What happens if I declare the names of the cards in their hand incorrectly? Does this card go to the Graveyard?

Disciple of Truth would be very good in Prophecy as it makes -0 Level 5 or 6 Synchros with Stoic or Magician, respectively, and even if your opponent uses Torrential you haven't lost advantage.
