"Reverie, you know yourself that most Grunts are inept. With a couple of notable exceptions, of course," Andrew strode deliberately and slowly around the room, letting his rich voice resonate like a song. "What I am interested in is why you want the girl. Our mutual friend Victor is a clever man, he understands how important the girl is to all our little gangs. He wants her dead, yes, but wouldn't she be so much more useful alive? Miss Takako and Miss Orion are both known for their short fuses, no doubt."
"Sir," Kari and Chris had got back from their search. "It's empty, nothing there." Chris blurted out, out of breath.
"We're sure of it, sir. Double-checked everything," chipped in Kari.
"Well, then, go and help out Ramona's crew outside," Andrew replied, gesturing for them to leave. "I'm sorry, Reverie, that we were so rudely interrupted. Victor wants more power, I take it? He doesn't want Rocket to bother him any more, not one bit. And while Sakura Takako is in the position she f***ed her way into, Rocket will continue to bother him, due to her unpleasant habit of trying to reach beyond her means. So..."

Andrew pulled up a chair and sat across it, pressing his fingertips together.
"I propose a simple deal. If I find the girl, which I may well do, I'll let you have her, on the condition you don't hurt her. And then you take out Sakura for me, using the girl as bait if necessary. As long as there is a sadist in charge of this organization, the pain will go on. I'll leave you to think on that, Mr. Reverie. I think I've been bothering you much too much today. Call me, please. Oh, and do tell Victor. He might find our deal attractive. But for now, I must go. It's getting a little late in the day and I'd like to wind down a little. Do excuse me, it was pleasant to see you again."
Andrew waltzed outside and ordered the remaining Grunts over. "Let's go. I have a home to commute to."
The Grunts, accompanied by Ramona, simply walked away, leaving behind the decimated Plasma Grunts, outnumbered and easily beaten in battle. Much to Andrew's relief, none of them were hurt. That was an order he made explicit when he was on a job.
"Go where you have to go, all of you. That was excellent work. Ramona, make sure they all get a notice of commendable fieldwork on their files."

Andrew and Ramona walked over to the jet, briskly and efficiently.
"Ramona dear, would you like to go for a drink sometime?" Andrew smiled.
"Yes, that would be nice," Ramona replied brusquely.
"How about a drink now, at my place?"
"I think that would be excellent," Ramona smiled back.
"Where to, sir?" the pilot asked.
"Humilau City. For the both of us."

Andrew smiled. Today was a good day.

Victor merely laughed as the children actually attempted to defeat him. He had to admit, they weren't as bad as he first thought; the Arcanine dodging his attack was testament to that. But still, they were but children. Teens that - while they may have had talent - the had nowhere near the experience or training to match him. And no control or awareness either, it appeared, as none of them picked up on the hint at his true identity.

He shrugged to himself and merely watched as the group tried to corner Murkrow; a double team surrounding the Darkness pokémon and a dual-attack of Fire Charge and Thunder fang riding the momentum of an Extremespeed. An impressive attack, and very well performed for a group that had only just met. But to no avail; for a tactic like that wouldn't work on such a Pokémon as Murkrow. The black pokémon just flew straight upwards, closing his eyes to avoid the glare of the bright sun. The attack of the two below merely passed by, and Murkrow turned and focussed upon the clones surrounding the field; opening his eyes to survey the battle.

"You forget that Murkrow is a bird." Victor lectured, sighing with a grin. "And bird's can fly. It's no use surrounding someone on the ground if they can go straight up."
Victor shrugged with a seemingly pitiful expression and nodded towards Murkrow, who proceeded to dive towards the circle of clones, riding a tailwind to increase his speed. As he approached the ground, he opened his wings for an Aerial ace, slicing through the circle of clones easily until he collided with the real Aipom, his speed securing a guarenteed hit on the pokémon. Something like a smile rose on Murkrow's face, as he turned his attention towards the two fire pokémon in the centre of the field. There was only one move in Murkrow's extensive Arsenal that would be super-effective on the two, but Mud-Slap was a weak attack. So Murkrow instead paused and hovered in mid-air, opening his mouth wide.

"Dark Pulse." Victor commanded, and Murkrow obeyed as a large beam of pure, solid black erupted from the birds mouth, aiming directly for Arcanine; being the most dangerous pokémon on the field.

Dark Pulse...and it was aimed right at Ace. Hayato looked at Ace, who was panting heavily, as he was still tired from the last battle. One more Extreme Speed is all he's got left...then I have to dodge on my own... he thought as he quickly called a command. "Ace, use Extreme Speed to dodge it and shoot a Fire Blast at the Murkrow!"

Ace nodded, as he quickly used one last Extreme Speed to end up on the Murkrow's left side, as he launched a powerful Fire Blast straight at the bird Pokemon.

"Yeah! That's got to be a direct hit!"

Both Etner and Lugia were both dumbfounded by all that had happened in such a short amount of time. Nonetheless, Etner shook out of his trance and prepared himself. He questioned whether or not he wanted to get involved with this battle, as the enemy seemed to be quite experienced. He saw the way that the Murkrow dodged all of the attacks, and he also noticed how powerful its attacks were. He could not just stand there and do nothing, though. His eyes glowed blow once again, and a strong breeze blew through the area.

