Okay, Merlin needs to go back in time for some reason in order to create a stable time loop. Any ideas?

Maybe Jenova's interactions with this time period cause an unstable anomaly, and thus open a time gate to the past.  Reasoning behind such would be that he is technically non-existant, but because he retains Sephiroth's memories and embodies him, he affects powerful Heartless.  Merlin could use that interaction to go back in time.

Just a thought.  Or were you looking specifically for a REASON to go back?  Cuz that can work too if I reword the above.  Like so:

Jenova's interactions cause a time rift  that must be made stable.  Etc. etc.

Because their wasnt invisible barriers UNTIL there is a event battle, as I said they are gameplay elements not plot elements, they have just been proven to exist.

And besides you utterly failed to use your own loophole.

And besides that this whole boss fight has NOTHING to do with you. I know this is probbably the most cruel thing that you can ever comprehend but there are plot elements that don't even involve you, this is one of them.

Mateus is as I said prior the first boss fight, he has to lose but it has to be CHALLENGING, if mr fucking invincible-except-for-unexplained-plot-device shows up I have to make him a lot HARDER however if i do THAT then the apprentices cant beat him and that plot line goes fuckin nowhere, sure YOU can beat him but YOU ARENT THE MAIN CHARACTER

Hell the closest thing to the main character is Trevor Ryan and Violia with Balthazar as the main supporting mentor, Kriex as the main antagonist, Mateus is a side antagonist, and your a Xigbar like floozy.

Which means there is absolutely no meaning if YOUR character wins this fight. And frankly I am tired of pulling BS out of my ass just to preserve the fragile power balance that keeps this rp from just ending up as a really big mess of power loopholes and bad fighting scripts until Rinne locks the whole thing for God Modding or something.

So maybe yes you can pull it off you can even beat Mateus, he's not particularly HARD to beat because he is supposed to lose. But if you pull shit from your ass and i pull shit from mine and cause them all to teleport to a unknown location in some fuckin hellscape and then you coincidently find them cuase your lucky and then because i control everything i try to kick you out but because your lucky it fails then in our attempt to get our characters to look cool NOTHING WILL GET DONE.

SO LET

IT

GO

You're the one trying to shove his Keyboner in everyone's faces here. I'm acting both rational, and with logic. You cna't rely on the kids to get this shit done because, guess freaking what? It'll take pages for a batch of newbies to get this shit done. I am forcing Mateus to get the plot rolling at a rate faster than a snail's pace.

You're the one making this go longer than it has too. You've already proven Mateus is a threat, you're just show boating.

I CLEARED this fight ahead of time. But a fight has to mirror the danger. To have him get simply executed will NOT show he is dangerous rather it will show you are, and as stated this isnt about you.

How many fights that were in any way supposed to be important only happened in like 12 seconds? This isn't rocket science.

This battle isnt even about Mateus, as a boss and a villian he ultimately serves only as a motivator and a stepping stone for the heros growth as individuals. Growth that requires them to win, if you win the battle for them the battle is meaningless.

This isnt a race to the end of the story if it was Suga Moma would already be fighting Kriex. So sometimes you have to grit your teeth or go do a seperate side quest. Maybe try to make your own replica of your past like and then control it so you can by proxy have a heart. Maybe you try to come to terms with your weird sudden feelings that your character dealt with earlier, or maybe you have a deadbeat keep watch while you tell Kriex that there is a fuckin keyblade wielder. All of that makes sense and will not render the entire boss fight pointless.

Well of god damn course, but you can't expect the kids ot be smart enough to go for the Barrier Master, and it's not precisely rationale to have a major threat standing there and not do everything in your power to deal with it.

Letting inexperienced kids face one of the most powerful sorcerors alone is as stupid as sending someone your credit card details because a talking moose ad told you too.

That much I will grant but as stated before (but a edit ruined)

And I gave him a death wound to account for the handicap in his fighting prowess, and don't forget Balthazar.

And finally you can just tell them to hit the barrier master, its not a sonic barrier. (Also a deadbeat cant beat a barrier master that fast their health is abnormally large)

The problem is that kids or not these characters ARE supposed to eventually kill you. so you are going to have to let them run themself eventually.

Here is the updated character applications. Hope you enjoy Roxas.
Name: Xyu Gaso
Gender: Male
Age: Human – 17 / Nobody - 2
Alignment: Nobody
Source Material: Strictly, this was a character from a manga I’m currently putting on hold.

Appearance: Being a meager 5’8”, Yasu Go was actually born of average on his home planet, but when compared to the other people that began walking into his village, he’d realized he was short for his own age. Determined to overcome this inborn disability, Yasu was constantly training to become the stronger, as the people who were coming into his village were becoming…’problematic.’ This led to his quite chiseled features and his handsome looks.

Due to his people keeping their hair culturally long, Yasu constantly keeps his hair in a unique pony tail that only goes down to his shoulders.

At an early age, he began to disregard his people’s own customs and began adopting a new cultural identity. Making him keeping up with the latest fashion trends with the modern world; currently he is wearing black sweat pants, with matching black macosains, black under-armor, with a hoodie-vest that can zip up.

Personality: Unlike Omcraxs’ analytical mind, Lexamus’ calm and deterrent persona, Xelo’s cold personality, or Haxz’s smug-hotshot attitude, Xyu in reality is none of these. Speaking from words of wisdom and experience, Xyu is a hard-working individual whose strength of will can never be broken in search of what remains of his family.

