-DG-
the 2 main problems I see in this are the ridiculously bright top BG and the bottom half that doesn't complement. Might I suggest looking at some logo tutorials online? Just search for some, and you'll find some decent ones that will help you grasp the basics of logo making! oh and Night, where you at? You know logos as well. One thing I'd like to suggest to change would be a different font. If this is a Yugioh Fiction, I'd recomment possible a golden/yellow color for the main part of the logo and red accents. If you have anything you want to know, feel free to message me! I'll help with what I can!
Night
This is a logo: What makes this logo work? Very simply put, it has the correct foundations. An appealing, eye catching and memorable focal, a divider to direct flow, and very simple text. What don't you see? There are no excess bits and pieces to distract the viewer from the focal, it's simple and conveys the message without the need for much on the canvas. Also note how everything is uniform, alignment is key in logo design. Lastly, note the color choice and style, monotone without texture, gradients or shadows. No fx whatsoever, yet it conveys the message flawlessly.
