Sakura stared at Kotomi. "Are you going to answer me or stare at me with your mouth open?" she said. Her Gengar then proceeded to cackle, giving the air an eerie feeling. Kotomi stepped back, almost knocking into Sisiori. When Aaron stepped in between them, Kotomi turned around and started running. Sakura smirked. "Grunts!" she yelled. Five Rocket grunts who were watching the scene bolted towards Kotomi, each of them releasing a Zubat to attack. Sakura and her Gengar laughed.

"Aaron Lane..." she said. "I know who you are. I was with Giovanni when he made his trip to Sinnoh, remember? Look who's bumped up and taken over the entire company!" Sakura chuckled. "That girl is one of those damned Arceus kids. And, get this, Giovanni's seed. Giovanni already tried to kill her, I'm just finishing his dirty work. And I control Kanto and Johto. You have no business here." Sakura walked towards the grunts. Her Gengar stared at Aaron, then used Mean Look on him. He then followed Sakura.

Kotomi continued to run, five grunts and five Zubats following her trail. She turned onto Route 29 and ran into the trees. She stopped behind a tree and rested. The grunts kept walking closer to the tree. Kotomi gulped. She closed her eyes, buried her head into her hands, and whispered; "Help..." The grunts were just feet away from reaching Kotomi.

'Help? Here you go.'

Kotomi looked up with a very surprised look. Trees were popping up all around her, encasing her in a dome of trees. "Is anyone there?" Kotomi yelled. No answer. "I could of swore I heard someone said they were giving me help..." She looked at the dome of trees around her. "Did I do that?" she questioned. Kotomi shrugged and sat down, as she was clearly going to be there for awhile.

The grunts returned their Zubats and sulked back to Sakura. "Well were is she?" she asked. "Um..." one of the grunts said. "We got to her and then trees grew around her." Sakura crossed her arms. "Do you think I'm an idiot?" Sakura asked. "No, Miss Takako." Sakura stepped closer to the grunt. "Trees don't work that way." she said. "Next time you f*** up, I'll have your head on a platter." She stepped back as the grunt gulped. "Grunts. Back to the HQ. We'll revisit this when I get better grunts." The grunts nodded and started to walk back to the vehicle they used to get here. She turned to Aaron. "Why don't you go back to Sinnoh? And don't interfere with my antics." Sakura winked and then followed the grunts, and then they all left the town.

Bold move Verizion. But I would refrain from doing so for a while...we wouldnt want the humans to get suspicous. Now, where did those Rocket grunts head off to? Sisiori had pursued Kotomi and the Rocket grunts, and had seen the whole thing. The grunts unfortunately had left, but she was puzzled at the fact that Kotomi had a bunch of trees around her. "How the hell did you get yourself into this?" she muttered. She then picked a pokemon from her belt, and called her Lairon. "Lairon, get rid of these bothersome trees so I can see what the f*** just happened." Lairon obediantly ripped a nicely-sized hole in the trees and pulled Kotomi out and put her down in front of Sisiori. She looked a bit awed. "Will you please explain how the hell you suddenly have a buncha trees around you? Good lord girl."

Bothersome Orginizations. If only I was in my true form, I'd give them all a run for their money. Same as I did Cyrus back when he tried to control the Space-Time Guardians, along with the Pokemon of the Lakes.

Kotomi shrugged. "I-I don't know..." she muttered. "I heard someone tell me they were giving me help and then these damn trees popped up." Kotomi stood up and stepped out from the trees. "I need to get out of the region." she said wiping the dirt off her skirt. "That woman is going to kill me and she apparently has a good reason." She looked around the area. "Arceus damn it, I left my bag in town. I need to get that bag, heal my Pokemon, and get the hell out of here..." Kotomi bowed to Sisiori. "It was nice meeting you and that was a great battle." She then ran off towards New Bark Town.

Nicolette sat atop her Metagross enjoying the lovely scenery of the Hoenn region, it was amazing how peaceful it was even though the many nefarious teams had attacked them all. Well of course they had all gone after Johto and Kanto for some odd reason, but that made things easier for the rest of the regions Nicolette supposed. The few members she had seen were all grunts, and easily dispatched by Metagross' Flash Cannon. She had several times today tried to take with Cresselia, but since that day the Moon Light Pokemon had not spoken to her.

