Aren't Broad Swords and Scimitars the f**king same!? Or is that just in Mortal Kombat?

I honestly would have preferred a katana as a choice. Oh well. Broad Sword it is, I guess. <_<

Okay let me take this slow.

Broadsword ^

Scimitar^

Scimitars have a curved blade.  while the broadsword has a crossguard.

Basket Swords have english origin and are used in fencing as well as heavy calvary.

Meanwhile the scimitar has muslim origin and was used often as a beheading tool.

I'd say avoid the katana's. They're too over-used, and it should be one weapon per person anyway, and I doubt anyone wants to get in a fight over a katana.

However, more varied weapons than merely blades would be appreciated. A polearm, for example.

[spoiler=Oh, and this is a Scimitar, because people dont seem to know]

Nothing like a broadsword.

brought Broadsword back and look at the kingdom key it is an ax, and as for club it works as well it is just a matter of size and I'm using keyblade sized ones.

Also the weapons are sheathed like the keyblade where they disappear and reappear when he wants them.

Where did that customization for your Katana come from, I never said anything about it but okay guys look like you have something to put in your posts.

I sortof think it would have made sense to just have each of them choose between the Dream Sword, Dream Shield, and Dream Staff.

These weapons WERE used to determine how the characters would grow before for Sora and Roxas.

So it's like, symbolism and a tie in, plus it has dies to dreams for obvious reasons. After all Dive to The Heart seems to be a dream world.

There not for him pretty much he's giving the apprentices generic weapons to use before they get their Keyblades but then it was decided that when they chose them it gets a custom look for them which I wasn't planning on. They don't have any powers and will be lost when they get their Keyblades which is just there so they can learn how to use a weapon before getting their keyblade, Sora and Riku play/trained for years before getting their Keyblades.

Weren't those just fake little wooden sword sticks they through together that had no effect on a heartless whatsoever? I mean aren't you essentially giving apprentices useless devices.

Also as for Horvath I have no problem changing it. I'm just having a hard time thinking of a Disney villain that comes from New York...or would arguably be in New York.
