This has got to be one of the most mind numbing movies I have ever laid my eyes on. The acting is sh*t, the dialogue is cheesy, the CG is low budget, the cinematography makes me want to upchuck, it conflicts with the first movie, and the directing is just bad. Every single piece of this movie is bad.

First off I would like to point out that this movie completely conflicts with the universe from the first movie. If the Ghost Rider is an individual angel, why were there two ghost rider's at the end of the first movie? Secondly, in the first movie, the Ghost Rider was portrayed as this bad ass demon that did whatever it wanted and punished all those who did wrong. In this film, Ghost Rider is portrayed as some freaking weirdo from an Exorcism, always wandering and moaning and acting like he is from The Devil Inside.

The dialogue was too cliche and cheesy but the worst part was the directing. Scenes were extremely off pace and the "Shaky Camera" feel just doesn't work. It didn't work in the Bourne Ultimatum and it isn't working here. The CG was so low budget I thought I was watching a puppet show. Many actors portrayed their roles horribly and the only one that looked like he was actually TRYING was Nic Cage himself.

Now don't get me wrong. I understand that Nic is doing the best he can to pull off this role and that is respectful in his own right. However, he just can't be Johnny Blaze. The problem with the first movie was he was too old and the problem with the second movie is he is too old. I understand Johnny is supposed to be old but I didn't mean THIS OLD!

What I do (Honestly) like about the Ghost rider films is the actors they grab to play the Devil. In the first film they had Peter Fonda who really lightened up the movie and I really liked his role. This time, they grabbed Ciaran Hinds to play the role. He was really good despite his characterization in the movie to be dramatically worse than the original.

Nelvedine/Taylor are a curious couple of directors. Sometimes their movies are good and sometimes they are bad. I don't mind them that much. I really liked Crank and Crank: High Voltage. However, movies like Gamer and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, are just some of the movies I wish I could forget.[/spoiler]

So YCM what did you think of this movie.

Yeah the first Ghost Rider was terrible
And so the second one was terrible as well

Ghost Rider 1 was terrible but not as bad as this. At least Ghost Rider 1 had a good cast with some (Slightly Good) directing.

Compared to this movie, I would give the first Ghost Rider a 2/5. However, yea, they both suck.

Am I the only one who kind of liked the first Ghost Rider movie? I mean compared to this one, I can't help but see the first one as great.

But, on topic of this movie, I am not going to try and put this gently as I put it in most bad movies, and I am going to clearly say this. After I watched this movie, I honestly felt as I would have rather spent my time drinking some orange juice and washing my teeth, then going outside and puking and that taking up the time that I watched this movie.

In all honesty, this movie was so terrible that I actually started laughing like a hysterical maniac after about half the movie. Seriously, I think people that were with me thought about sending me to a mental institution.

And, to make it worse, Nicolas Cage! The bad part is that the guy is a GOOD actor. I think a lot of things he stars in are brought to life because of HIM! But, as History has taught as time and time again, no good acting can fix something that is bad beyond recognition. So, I frankly give props to the guy for trying, but this was a doomed case from the start.

I have given 0s out of 5, but this just cant be compared to that, so I'm going to invent the lowest grade I can. This movie is a clear -∞ / 5. Yes, I actually used an infinity sign as a grade. That's how much I despise this movie.