"Sweetheart, I need to speak with you," her father had said. "With all these teams sprouting up again, I'm not sure how safe you'll be here. You see I don't what there after, but your a very special girl, and they might try to hurt you. See when you were not born yet, Arceus appeared to me and your mother. He said that you held the power of the legendary Pokemon Cresselia.

"Really daddy, your tales are quite fantastical, but those stories don't fool me anymore." She had been so foolish at that moment, and that was when she appeared.

"No child, your father speaks the truth, look to your heart and you will know," Cresselia's voice had been smooth, like silk. It was then that she blacked out, and she opened her eyes to the most fantastical sight. She was on a small island, the water was beautiful, crystal clear as though it had never been touched, the island was covered in verdant emerald green grass, and the sky the way all the purples, blues, and blacks blended together she could've thought it to be out of a painting, the beautiful crescent moon in the center of it all. It was then Cresselia had approached her, "One moment child let me take a form, that is more familiar to you," Cresselia's kind voice drifted over to her, and Nicolette could only nod as Cresselia toke the form of a beautiful woman. "Now dear child, it is time you left your home, but that is the only decision I tell you you must make, because if you don't your journey may very well end before it even begins. Just remember I am always here for you, no matter what you do child."

Afterword Nicolette returned to her body from Cresselia's realm. It was then that Nicolette had known what she had to do, she had only nodded to her father, who smiled at her in his proud parently way. She had taken everything she might need, and left to where she didn't know, but that's what Cresselia wanted, and she felt she could trust Cresselia.

That had been a week ago, and since then Cresselia hadn't spoken... hadn't even shown a sign to even attempt to communicate with her. That was the least of her concerns at the moment though, first and foremost she was getting close to Slateport City. There she planned to charter a ship to get her to the Unova region. Nicolette had heard there was a nature reserve there, and she wanted to make sure it remained undamaged by the various teams.

"What's that Petrel?" Andrew answered the call, drumming his fingers on the desk, still shaken a little from his flashback.
"Yeah, boss, we've got intel on Plasma moving into Johto. They're heading into New Bark or Cherrygrove, it looks like," Petrel replied flatly, with the same lackadaisical, flat tone.
"Who exactly? Grunts? A Sage?" asked Andrew hurriedly, wiping the sweat from his clammy forehead.
"No. You've got the Royal Unova himself - Contribane's going it alone, boss. You want me to commission a jet by the Blackthorn airfield? It's the one closest to you. Besides, Proton unearthed something on the shipping trail. They found a key to a storage room in Olivine. It belonged to Strabo and some of his belongings were there. Nothing big, but there was a Pokemon there, still in its ball. We know he left all his stuff to you so I'll get it sent over."
"That's excellent, Petrel, thanks," said Andrew as he called his Pokemon back into their balls.
"I've just got my secretary to contact the airfield. The jet's being prepared as we speak," intoned Petrel. "Goodbye."

Andrew rushed out of his office and hailed a company car outside the building. He always had a perverse respect for Victor Contribane, mainly stemming from the fact that Contribane didn't have the thirst for blood that you saw so much in Leaders these days. Sakura and Marina Orion were both seriously screwed-up, sadistic individuals, although the former much less than the latter. Contribane was just in it for the profit. He liked power and he got what he wanted. He had old ties with Rocket, too, so there was a sense of respect for how gifted he was. He did, however, want to see those kids killed, and as Andrew remained sceptical about the existence of Arceus (or at least the nature of its powers), let alone the whole birth thing, he saw it as unpleasantly unnecessary. Victor was a charmer too, and Andrew respected how he got people on side so easily despite his bluntness. He mulled his thoughts over as he exited the car and strode over to the jet on West Blackthorn Airfield.

"Don't worry, sir. You'll land at the runway just off Route 29 in about twenty minutes," the chirpy pilot informed Andrew. "You'll catch Mr. Contribane in no time."
"That's good to know, sir," smiled Andrew. "If you fly well I'll give you a bonus."
"Oh yes sir, of course sir! Thank you sir!"

