I see nothing that needs fixing, so I'll approve you.

Jane, Xemnas had Nothingness as an element. I think Chaos is acceptable.

That only works if you refer to Chaos as the blend of Light and Darkness. Otherwise I think it might be TOO abstract. And saying something is more abstract than nothingness is SAYING something.

Misunderstood, I don't think its unacceptable by vagueness, I however find it a odd choice for the charcter.

Chaos tends to be you know, the madness psychedelic stuff or completly oppositeand just pure nihilisitc destruction thats why i want to know what it actually DOES

Name: Laxc
Gender: Male?
Age: 18
Alignment: "Nobody

Source: Pinocchio

Appearance: Laxc covers his face with bandages, these bandages are engraved in ancient script that was convereted to Wingding lest their secrets be known to the world. Laxc is tall and thin, having more in common with the dead then he does with a standard person. Laxc is notable for constantly carrying around the incredibly lifelikce puppet Strider, Strider has blonde hair and sunglasses, naturally both wear the cloaks.

Personality: Laxc is very quiet, having never spoken a word by himself since his death, however Strider is consistently talking and tends to be a bit of a smartass, Strider does not acknowledge the existence of Laxc often and when asked he seems to find it no big deal as ‘sure it’s a bit creepy but hey it’s a neat puppet’. It can be gathered that Laxc refuses to acknowledge his own existence as a person, and rather seems hellbent to somehow switch places with Strider. Ironically his puppetry is so realistic no one is entirely sure he DIDN’T especially due to the nature of his powers. Laxc is a habitual smoker, or rather Strider is, apperantly substituting a lack of emotion with the mind altering effects that drugs can provide. None of this works however cause Strider is a puppet…probably. Laxc is a skilled craftsman and makes a puppet of everyone he kills. He has a habit of leaving this around (or maybe it’s intentional no one can tell) which has caused more then one bit of psychological trauma, especially when Jumpsuit found a exact replica of what used to be his head in the toilet. Beyond that Laxc rarely does anything independent, usually having Strider do it, or strider puppetering him to do it in a bizarre proxy, however Laxc is a fan of psychedelic rock and plays a sitar on occasion, apperantly having found Demyx’s old room. However this is usually when the second hand fumes from Strider’s substances caused him to forget his charade. (Or strider thought Laxc was alive and had him play sitar, they are extremely powerful drugs).
Character History: Cal was descended from the famous Pinoccio, as a boy he developed an obsession with his ancestor Gepetto, a man who could breath life into objects. Cal attempted to recreate taht faithful day but in his obsession he missed a few facts, Cal was unaware that it was his love not skill that caused the Blue Fairy to breath life into his puppet, nor did he even know the Blue Fairy exists at all. Rather he assumed Gepetto's craft was pure skill and as such poured his growing madness into his puppets, making them incredibly lifelike, or beautiful in some way, however no matter their appearance they all unnerved his customers, even the most dauntless could feel the pure insanity that infected the wood they were carved from and Laxc found himself growing broke. Unwilling to simply let it die Cal began experimenting with hallucinogens trying to expand his mind to perfect his skill, this caused his puppets to become surreal picassian pieces of art who's disturbing qualities made them incredibly appealing as artwork and soon he found great business within the horror industry, but it was not enough.  While cautioned against such insanity from his manager and only true friend a man named Dave Strider he delved deeper into the world of darkness, expermineting with black magics as well as drugs, a combination  that immediatly strikes every sane man as a terrible terrible idea. Cal was not like other nobodies in that he never got killed by the heartless, rather his insanity brought him over the edge of darkness after learning that his friend Strider was consumed by a Behemoth.

Or perhaps Strider himself simply took Cal's name as penance for failing to save him from such madness it would be really helpful if they actually TALKED. However on the assumption Laxc is the real one he awoke to find that he has no emotions to properly celebrate his ultimate success. As such, he took to puppetry, figuring it was not really THAT different from what the other nobodies are doing.

Equipment & Abilities: Laxc's element is life, he can bring objects to life, (which usually has a poltergeist effect) as well as consort with the dead (Which in hindsight makes his puppets really creepy) and can manipulate his own living tissue... if it's living and not a puppet. His weapon of choice is the puppet Strider, or the puppet laxc Either way they are expert pugilists which allows them to perform a variety of tag team martial arts along with whatever junk was lying around. He's not impossible to fend off if it wasnt for the fact that people tend to end up screaming in pure horror within a few minutes of facing him, he is a VERY disconcerting fight with his life fiddling.

Also of note is that Life element seems to have given laxc a bit of immortallity, he can't die until he sees fit to do so. even taking to leaving pieces of himself lying around to see if it works. However given his obssesion with Strider if you break the puppet you break him.... that is, if laxc isnt just a puppet and not immortal at all to begin with.

They lead the PuPu nobodies (Technically they are called Puppeteers but it was a group consensus that there was enough fucking puppets and they did not want to encourge laxc any more) Pupu's are around 6 inches tall, kinda look like blue hoodie plushies, and pilot 6 foot mechanical automotons. The Pupu can repair their own machines or summon more which makes them difficult to take down but their respawn models are weaker the the orginal one. In addition PuPus are notoriously addicted to Elixers and have great technical knowledge, they however tend to be very spastic and not good at much nontech things.
