Morbid Manchester (UK)

Hi everyone,

I'm come back to these forums after making an account a few years ago. I've recently restored my nostalgia for the original Yu-Gi-Oh cards, along with other crafts and interests. While doing a photography GCSE at school, me and some friends have been able to fully explore steampunk culture (which I am currently building a deck upon), and, more relevant to this thread, destruction in buildings. While boosting my knowledge of Photoshop CS5 during the course, I took on a little project to save a crappy photo of an abandoned shop in Manchester (UK). Here are the results, with the original photo first. (The photos are linked as they are too large to upload)

I think you didn't tackle much of the apocalyptic look as much as you've done to the atmosphere. Surely feels morbid, but doesn't look like it. I suggest you manipulate the buildings into looking broken as if there was gun shooting or bombing, since obviously there will be rebillions.

Look at it from the conceptual side, thats what I really understood from IGCSE

Thanks. I do totally agree with this, and as hard as I tried, being able to destroy the building is still beyond my capability. What do you think? Would a title change be in order? :)