Sakura walked into the Rocket HQ, and as she did several grunts stopped and bowed. "Welcome back, Miss Takako!" "Hello, Miss Takako!" "Glad you're safe, Miss Takako!" several of the grunts said. Sakura walked into her office, which was very large. When she walked in, three grunts dressed as waiters turned to her. Two female grunts dressed as maids also turned to her. They all smiled and welcomed her back. "Thanks!" Sakura said. One of the waiters flipped on the big screen TV, which was big enough that it covered an entire wall. On the screen were live video of Kanto and Johto. Sakura dropped all her Pokeballs, causing her Haxorus, Donphan, Wigglytuff, and Lopunny to appear next to Gengar. Sakura then walked to her desk. Sitting on the desk were three Master Balls. Two were empty, and one held Giovanni's dear Mewtwo. Sakura pressed the button on it and Mewtwo was released. "Miss Takako." it said. "Welcome back."

"Thank you, Mewtwo." Sakura said. "How are you enjoying yourself?" she asked. "I'm ok. If it's not much trouble, I would like to return to my Pokeball." Sakura nodded and returned Mewtwo. She then sat down at her desk, and pressed a button on the phone sitting on the desk. "Andrew!" she said. "Has Contribane landed yet? Tell me when he's landed so I can watch him. We don't want him f***ing up Johto or Kanto. Oh and the damn grunt lost Kotomi. If you see her tell me right away."

"Ah, dear Sakura. It's a pleasure to speak to you once more," Andrew boomed in a smooth baritone, nursing his whiskey and smoking a cigar. "I was on my way to stop from hurting the poor girl, in actual fact. Contribane shall be covered. Aaron certainly saw her, he said she just bottled it and ran off into a clearing. If he sees her I'll get him to deliver her to us."
Andrew lowered his voice and softened it.
"I can understand why you want the girl dead, and I couldn't agree more. Let's remove her, quickly and painlessly. Farewell."

Andrew put the Pokegear down on the table in front of him and sunk his drink. Killing the girl? Nothing was further from his mind. He'd make sure Lake kept her safe. He had places she could go. He poured himself another drink, this time straight gin as he dialled Aaron.
"Lake, dear boy. I need you to do something for me."
"Haven't I done enough to placate you yet, Strephon?" sighed Aaron.
"Find that girl and send her away. I know of a place in the Sevii Archipelago. There's an old house on Outcast Island by Altering Cave. Charter a plane quietly. Get her there or she will die. She was lucky to escape with her life today."
"I can intercept her," replied Aaron. "She left her bag in Town. I'll pick her up and get her there. But that's it, Strephon. You do your work, I'll do mine. Sakura was right - you've got Kanto and Johto. Sinnoh is my business."
"That's fine, Lake, my good man. Just get this done without a hitch."

Aaron ran into the town to find Kotomi. She had just dropped her bag by those other kids. All he had to do was wait for her.

Sisiori arrived back in town, and noticed two boys. One was leaning against a tree with his head in his hands, and the other seemed to be helping him. She walked over and said to the boys; "My name is Sisiori. Tell me, have you ever heard of a bird Pokemon, with it's wings on fire, and plumes of flame on its head and tail?" I might be able to wrest some information out of these suckers. If they know about the burning bird, then maybe they know of my parents...

Sakura scoffed. "Painless? No. I want her to suffer. I want to hear her gasp for life. I want to do the honors."

Kotomi found her bag and ran into the Pokemon Center. "Hello!" Nurse Joy said. Kotomi bowed. "Do you need to have your Pokemon healed?" Kotomi nodded and handed her Azumarill's and Whimscott's Pokeballs. Nurse Joy took them and placed them on a silver tray, which a Blissey then took to the back of the center. "This will take about ten minutes. You can wait in the lobby." Kotomi nodded and when to go sit on the couch in the lobby. She pulled out her Pokegear and dialed a number. "Uh yes, I'm looking for a one way ticket to Unova... Yes... Ok.... Oh thank you! Goodbye." Kotomi stood up and started walking back to Nurse Joy, as the person on the phone told her to go to the nearest Pokemon Center to get her S.S. Ticket. "Hello, Joy. I need to pick up an S.S. Ticket." Kotomi said. Nurse Joy handed it to her. "It printed right away. And your Pokemon finished early." Kotomi took the ticket and her Pokemon back. "We hope to see you again." Nurse Joy said as Kotomi left.

