Black Metal
Dark Ambient is a music genre that really has no lyrics. There's only sounds that give you atmosphere. I listen to this music whenever I'm alone to ponder about life and to let the negative energy melt away. If you're a fan of Dark Ambient, feel free to list your favorite bands and styles. If you're new to this, feel free to listen to the music below and tell me what you think. You may state your opinion but please don't try and start and argument. This topic is for all the fans to discuss the music and enjoy themselves. Discuss! ~NOiSE~
Fixed my vids~

Seriously though, I'm not a huge fan of the stuff you posted, but I do like ambient music if it develops into something with more structure, like Old Man Gloom: I also like a bit of drone, which is similar. Boris comes to mind.
Susie
That Levels of Social Self-Exile thing made me laugh and on topic, Dark Ambient I do like, I'll listen to it on the occasion, but when I listen to ambient I prefer the more sort of Aphex Twin/Brian Eno stuff. I haven't really gotten too much into Dark Ambient most likely because I haven't heard much from the genre.
Black Metal
I remember that level of social exile from this site. Except this one had another layer: At least you're a fan of Drone, which I really do enjoy listening to. I really enjoy post-metal though.
Susie
There's some more darker stuff on this album, figured I might as well leave it here

Susie
I agree with metal being only at level 2 since some of my best friends are metalheads are very social around me and other people. Hell, I blast up some hardcore music before my classes start and we all are chatting and having a good time while I play some metal music. And on that thing I'm a mixtre between levels 2-
Dismal Euphony
I listen to most of the aforementioned genres, even 3 of the 4 level 6 genres. I'm more of a "that guy" and "weird" though. Getting back to the actual topic, I really enjoy dark ambient from time to time. Axis of Perdition is one of my favorite bands to listen to when I'm walking at night time or looking for a really unsettling atmosphere at night. They're not really considered "dark ambient", but they have a lot of influences from such.

I'm with you on aforementioned genres I'm a huge fan of Old School EDM, IDM, and Ambient music I'm not too keen on Modern EDM, Progressive House, Electro or Dubstep. Though I like to listen to that stuff sometimes I mostly listen to dark ambient when I feel a necessary need for some dark atmosphere And since the album I posted got removed due to copyrights here's two of the songs from it:
