The S.T.A.R. archetype is separated into 3 groups.

Yellow S.T.A.R.s - Humanoid beings, Warriors, Spellcasters and Psychics. They are Effect Monsters.
Blue S.T.A.R.s - Beast-like beings, Beasts, Reptiles and Winged-Beasts. They are Effect Monsters as well.
And finally, Red S.T.A.R.s, the Xyz Monsters of this archetype. They are mainly a combination of the two, as such they are inhabited by Beast-Warriors, Dragons and Fairies.
All the members are FIRE-attribute.

Their effects are exclusive to which group they belong to, but the difference isn't that big. Blue S.T.A.R.s special summon their Yellow counterparts from the deck or hand and vice versa. They have a second effect that activates when they are used for an Xyz Summon of their Red betters.

Their artwork would have them wielding different weapons that are colored similarly to their respective star.

Blue S.T.A.R. - Sniperdog

When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Yellow S.T.A.R." monster from your deck or hand. You can only gain this effect once per turn. A "S.T.A.R." Xyz Monster that was Summoned using this card as Xyz Material gains this effect.
● When it is Xyz Summoned, it gains 700 ATK.

Blue S.T.A.R. - Tankgriffin
[Winged-Beast / Effect / FIRE / Level 4]
ATK/1000 DEF/800
When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Yellow S.T.A.R." monster from your deck or hand. You can only gain this effect once per turn. A "S.T.A.R." Xyz Monster that was Summoned using this card as Xyz Material gains this effect.
● When it is Xyz Summoned, target face-up 1 monster your opponent controls; reduce it's DEF by 1000, change it to the face-up defense position, and have this Xyz Monster deal piercing damage to that monster.

Blue S.T.A.R. - Spychameleon
[Reptile / Effect / FIRE / Level 2]
ATK/200 DEF/200
When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Yellow S.T.A.R." monster from your deck or hand. You can only gain this effect once per turn. A "S.T.A.R." Xyz Monster that was Summoned using this card as Xyz Material gains this effect.
● When it is Xyz Summoned, while this card is attached as an overlay unit, it can attack your opponent directly.[/SPOILER]

Yellow S.T.A.R. - Knifesoldier
[Warrior / Effect / FIRE / Level 4]

When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Blue S.T.A.R." monster from your deck or hand. You can only gain this effect once per turn. A "S.T.A.R." Xyz Monster that was Summoned using this card as Xyz Material gains this effect.
● When it is Xyz Summoned, target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; banish it until the end phase of this turn.

Yellow S.T.A.R. - Staffmage
[Spellcaster / Effect / FIRE / Level 3]
ATK/500 DEF/500
When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Blue S.T.A.R." monster from your deck or hand. You can only gain this effect once per turn. A "S.T.A.R." Xyz Monster that was Summoned using this card as Xyz Material gains this effect.
● When it is Xyz Summoned, add 1 "S.T.A.R." Spell card from your deck.

Yellow S.T.A.R. - Shotgunseer
[Psychic / Effect / FIRE / Level 2]
ATK/100 DEF/800
When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Blue S.T.A.R." monster from your deck or hand. You can only gain this effect once per turn. A "S.T.A.R." Xyz Monster that was Summoned using this card as Xyz Material gains this effect.
● When it is Xyz Summoned, select 1 face-down monster your opponent controls; Flip Summon it and negate it's effects.[/SPOILER]

Red S.T.A.R. - General Leobladesman
[Beast-Warrior / Xyz / Effect / FIRE / Rank 3]
ATK/1600 DEF/1000
2 Level 3 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls, and inflict damage equal to it's ATK. This card cannot attack during the turn you activate this effect.

Red S.T.A.R. - Battleship Dragocatapult
[Dragon / Xyz / Effect / FIRE / Rank 4]
ATK/2500 DEF/2000
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Until the end phase of this turn, this card cannot be destroyed in battle, and if this card battles, destroy the other monster after the damage calculation. Any monster destroyed by this effect is equipped to this card. Once per turn you can send equipped monster to the graveyard, and deal damage to your opponent equal to their Rank/Level x200.

Red S.T.A.R. - Royal Pistolmaster
[Fairy / Xyz / Effect / FIRE / Rank 2]
ATK/1000 DEF/1000
2 Level 2 monsters
If this card deals battle damage to your opponent, detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; discard 2 random cards from your opponent's hand and deal damage based on what those cards were:
● Monster: Inflict 500 damage to your opponent.
● Spell: Inflict 700 damage to your opponent.
● Trap: Inflict 900 damage to your opponent.[/SPOILER]

Normal Spell