Despite being small in comparison to every other person, if Xyu is to fight larger opponents, he

would say “Give me your best shot.”

While he was 17 years old upon his death, Xyu’s corruptive world of war gave him the confidence of being sure of his actions.

His only weakness, is his strength of will can easily be perverse to betray allies, destroy entire nations, or sacrifice thousands to save one.

In short, he is a hard-worker who’s willing to overcome the torments if it means he can once again find his one true happiness.

Character History

“As kid, I remember being living in a small desert village that was located on some cliffs overlooking a canyon. It was a peaceful time when my people didn’t have to worry about anything; the harvest was bountiful, we’d became a successful trading town with a lot of local people, and most of all, I was happy. That all changed when my village attacked during a severe winter storm. I was only 7 years old when I witnessed my mother killed right in front of me. That night, when the village was mourning, only the cries of the children could be hear…and I was the loudest that night.”

Those were the exact words of Yasu Go when he was still a human. From what he could piece together from his memory, he was world was engulfed in constant wars and it was like violence was the only thing he could understand. This made it common for families to still be in their mid-to-late teens and was no exception. With a loving family behind him, he suffers from a metal prosthetic left leg.

As kid growing in a world that was continually ravaged by wars or other forms of violence, Yasu Go was determined to make sure that his small size or the origin of his identity was to be mocked; which is a fancy way of saying that he was bullied a lot. Answering with violence first, Yasu found himself within a pirate gang that became something that no one would have ever expected; a loving family. It was through them that Yasu realized how cruel the world could and established a violent nature on his own. Killing in private or public view became the normal life, until he finally found the man who killed his mother.

“I will avenge you mother!”

Yasu shouted towards the lone night sky.

When he turned 13, he followed the man to a tournament that was a fight to the death. In a cruel turn of events, Yasu barely got out of the alive and had lost his leg in the process.

While recuperating in the hospital, his pirate family came to visit him one day and explained to him that they were kicking him out of the gang; in their personal beliefs, a child should have never have to experience revenge or murders at his age. While in protest at first, Yasu was ultimately encouraged to join the military and make a better life for himself.

Although it was hard at first, Yasu learned valuable lessons and soon found a young woman named Yumi-Hime Kazama.  For the first time in his life, Yasu felt something he could die protecting and eventually married her, which in turn made Yasu begin to take his military career seriously. Becoming an modern day hero, Yasu was more inclined to take more dangerous missions to help pay future expenses that his new family may encounter – albeit protest from his wife worries.

It was only a matter time before Yasu knew that he could actually die in combat and began future plans to support his wife and coming child. However, before he could actually start anything, his encampment came under enemy siege that caught the entire platoon by surprise. With hardly any survivors, one report came from a soldier saying that Yasu charged head first into the enemy alone; when he was asked by the solder for the reason of his suicide charge, Yasu was quoted on saying “I can’t let die yet. After all, I’m a father now.”

While his body accepted death, the heart of the unconditional love of a husband and soon-to-be father forced him to keep death’s grip away.

When his world was invaded by the Heartless in force, the armies of the whole world could not stop this threat as they have been fighting each for too long and exhausted themselves. Two years later, Yasu’s world was finally destroyed and became a feast for the Heartless; Despite being dead for two years, Yasu’s body was no exception to the darkness; his previous life of murdering and revenge was deep enough to taint his heart of darkness for the rest of life.

Awaking from what felt like a deep sleep, Yasu was only confused; His body was dead two years had already accepted a warrior’s death, while the heart of a loving husband and father took what was left of its strength and told the body to come back and protect its family.

Equipment & Abilities: Having to spend time in actual military combat, Xyu Gaso makes up for his lack of strength, speed, and tactics with a sound mind and body. It doesn’t matter who the enemy is, as long he can keep the enemy within the range of his arms and legs, he plans well in advance to make the winds of change are in his favor.

-Flying Dragons: In his close range arsenal, he packs a set of twin knives that can cut swaths of wind currents toward his target, mincing them to pieces.

-Dancing Eagle: Using a Dao based sword he used back on his home world, the Dancing Eagle uses the wind to help Xyu move through the battle effortlessly to make up for his crippled leg and make mid-range combat.

-Beserking Wyverns: Once a foes gets out of his range of attacking, Xyu is helpless as they come. To make up for this, he uses a specialized kusari-gama to drag enemies back to a hellish close-quarters nightmare. Using his mastery over the wind, he can ensure a 100% hit accuracy to make sure his sickle-chain weapon will find it’s mark, no matter distance.

-After years of intense training on his own home-world, Xyu is able to dematerialize his entire body into the wind and quickly close the distance to the distance to his opponent (as seen in his appearance.

Back on his homeworld, he was always fascinated with birds and their ability to fly. With hopes that he may one day join them in the air, it is no doubt that Xyu takes command of the RAGING RAVENS Nobodies; a group of Nobodies that resembles ravens and help transport the other Nobody members should a Corridor of Darkness not be available. It should be noted that Xyu takes full advantages of this fact and rides them into battle as his personal steeds.

Oh and I know this has been basically ignored but most elite nobodies are named after classes. Like Paladin and sniper, they are classes in Final Fantasy and so on, I only say this cause naming stuff after the beauty and the beast corps is a bit pushing it in my opinion, but thats just me i guess.