Kotomi had her bag, her ticket, and her Pokemon. She started to leave the town when she saw Aaron Lake searching the town, probably for her. Kotomi, not willing to trust anyone right now, dashed into the forest. "All I have to do is reach the port in Cherrygrove..." she said. The forest was dark, yet it broad daylight. She continued to walk until she came out of the forest behind the Pokemon Center in Cherrygrove. The town grew a lot, causing a port and department building to built there. Kotomi dashed to port and handed her ticket in. She boarded the boat, and sailed to Unova.

Some time later, Kotomi was now on the train in Nimbasa City, heading to her home in Anville Town. The train ride was short, or maybe she was just used to it. She unboarded and trudged home. She went inside, locked the door, and dropped everything. Her Azumarill, Whimsicott, Flaaffy, and Pichu came out of their Pokeballs and walked throughout the house. Kotomi took her jacket off, and then sat in her chair. She picked up a book sitting on an end table, then turned on a lamp. She opened the book and got lost in the story...

The helicopter was flying low now, close enough to the canopies of route 29 that the breeze produced by its rotors actually moved the leaves, and it merely skirted above the forest. Espeon leapt down from Victor's lap as the forests thinned out, and Victor prepared himself to exit the helicopter. Murkrow was more alert, staring intently at the windows, glaring at any Hoothoots or Noctowls to look at them. The tall apartment blocks grew ever closer, and the roof of the Pokémon centre was now visible as the trees thinned out. A small clearing appeared below them, just short of the Cherrygrove city entrance, and the Helicopter slowed as it neared the gap.

As the machine landed, Victor rose from his seat and brushed his suit down, patting his left breast pocket so as to make sure his gun was still easily accessible. The Helicopter touched down softly, the sign of a good pilot, and Victor handed him a small handful of poké$, rounding to around 500P$. The pilot gave an emotionless nod of gratitude to his superior as the Plasma boss exited the Helicopter, touching the ground softly with his leather Oxfords. He took a quick glance around him, and react calmly with an outstretched hand as a man jogged lightly towards him, his pace slowing as he approached his boss.

"Any news?" Victor asked his subordinate as Espeon jumped out of the Helicopter and paced slowly towards her master, leaning herself against his legs. Murkrow followed suit, jumping from his seat and gliding softly towards Victor, where he perched himself, once again upon the soft, black shoulder, cawing softly before ruffling around his feathers.

The man took the hand graciously, and bowed his head in respect. "Yes sir." The man said, with confidence that suggested he wasn't an ordinary grunt, but infact a trusted member of Plasma. And indeed he was, as he uniform obviously suggested. A member of the Shadow Triad; though it had now ground into a complete section of Plasma, a large underground group directly under the control of Victor. This man was merely one of the 30-or-so members of Plasma's Shadows, a scout for Victor's personal use.

"Rocket's movements have been...unusual." The scout continued, raising his head; he came to about 5'8 in height, and had a rather lithe figure. Small bangs of blond hair emerged from underneath his mask, framing the eyes; the only things visible. "It seems no-one suspected the arrival of your Helicopter; it was pretty much unnoticed by the Rocket Leader and her men." He explained, pausing as the Helicopter pilot decided to take off, his voice being made inaudible by the engine and rotor noice. The two men merely watched the Helicopter get a suitable distance away before the scout spoke up again.

"In fact, Sakura has already left. She had been in New Bark, approaching a confirmed Arceus child herself." The scout explained, motioning towards the deeper forest. "Having lost the Child, she proceeded to return to her base. It seems as if you've managed to avoid detection, Mr Contribane."

Victor merely sighed and rubbed his temple for a moment. "The whole point of my visit was to speak with Ms Takako." Victor muttered, before realising that his scout had mentioned the 'Children of Arceus'. "You said that these Children were confirmed here?" Victor asked, glancing at the surrounding forest.

