Like my new Cyndaquil; the only names I could think of were 'Blaze' and 'Cinder'; neither of which sounded great. I went with Cinder in the end, because it fits better. Anyway, I'm logging off now. Anyway, tis about 1 o'clock here in britain, and a decent haul so far. £50 guitar amp, £90 in notes, a £25 itunes voucher and at least £30 worth of chocolate. And my grandma should be coming along in a bit with my new £250 guitar. And then we've got Christmas dinner, involving a Turkey for 20 between the 9 of us. Today's not a healthy day, I dont think. Anyway, we cooked the ham on the grill and while it was slightly smaller than we had planned the Christmas dinner turned out pretty good. Got a nap out of the day, plus a few presents. *cough**batman trilogy**cough*. Definitely a memorable Christmas. Also found out my grandparents have finally gotten wifi! Tyranitar, Aron & Cleffa. Tyranitar sets up Sandstorm with Sandstream, sets up Stealth rocks &, if it's still alive, just Dragon tail/Crunch/Fire punches the opponent. Aron comes in when Tyranitar dies and Endeavours the opponent who, as long as they're not Iron/Rock/Ground type, is then taken down by Sandstorm; Aron heals with Shell bell, and lives thanks to Sturdy. Starting over again, basically. If Aron is taken down, Cleffa also does a decent job of Endeavouring, though it requires a turn to heal. To deal with Rock/Ground/Steels I have a Castform, Politoed & Tentacruel. Mainly, Castform comes up, keeps the sandstorm alive and Hydropumps/Fireblasts them. Politoed & Tentacruel are generally used after the FEAR is up, and Politoed Hypnosis/Perish songs the opponent, while Tentacruel can Toxic Spike with Venoshock, and acts as my Rapid Spinner. EDIT: I've changed Castform cos it was pretty much useless; it never worked for me. I now have Chandelure/infernape, which deals with steels and stuff. Basically, you use endeavour to take your opponent down to the HP of a Lv1 Under-evolved pokémon - IE Aron - and originally it was use Quick Attack to destroy your enemy, but Sandstorm works quite well as well. However, Steel types are quite popular, and they can really mess up a FEAR plan. FEAR originally stood for 'F*cking Annoying Evil Rodent', as it was a Rattata doing the endeavouring, and it was quite a menace, for people had not seen it before. Now, it commonly stands for '[b]F[/b]ocus Sash, [b]E[/b]ndeavour, (Quick)[b] A[/b]ttack, [b]R[/b]attata', because the tactic was focussed around Rattata. Which I might start using. Anyway, any advice for other tactics I could use? And you never answered my question about the Move Tutor Move for the Battle Zone. I don't really know how well this would work competitively, but I like to frustrate my opponents by using the moves Taunt and Torment one after another. This shuts down quite a few moves, and is quite fun to use against NPCs. Aside from that, strategy really isn't too much my thing. I didn't until recently; I preferred just playing the games, because it allows you to use any pokémon you want.