"Come on out, Snorunt!"

As Etner spoke, he grabbed a Great Ball from his belt and threw it into the air. When it opened a small, Ice-type Pokemon appeared.
"Now is your time to shine, little guy. Jump up and use Frost Breath!"
He hoped that he had the element of surprise, and also hoped that his attack would provide a good cover for Arcanine's Fire Blast. Snorunt fired his attack directly above the fire blast, hoping to catch the Murkrow if it tried to escape.
"I sure hope this works.."

As Brutus walked around his weight room, he sighed. None of the other organizations had contacted Team Magma for help, and he was becoming quite bored. He looked over an his Infernape, Inferno, and smirked.
"Ready for a spar?"
Inferno just smirked back, but Brutus knew it was a yes. The two of them walked out of the weight room and into a large, steel room. The steel within this room was quite strange, as it reflects without distorting the reflected image. Basically, they were metal mirrors. The entire room was made of it too, even the floors. As the two walked in, the door shut behind them. They then made their way to the opposite sides of the room. Each bowed, and the battle commenced. Brutus took a stance and frowned at Inferno.
"You would think that with our destructive power, we would be called on more often.."

Brutus spoke as he started to deliver a barrage of punches toward Inferno, which it dodged fairly easily. Inferno, seeing that Brutus was a bit preoccupied, went in with an uppercut- a fire punch at that- and knocked Brutus flat on his ass. As he hit the floor, Brutus smiled. A couple of burn marks were visible on his chin now, but he had gotten used to the heat.
"Oh, I see how it is."

Brutus stood up, brushed himself off, and delivered an overwhelmingly strong right hook to Inferno's face. As he did, the Pokemon fell to the ground, bouncing his head off of the floor. Inferno got up fairly quickly, but was obviously injured; his right eye was now a bit blood-shot.
"See what happens when you get cocky?"

Brutus smiled and walked toward where the door in the room had once been. Once it opened, he and Inferno walked out of the room and headed toward the front of the Team Magma base in Lilycove City. They had remained in the cave there, but were hidden much better than they had once been. He and Inferno stopped at the front of the cave and smirked.
"There has to be something entertaining that I can do.."

Sakura sat thinking. There are tons of legendaries in the world, and they must all be drawn together somehow. This gave her an idea. She dialed Andrew's number.
"Andrew." She said. "I have a plan. So these kids must be connected somehow. So I'm thinking that we don't kill Kotomi yet. We can use her as bait to draw the other kids in. Maybe having them all in a place will draw the legends out of them, or even bring Arceus to us. My point is, don't kill the children. We can use them our way, if all goes well. And keep me informed on any happenings. Bye!" Sakura hung up then smirked.

Yukine Miyazawa sat outside her house. Her Luvdisc was swimming around in the ocean. Her Granbull laid down next to Yukine, resting his head on her. She breathed in the misty air and sighed. All she could think about was Naota, her brother who died when Pacifidlog Town was destroyed. She sighed again and stared at the activity at Cherrygrove Port.

"Heh, you always have to get the last word, don't you?"

Mallath chuckled to himself; Andrew sure knew how to hit his weakpoints. There was no way he was going to let someone die just because they were a victim of Pokemon Possession. In fact, even if Sakura was taken out, Kotomi's life might still be in danger; he was sure there were many people willing to kill for the promise of power.

He tossed around some ideas in his head as he climbed back out of the house, only to be met with his subordinates, lying on the ground. They weren't hurt, but they were soundly defeated. Frank, noticing Mallath walking over to him, sat up.

"Sorry Mallath, sir. We were destroyed." Frank's eyes were downcast, failing to meet Mallath's gaze.

"As far as I understand it, you were outnumbered," Mallath replied. Mana sat up at this point as well, though she too kept her eyes downward.

"But our performance was pitiful," Mana replied. Mallath frowned a little.

"Then think on what happened." Mallath said. "Learn what went wrong and how to overcome it. Now get up, we need..."

Before he could finish, Mallath's 'gear started to go off. Mallath was glad that it wasn't broken after all; getting the settings the way he liked it was a pain. "Mallath Reverie here," he said into the communications device.

"Mallath, just wanted you to update you on our progress. We are near completion; all we need is the DNA Splicers to finish our research." The voice was calm, but Mallath could hear cheers of joy in the background.

"That is good news," he replied. Mana and Frank were now standing, waiting for their next command. Mallath nodded and the three started walking down a nearby alleyway. "It sounds like you have something else to tell me."

"Indeed," the voice said. "Your Pokemon is now ready, waiting for you at Nimbasa at the usual location. I hope you will be pleased with it."

"I trust I will," Mallath replied, now smiling. Before, he would try his hardest to get by without using Pokemon at all. Of course, there are limits to the human ability. Human ingenuity, however, knew no bounds, and this Pokemon was proof of that.

With that call finished, Mallath pressed another button on his 'gear. "HQ, patch me in to the boss." Frank handed Mallath his civilian business outfit while he spoke. "I have some news for him."