The scout nodded. "Yes, at least one has been confirmed, though many teens of the appropriate age were in the same area. Ms Takako seemed to lose the confirmed Child, though that was merely due to Grunt ineptitude." He added, his last words filled with a confidence and pride that Victor almost chuckled at, despite it showing a lapse in training. "I have had a car prepared, anticipating your wish to track these children. It is on the road just to the north." The scout added, motioning behind him. Victor nodded his appreciation, and allowed this man to lead him in the direction of his vehicle.

A few seconds later, and he was seated comfortably in a small limo, Espeon once again draped across his lap and Murkrow perched beside him. The scout sat across from him, and a tanned man sat behind the steering wheel, uttering not a word at the arrival of the richest man in Unova. The Scout had removed a thin, black laptop with the Plasma logo emblazened on its back from underneath his seat, and was rapidly typing what appeared to be random keys, but in reality he had been hacking into the local CCTV around New Bark town; all but the Rocket specialized cameras. They appeared to be very well secured.

"As you can see, Sir, the children are grouped around the outskirts of New Bark town." The Scout said, pivoting his laptop so that Victor had a clear view. "The one confirmed child is this one." The Scout pointed to a girl with long, dark blue hair. "A girl by the name of Kotomi Ichinose. After a little bit of research, I discovered the she is...." The scout started, but was cut off as Victor started to speak.

"...The Daughter of Giovanni." Victor stated, clearly, and he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small black memory stick. "I used to work for Rocket, back in my junior years." Victor reminded the scout, as he lifted the Laptop over to his own knees, causing Espeon to move to the seat next to Victor, glaring venomously at the scout. "I aquired much data from my years as a Rocket member, and one of the things that stood out was..." he started, pressing a few buttons and slowly turning the Laptop around for the scout to see.

It showed a fully documented profile on Kotomi, included a description of her appearance throughout her younger years, a full psychological profile, many intelligence test results, and a small description of unusual reports surrounding her, the few scant stories of her manipulating the plants around her. "....this. It appears as if Giovanni cared more for his daughter than she realised - well, about the Legendary inside her at any rate. I believe he may have kept scouts following her every move until he died." Victor explained, before turning the Laptop back to face him. He quickly scanned the small stories at the bottom of the document and the signature - the infamous signature of Giovanni - before closing the document and removing the memory stick, dropping it back into his pocket; the screen returning to a view of the many CCTV cameras dotting around New Bark Town.

"From the stories that sheet tells us, we can deduce that she has some form of Grass manipulating Legendary inside her." Victor explained, leaning back in his chair as the scout pulled the laptop back into his possession, focussing on the movements of the 5(?) teens. "However, that leaves us with 3 legends to decide between, three powerful legends." Victor muttered, musing over the 3 legends he had to choose between. Virizion, Shaymin or Celebi. Personally, he would prefer it not to be Celebi. A time-manipulating child would not be an ideal thing to deal with. Shaymin was reknowned for being normally timid and docile, and Virizion was the weakest of the three; albeit the most aggressive.

As the approached the outskirts of New Bark Town, the limosine pulled over and the scout exited, holding the door for Victor to leave. As they both left the car, it sped off into the town to find a place to park, while the scout led Victor towards the area that the CCTV had said the children had last been. Sure enough, the shadow spotted the small group of kids, and suddenly vanished, putting his Shadow training into practice as he found a good lookout point; at which point he summoned an Absol to prepare for any sudden movements.

Victor, meanwhile, walking calmly and briskly into the clearing, coming face to face with the collective of children; though he was only aware of one Arceus Child. Murkrow was once again perched on his left shoulder, staring greedily about for Kotomi, while Espeon sat herself down beside Victor, resting her head on her front paws, watching the children through one open eye.
"Greetings, young ones." Victor declared, his right hand itching to draw the gun in his breast pocket, though he managed to control instinct and relax his arm by his side. "I would like to speak with Kotomi Ichinose, if that's okay? She and I have important business, I believe."

"Welcome back. You've got new orders."

Being in Team Plasma offered many perks. Currently, Mallath was utilizing one of them, flying first class in a private cabin. Victor Contribane sure had a way with money that made this all possible. His mind is well-trained, and that was something Mallath respected. One Plasma member handed him a folder; apparently someone wanted to get his orders in as soon as possible. Mallath sighed and shook his head. He knew there were members who were envious of his position at HQ. The fact that he is often given orders on the field is proof enough. Mallath did not mind at all; it made him more efficient.

