Name: Talon Warsaw
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: Talon stands at about 5'7" and is not very muscular, but lean. Talon's skin is naturally dark, and due to his wearing of long, white robes it has not changed much since birth. Talon carries the mark of a hawk's claw on his left pectoral muscles( what is modernly called a tattoo). Talon has honeyed color eyes and jet black hair. Talon normally wears white robes and a Kafiyah Scarf to cover his face. Beneath his robes, Talon usually dons a shirt made out of hardened leather, as protection, as well as a pair of shorts. Around Talon's neck is a golden necklace, a prize from one of his raids, that depicts a picture of a connected crescent moon and sun.
Personality: Talon is a natural born warrior. He is courageous and loyal, but hot headed and often makes risky decisions. Talon has had a deep sense of honor pounded into him, he refuses to fight a fellow human that is unarmed and will not attack an enemy from behind. Talon is fierce, but has an uncharacteristically large sense of compassion that often hinders him from delivering a killing blow, sometimes jeopardizing his own life.
Implement: Staff
Implement Description: Talon's staff is carved from the wood of the large palm trees that grow around the various oasis's found sporadically throughout the desert. The staff is strong and is able to endure moderate strength blows. Carved around the staff is a pair of spiraling lines that intersect at the top of the staff.

Name: Razor Sand
Type: Elemental Magic(Earth)
Recharge: 15 minutes
What it does: Shoots a blast of spiraling sands out of the top of Talon's staff. If Talon is in an environment with large amounts of sand, the spell can be adapted to use the sand around him instead.

Name: Crumbling Earth
Type: Elemental Magic(Earth)
Recharge: 3 hours
What it does: Causes the earth to shake, split, and crack around Talon. This spell requires Talon to slam the butt of his staff on the ground to activate. When the spell's power fades, the earth reseals, repairing the ground crushing anything that has fallen into the cracks.

Name: Snatching Earth
Type: Elemental Magic(Earth)
Recharge: 20 minutes
What it does: The ground around the target's feet becomes more liquid-like, snatching at the target's feet and legs, causing them to trip and stumble.

Name: Rock Shot
Type: Elemental Magic(Earth)
Recharge: 1 minute
What it does: Generates a small rock at the tip of Talon's staff and is able to fire at a target. Talon is also able to modify the spell to instead take a small portion of the surrounding ground and shoot it at a target.

Name: Puppeteer
Type: Arcane Force(Telekinesis)
Recharge: 5 hours
What it does: Allows user to take control of another being's physical actions. This spell only works if the target is physically weaker than the user. Talon has not quite mastered this spell and at the moment it only works as an enhanced variation of levitation, allowing him to pick up heavier items and move the in different directions.

Name: Invisibarrier
Type: Arcane Force(Force)
Recharge: 3 minutes
What it does: Creates an invisible barrier made out of magical energy, the barrier shatters after one strong hit or several weak ones.

Bio: Talon was born into a small, warrior tribe that lives on the outskirts of Arxis. Talon is the son of the tribe leader, and as such was forced to constantly practice with weapons to become the tribe's best warrior. At the age of 15 Talon went on his first raid, in where members of the tribe venture out into the desert and attack bands of desert demons that hoard stolen items. It was during his first raid that he obtained his necklace that he constantly wears. Talon is one of the few members of his tribe that have shown promise in the arcane arts, and as such is either loved or hated by everyone. It is customary for members of Talon's tribe to venture off and have an adventure once they turn 17. After turning 17, Talon's father presented him with a gift of a scimitar, the tribal signature weapon, in preparation for his coming of age adventure.

Other: Talon also possesses a magical compass that not only tells the direction the holder is going, but is also impervious to outside tampering.

