Yes gentlemen, the Singularity, the thing we humans CANNOT FATHOM DUE TO UNHUMAN GARBAGARBLEGARBLE- Ahem.

Basically, we make a super computer that makes a smart supercomputer and so on and thus starts our Dark Age of Technology in which the Iron Men come and kills us all then Space JesusHitlerStalin comes and saves us all!

Anyhow, anyone thinks it'll happen during our lifetimes? (Hopefully)

Anyone oppose it? (Better be like around elves and watch yourselves if you do!)

Anyone scared of it? (Silly fillies, why would you be scared of something I entirely love and zealotry would serve?)

On topic though: I doubt it would happen in our lifetime since we don't really seem to be focused that far up the scale yet,

I believe that it is possible for the singularity to happen either this minute or in 100 years. Reason being is I don't think we can create the singularity. It must happen on it's own.