"Johto... I see," he mused to himself as he read through the cover page inside the folder. The other pages held information about these children with the lost legendary Pokemon dwelling within them. Or so the story goes. He flipped through them during the rest of the ride, until his concentration was broken by an announcement over the loudspeaker.

"Ladies and Gentlemen," the pilot; or someone Mallath assumed to be the pilot "We regret to inform you that severe weather will delay our flight. As your safety is our number one concern, we will be landing at the airport until the storm has passed. We apologize for your inconvenience..."

"...frustrating," Mallath said to no one in particular. "So, what is the fastest way to Johto from here?" he asked the grunt who originally handed him his new orders. "I'm afraid I am not familiar with this part of Unova."

"You can rent one of the flying-type Pokemon at the Pokemon Center. They should be able to get you to Castelia where you can travel by ship," he replied.

Mallath sat silent for a moment, rubbing his chin in contemplation, before speaking again. "What is the second fastest way to Johto?"

"Uhmm..." the grunt stammered for a moment, before replying. "You can take the train, I think? You'll have to switch at Anville, but that will get you most of the way."

"Perfect," Mallath replied, placing the files into his briefcase. Outside, he could see the storm clouds in the distance as the plane touched down. Mallath stood up, with the other people in the cabin following his example. Contrary to what it seemed, everyone in the cabin was a Plasma member.

"Mana, Frank, you're with me." Mallath said as he walked down the center of the Cabin. "The rest of you, find your way to our meeting point in Johto." A man and a woman followed Mallath out of the cabin, and after a few minutes, the rest of the Grunts followed suit...
The ride to Anville was uneventful; it went by quickly, and although the weather was bad, most of the trip was spent in a mountain passage carved out for the train. As Mallath and his two subordinates exited the train, all one would see was three business-types travelling together. Mallath was not really comfortable wearing a suit; his standard outfit was more his style. Mana and Frank were definately at home in the business attire, though. Mallath didn't really complain, though; since he is legally a part of the company he's pretending to be in, staying discreet becomes very simple.

The transfer was supposed to be quick. A 10 minute wait for the new train to arrive, and Mallath and his entourage would be on their way to Nimbasa. There was someone who caught Mallath's eye, however.

As far as he could tell, that was Kotomi Ichinose, one of the kids who were cursed with a Legendary Pokemon dwelling inside their bodies as per the reports given to him. Of course, the reports also said that while this was her home, she was not here in Anville. And yet here she was. She seemed off somehow.

"Trail her." Mallath said. Mana and Frank nodded as the seperated from Mallath to follow Kotomi, who was headed to her home. Mallath, on the other hand, pulled out his 'gear and called HQ.

"Mallath Reverie reporting. I will be delayed; I have identified a VIP in Anville Town: Kotomi Ichinose."
"Cut all communications from this home and watch the exits." Mallath spoke into his 'gear. He was speaking with Mana and Frank, and while he could not see them, he knew they were doing their jobs. Mallath himself was once again wearing his Team Plasma outfit; though without the flashy cloak this time. He found himself in front of a window which slid open with a little work; the toughest part was doing so without being noticed by passerby. He was no Shadow Triad, but Mallath could sneak around if he wanted to; sometimes dealing with wild Pokemon required subterfuge, after all. The window finally opened, and Mallath climbed in, ending up just one room away from his target. Peering through the doorway, he could see Kotomi absorbed in a book of some sort. Mallath smiled. This was going to be easy.

Andrew drummed his fingers as he sipped his drink. Finished, again. He took a drag of his cigar before staring down the Grunt opposite him in the cabin.
"How many drinks have I had?" Andrew asked, half-smiling lazily as he poured himself another. Whiskey, this time.
"Seven, sir. Two gins and five whiskeys," the Grunt stared at him and said softly.
"You're an attentive person. That's a good quality to have. How is your train-"
The Pokegear in Andrew's pocket beeped loudly and he scrambled to reach it.
"Aaron. What's happening?"
"I'm sorry. The girl...she got away. I saw her and tried to follow her but she ran off before I could say anything. I'm...so sorry, Strephon, so sorry."
Andrew stared out the window of the jet, watching the clouds go by with a flat, defeated look on his face. His expression withered.
"Well...do you have anything about her we can go on? Where did she go? Please, Lake, please!"

