Its funny, Im venturing that world right now. That Cheep Cheep was such a pain.
No, really, I skipped World 2 all together and decided to go after that cake.

Speaking of annoying Cheep Cheeps, 5-3 is such a gigantic pain.
And yes, glory to the cake.
I am at the final boss right now and took a detour to find the bastard hidden doors.

Out of curiosity, how does one make money in this game?
I mean, the game basically forces you to spam those Item stickers, and they cost like 80-300 each.
And... Well... It eats Mario's wallet xD

Well, I only just started world two, but... I get tons of money from the battles alone. xD

I have so much unfound hatred for this game it is not even funny.

Everything about it drives me insane. I'm a die-hard Paper Mario fan, and after playing through this game and giving it several chances, it has failed. It is what I consider to be the worst out of any Mario RPG.

I'm not even going to begin to say why I hate it. But there are plenty of reasons... There's no leveling up. No Score or Star Points. /EVERYTHING/ is an item. There are no badges. The game punishes you for experimenting and trying to solve puzzles. It basically FORCES you to either get lucky or look up a guide. Otherwise, good luck getting that Thing back.

Speaking of that, there is no SP. No FP. Only HP. And coins. Coins are the only damn things that matter, and since you have to use stickers to earn them in battle anyway, isn't it more worthwhile to just not fight?

...I'm not even going to talk about a plot that isn't there.

The music is just... too much sloppy brass. The majority of the soundtrack pain me, and there are only a few I can stand.

Even the BONUS CONTENT was fucked up. Good job, Nintendo. So we get all the battle stickers in the museum and open up an enemy exhibition room, right...? Okay, so we go into the room, and it's a little binocular thing. Cool walk up to it, and... What? You have to pay a coin? YOU HAVE TO PAY A COIN TO SEE THE ENEMY INFO. This is so unnecessary it hurts. Whatever, we're in an enemy viewing room now, and... Well, this sucks. It's just the enemy hitting a fake mario and cycling through animations. No stats, no biographies, no names, no numbers.

...What was that clicking sound? Why am I not viewing enemies any more? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I HAVE TO PAY AGAIN.

...And many more. The entire game is pretty much NSMB with Paper Mario slapped over top of it. Seeing the next-gen Pokeys makes me sad.

It isn't entirely bad, of course. I'm only crying in a corner with how bad it is compared to all the other Mario RPG games. It just isn't for me.

EDIT: Oh gosh is that a foreign marketer above me? This also happened 3 times in the MSPAF Sticker Star thread.

I liked the game in the beginning, but then I lost interest because the sticker mechanic got old fast. ESPECIALLY WITH THE BOSSES. Pretty much each boss needs a specific sticker just to beat them, otherwise are too hard to get through. The only real part I liked were some specific levels, like the boo mansion level, and the level like a game show. Not what I expected and I am somewhat disappointed. I still have some fun with the game. The parts with paperizing has a couple of neat puzzles.
