A brand new Jump manga (only 5 chapters at the time of my writing this) that has oodles of potential. The best way to explain the main character, Haiji, is that he's a scientist and a lot like L from Death Note. He has the power to control gravity by ingesting this regenerating black apple. CONTROL GRAVITY. He's accompanied by his ditzy assistant Chitose, who conflicts with Haiji a lot because of his Mayuri Kurotsuchi approach to science.

Haiji's interesting to say the least. The manga's got a pretty okay start so far, but you're right, I can see a lot of potential in this series.
And pretty creative approach to the powers and how it all connects with the science the series operates around.

This manga defies all conventions and creates a very unique premise with interesting characters and plenty of potential.

I actually learned a couple things from the manga.

I really hope this sticks around, because it looks like it can keep going.

I wouldn't say all conventions, but everything else I pretty much agree with.

 

I'm thinking this'll stick around. Haiji should be rounded out some more in upcoming chapters and I can see Sound Guy becoming a fan favorite. I think a lot of cool-and-calm guys secretly have thoughts like his on the inside.