Aaron Lake was sat down in a café opposite the Pokemon Center in New Bark, desperately thinking of a response. Galatic didn't keep a dossier on the girl, so what-
"Sui...sui...cune." Aaron was suddenly transported to a different place. He could see through the eyes of a Pokemon, running across the sea. It flew across the sea like the north wind, bounding and dancing. It reached land after a little while, he could see a town full of trains. Then he felt himself speak almost unconsciously, a medium for an ethereal voice.
"Anville Town. Kotomi Ichinose is in Anville Town."
"How did you know that? Oh Lake, you have done a great thing. Thank you, thank you." Andrew gushed in relief, hanging up quickly. Aaron just sat, stock-still, shocked at what had happened.

"Pilot! Can you hear me!" Andrew roared.
"Yes sir, of course, sir. I can hear you. What do you want?"
"Change of plan, we're going to Anville Town, you hear me?"
"Consider it done, sir."
Andrew then turned to the Grunt attaché sitting opposite him.
"We need to intercept a target, considered armed and dangerous. I want a squad of several skilled Grunts at the site when we get there. And get me the Pokemon Strabo left to me. Contact people, make it happen. I'm stressed as hell here."

While Kotomi did not notice Mallath jumping through the window, her Flaaffy and Pichu did. They both jumped on the strange man, crying loudly. Kotomi dropped her book and ran over to see what was wrong. She was, of course, surprised to see the Pokemon attacking a random man. That is until she saw the Plasma logo printed on his clothing. Kotomi gasped and returned her Azumarill and Whimsicott.

"Pichu, Flaaffy, Thundershock!" Kotomi yelled. The two electric type Pokemon glowed yellow and sent thousands of volts through the man's body. Kotomi then returned Flaaffy and Pichu. She booked it for the back door of the house. She ran outside and dashed into the woods by Anville.

'Can't have him chasing her...' Virizion said to herself. Then a potted plant, conveniently sitting next to the window where Mallath got in, fell over and the root grew around Mallath's limbs. 'That should hold him for five minutes...'

-

Meanwhile, Sakura had just got word of the other organizations chasing after Kotomi. Sakura, clearly, was pissed. She picked up her PokeGear and dialed Victor's number.

"You sneaky bastard." she yelled. "Don't touch that girl. I want her. I want to- no... I will be the one who kills her. I don't want you or your damned followers to interfere with my plan. I must revenge Giovanni." She hung up in a haste, then dialed Andrew's number.

"Andrew, hun?" Sakura said. "If you're sending anyone to get that girl, bring her to me. Don't even harm her. I want all the pain to happen in front of me."

Kotomi had been running for five minutes now. She had her mind made up. If she could run to Mistralton City then she could catch a plane to the Orre region. From there she'll rush to Pyrite Town and seek shelter in "The Under" which was hollowed out again by teenagers in the area. Kotomi knew of this from when she lived in Orre with her grandparents. Her neighbor and her would visit the new Under every weekend, and to make it better, no adults knew about it. So it was the perfect hiding spot. But the hard part was finding out if the kids will let her in, as she is now 19 years old, which is a legal adult. She shrugged and kept running.

Her efforts paid off. She was about to keel over and faint when she reached Mistralton. She walked to the gym, which now functioned as an airport too, and hopped on the next plane to Orre. The plane was empty, besides Kotomi and two other men. Nobody traveled to Orre anymore, which is strange because Orre is very peaceful now. Team Snagem and Cipher both disbanded years ago, and no other organization even bothered to go to Orre because of it's reputation, plus it was so far away from all the other regions, even farther than Unova. Orre was known for being a dirty region full of crooks, which was true when Snagem and Cipher were battling to take over. It was now very calm and peaceful, which Kotomi liked.

Her plane ride was enjoyable and went by fast. She landed in Gateon Port, then took a bus to Pyrite. She then walked behind the newly built Pokemon Center and trudge up a small path. This path led to an elevator that went down. Two 16 year old boys and their Machokes stood in front of it. One of then gave Kotomi a look.