Name: Alaster von Kroll
Age: 20
Gender: Male
[spoiler=Appearance:] Alaster is a man of surprisingly athletic build for a wizard. He stands at an average height, perhaps just on the tall side, and his physique is respectable. Specifically, it could be said that the lean muscle across his body is less fit to be used for heavy lifting and more fitting for swift, fluid motion. His skin is dark in coloration, the sort one would expect of those who lived in a region where intense sunlight is common. His face is kept clean-shaven at all times, and this is often difficult for him to do because of how quickly he grows facial hair which, like the short-cut hair upon his head, is a coppery brown. Concerning his facial structure, his cheek bones are high and pronounced with his jaw coming in sharply to a moderately sized cleft chin. His nose is, well, unremarkable and his eyes are dichromatic. The right is bright orange and the left is slate grey. Concerning clothing, he often wears a simple robe of vibrant orange bearing the occasional swirl of white, the edges of which are faded against the orange. A crimson sash wraps around his chest from the right shoulder down to the left hip to which is attached the leather scabbard for his blade. Beneath his robes, he wears a suit of steel armor formed from segmented plates to allow for the greatest possible freedom of movement.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Personality:] This is a man that makes you feel comfortable around him. Alaster exudes an aura of good will and happiness which always manages to make those around him feel welcome. He is quick to laugh, but himself rarely does or says anything worth laughing at. He is quick to offer consolation when one is feeling upset and quicker to come to the aid of someone in need. Despite that he is quick to act, he is often slow to use violence to solve a problem and instead tries to negotiate. However, if the problem he sees involves violence already he will use both blade and spell to end it.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Implement:] Not quite the traditional wizard, Alaster's implement isn't quite traditional either. He carries a blade similar in shape to a scimitar, though it is as long as a normal man's leg. Additionally, it bears a hilt nearly a foot long which allows for him to easily wield it in both hands. The blade itself is of a curious, black metal which always feels warm as if left out in the sun for a few minutes and its light weight surprises all who hold it. The foot-long hilt is wrapped in red leather to grant whoever wields it extra grip so as not to lose the weapon in a swing, and is separated from the blade by a simple cross-guard. The black edge is inscribed with arcane runes which come aglow in either pale white or vibrant orange depending upon the spell cast through it.[/spoiler]

Name: Scorching Blade
Type: Elemental
Recharge: 10min
What it does: Alaster's blade becomes wreathed from tip to guard in bright orange flames for ten minutes. These flames heat the blade such that wounds it makes are instantly cauterized, and anything flammable upon the being struck catches fire.

Name: Aerial Dash
Type: Elemental
Recharge: .5min
What it does: Propelled along by a gust of wind, Alaster dashes forward at five times his normal running speed. This allows him to slam forcefully into enemies or quickly close to begin combat

Name: Swath of Flames
Type: Elemental
Recharge: 20min
What it does: Alaster lashes his blade out in a horizontal arc, unleashing a rushing wave of fire across the ground in front of him out to ten yards. Those unfortunate enough to be caught in the wave will find the flames of remarkable intensity.

Name: Gust
Type: Elemental
Recharge: 20min
What it does: Alaster thrusts his blade forward, sending a powerful gust of wind in that direction. Those caught in the gust may be knocked to their feet or thrown with sufficient force to be injured were they to hit something solid

Name: Firestorm
Type: Elemental
Recharge: 1.5 hours
What it does: Alaster drives his blade into the ground, and a powerful wind begins to swirl about him in a vortex into which most things that aren't more or less nailed down are drawn. After a few seconds, this vortex erupts into flames of frightful intensity which consume or ignite most anything drawn in.[/spoiler]

Name: Surging Flame
Type: Swordmage (Channels Fire Magic)
Recharge: 10min
Effect: Alaster drives his blade into an enemy before channeling the power of flame deep inside of them. In addition to doing a fair amount of damage to the target, this bypasses any resistance to fire born of a resistant hide which a creature may have.

Name: Cyclone Blade
Type: Swordmage (Channels Wind Magic)
Recharge: 20min
Effect: Alaster brings to life a violent cyclone around his weapon. This persists for 10 minutes, and due to the intense force of the cyclone grants his attacks the ability to penetrate armor much more efficiently than normal.

Name: Defensive Cyclone
Type: Swordmage (Channels Wind Magic)
Recharge: 1.5 min
Effect: Alaster creates a cyclone around his weapon which, upon parrying a strike from an opponent spreads to their weapon. The power of this cyclone is sufficient that it rips the weapon cleanly out of their hands. Obviously this doesn't work on weapons which are attached to their wielder.

Name: Flaming Swarm
Type: Swordmage (Channels Fire magic)
Recharge: 15min
Effect: Alaster's weapon becomes engulfed in flames, and by moving it in a slashing motion he "breaks" the flames into a several hundred small needles. From there, he can direct these needles to strike up to seven separate targets. If he is aware of a weak spot and its location upon one or more of these targets, he can direct the needles to strike it. Given that to hit multiple targets the swarm must be divided, it does less damage to an individual the more separate targets he is striking with it.[/spoiler]

Bio: Alaster grew up more or less alone, living on the streets and doing whatever he could to survive with little idea as to the identity of his parents. He discovered early on that he had some talent for magic, and so rather than steal a tome on magic he found what few honest jobs a street urchin could to earn the money and purchased one. Lacking a proper implement, he spent several years using whatever discarded objects of sufficient size he could find to practice. One day, when he had barely come of age as a wizard, he managed to land a job escorting a nobleman between cities. So impressed with his work along the journey was the noble that he commissioned a weapon fitting for the self-styled "battlemage." Thus, Alaster was awarded with the handsome weapon in addition to his payment which was spent on a set of robes and armor fitting him. Some four years later he had mastered combat with his own particular style of magic and swordsmanship, and turned twenty years of age.
