Gαr
One of the most influential movies of the sci fi genre and art animation.

Just Crouton
Best soundtrack ever. I remember watching this around '95 on Sci-Fi Channel. The redub sucks.
Yeah the Akira soundtrack was awesome But if you ask me I prefer the Blade Runner soundtrack But anyways I've only seen the dub of the movie It was impossible for me to find the subtitled version
Just Crouton
I have yet to watch the dub.
The Streamline dub (the first one that I wasn't referring to) is the best. It might be on Youtube, though you can find clips of it. Fusion X. Denver
I saw whichever dub had Jonny Bosche voice the main. Betting that's the redub though. It was a pretty good movie and once I saw it, I immediately remembered seeing it being referenced in other shows like South Park. I can see why it'd be a landmark for its time. Akira's kinda like Evangelion for me where I can appreciate its quality and understand its high praise, though ultimately I only just "kinda like" it whereas everyone else loves it.
