Limited Edition KING
So I've been thinking there are a lot of certain things that motivate us to accomplish some pretty extraordinary things. These accomplishments may include finding love, getting revenge, or achieving greatness in any career that we wish to pursue in. So I guess what I'm asking you is what quotes or speeches motivate you and why do they motivate you? For me the clip below always seems to motivate me, or at least evokes some emotion out of me and makes me have a think about what I want to achieve in life. LeguBrit
At times like this I like to resort to the greatest public speaker who ever existed.
Hitler would've worked wonders if he wasn't evil through and through. "We shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender." Winston Churchill. "I believe in a religion that believes in freedom. Any time I have to accept a religion that won't let me fight a battle for my people, I say to hell with that religion." Spirit of DMG
One quote that motivates me is this: "To get what we've never had, we must do what we've never done." And, a speech that motivates me? Mugendramon
Mine is pretty simple. My History teacher said it once, very casually, and still it stuck to me. Dunno. "Man's misfortunes are their own fault. Blaming others is the easy way out."
Aerion Brightflame
This is probably a wierd choice, but this motivates me. Might not motivate anyone else, but it does for me. Despite it being from a TV show, but some of the greatest speeches ever IMO have been in TV shows or movies.
