I agree. Raven is, I think, one of the most fleshed out characters in the series. They should make an arc like hers for every character, including the villains.

Yeah it would've been nice if they would've given us some more backstory on Beast Boy and Cyborg. I always found Starfire to be fairly boring so her story isn't as intriguing to me.

Red X was Robin's alter ego in attempt to gain Slade's trust to get close to him.
Slade saw through him, of course, but yeah, Red X is pretty kick ass, even with the other guy dressed as him.

I meant the other guy who stole the suit from Robin's storage. And Red X feature many similar traits to Jason Todd(2nd Robin) when he was using the Red Hood identity.

Would you recommend the current volume of Teen Titans? I'm hesitant to give Scott Lobdell any of my money.

The book is more directed at comedy, presumably because otherwise it would be too similar to Young Justice, but that wouldn't make sense, since Hal Jordan is in both Young Justice and Green Lantern The Animated Series. The only characters in both Young Justice and Teen Titans are Dick Grayson and Beast Boy.

[color=#008000][b]Don't forget Speed, he was on Teen Titan as well. I don't really hate Lobdell's writing per say and His current run on Superman is enjoyable enough, so is Red Hood. The current Teen Titan on the other hand is average at best. Mediocre origin and it hasn't been a very "team" book since the main focus is usually on Robin, Wonder Girl or Superboy.[/b][/color]

Oh yeah, forgot about Speedy. And of course, Kid Flash is part of the main team, which is one of the main things that makes me want to watch Young Justice more often.

I don't doubt Lobdell's run on Superman is good, but I find it baffling that Red Hood is apparently good. It's bad when Batgirl is taken off her wheelchair, but taking the proud, caring, and optimistic Starfire and making her emotionally distant and willing to sleep with anyone who offers to, and we get a focus on a character people wanted to die, while Roy goes by the identity he used after the loss of his daughter, who no longer exists and thus the only reason he uses the name is because that's what he was called before the reboot? And apparently we can replace the editor on Batgirl, who forces Gail Simone off the book, and thus DC is forced to scramble for someone who can take over, and when we do get a replacement, it's only for two issues, and not enough people know who he is? But no, apparently Scott Lobdell [s]gets a free pass because he's a guy[/s] is allowed to be on as many books as possible, while a good writer like Joshua Hale Fialkov is only on one book, which will likely be cancelled in a couple months, assuming it hasn't been cancelled already?

[color=#008000][b]After the H'el crossover event, it'll probably go downhill. Teen Titan books was like that anyway, after that "The Culling" event TT's book got more boring. I also felt like Clark/Superman was written like Peter Parker which is soo out of character of him but I could say the same with both Kori and Roy. So you'll probably go bananas when I told you that Lobdell will be getting a new book right? He'll be writing Raven.[/b][/color]

He said he was unsatisfied with how The Culling turned out, and hopes to fix it with H'el on Earth. The extended length of the crossover will probably help. I've heard that Superman was being written like Peter Parker, but I'm curious what exactly that means. I know Raven will be showing up in the Death of the Family tie-in with Red Hood and the Outlaws and Teen Titans, then continuing to be in the latter, but he's mentioned that the plan is for that to lead to Raven getting her own team book, which I really hope he doesn't write.

Gail Simone was fired last week, but we only heard about it this week. Ray Fawkes, who will be co-writing Justice League Dark, will be a temporary writer. Christy Marx is on Sword of Sorcery, but hopefully she can work on Batgirl too. Either that or just get a new female writer. And yes, I'm aware of what was cancelled for the fourth wave, but I'm talking about after that. Lee and Snyder's Superman book will be in the fifth wave, and we can assume that there will be other books, and considering how low I, Vampire has been selling, I expect the book to be cancelled by May.

Kid Flash was the Flash in Justice League, so he also got to hook up with Hawkgirl. I'll need to see what I think of Artemis, but my preference for blondes interests me already. Too bad she got killed off so unceremoniously in The Culling. I also love how the yaoi fans of Young Justice like to pair Kid Flash with Wally. I may not care for yaoi, but I am totally willing to make an exception for that.

Anyway, I'm going to go post a topic about The New 52 just to take that subject away from here.
