The problem with your Pop Culture cards is, if you ask me, that it mentions way too many specific cards. It makes people thoroughly confused as to what card you're searching, for example. People don't want to have to open all the spoilers because you mention a card that's in a different spoiler inside a different spoiler.

Allow it to risk getting used for materials/tribute fodder, then give it the search effect.

That's much more interesting, honestly. The effect that blocks out summons could contribute to that.