"How old are ya'?" he said. "I'm 19." Kotomi said. "But I used to come here all the time before I moved." she added quickly. The boy scoffed. "But you ain't our age." he laughed. The other boy shrugged. "C'mon man. She's trustworthy. I've seen her before." he said, then opened the elevator. The other boy crossed his arms and mumbled; "Fine.."

Kotomi stepped into the elevator and faced the boys. "Have fun!" one said, then he pressed a couple buttons, causing the elevator to descend into the Under, only to be greeted by a very slim Rocket spy and his Raichu. The Raichu used Thunder Wave on Kotomi as soon as they meet eyes. Kotomi stood still, as she was now paralyzed and couldn't move. The Rocket member handcuffed her and then proceeded back up the elevator, dragging her with him.

He dragged her to a small speed boat sitting in the ocean, which he tossed her into. He got in and sped off into the direction of Johto. He reached the Cherrygrove port where he dragged Kotomi out of the boat and made her stand up straight. He looked around to see if anyone was looking, then started to drag her through the backroads of the town, up to Route 29.

"And we have touchdown, Mr. Swithin. Thank you for flying Rocket Airways!" grinned the pilot.
"Yes, yes, you did your job, here's your bonus. Just take it and be on your way," Andrew rolled his eyes dramatically and handed the pilot a lump of cash. "Now, Grunt, what's your name? Just calling you 'Grunt' sounds so unpleasant."
The Rocket Grunt, dressed in a business suit, smiled amicably at him, although she adopted a businesslike tone. "Ramona, sir."
"Darling, thank you. Ramona, I'm off to the place where the girl is. I'm going to get out of this plane and walk towards her house. I want Strabo's Pokemon and that squad by the time I step out of this airfield and into town. Got it?"
"I'll accompany the squad, sir," Ramona replied.
"Oh, and be careful. I don't like losing the pretty ones," Andrew winked at her before stepping out of the plane. Much to his amusement, she winked back.

Andrew's brusque had got him what he wanted - a group of five Grunts, each Rank 2 Trainers and Ramona, a Rank 1 Trainer on the fast track for an Admin post.
"It appears I shall be your attaché from now on, Mr. Swithin," Ramona smiled as they walked briskly towards the suspect's house, noticing a small group of Plasma Grunts outside it.
"Oh do please call me Andrew, madam," Andrew replied.
"How about Strephon?" Ramona smiled wryly.
"Maybe if you're lucky..." Andrew was quite enjoying this. "What about Strabo's Pokemon? Might I inquire as to its whereabouts?"
"Here, sir. Had it sent over on express-transfer. It's a Hydreigon, apparently. Knows Dragon Pulse, Dark Pulse, Fly...I'll let you work it out. It's a boy."
"I ought to call him Strabo, for old times sake," Andrew face fell a little and his eyes were wistful.

"Hold it! Stop there!" Andrew hissed, the gaggle of Grunts surrounding him. "Listen. There appears to be a cock-up. It's sounds like Mallath in there. Ramona, take three men and deal with the Plasma Grunts. You two..."
"I'm Chris, this is Karina," Chris the Grunt replied, Karina waving back.
"You two follow me in and we'll deal with Mallath and our target. If she's still there."
Ramona and her three guys charged towards them in a fury, sending out their Pokemon. A good enough diversion had been created.
"Okay Kari and Chris, let's move in. Go!" Andrew cried, sending out his Pokemon. "Come on out Sylvester!"
Sylvester the Exeggutor bounded in front of the pack, charging through the window.
"Kari, Chris - you go and check the house for our target. Why Mallath, you appear to be in something of a pickle?"

Feh. Details.

"Yeah, I felt like that for a couple seconds. You said something weird...something about a Guardian of the Reverse World or something." Eki felt odd. He felt as if he should know this person, even though he'd never seen anyone like this guy in his entire life. He shook his head to clear it.

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Hehe, very well, I'll conclude our chat here. Entei said, as he finally went silent.

"I did? Don't really remember myself saying it..." Hayato said, as he let go of his head, finally feeling a bit better. Then he heard Sisiori's question as she proposed it to them. "A bird Pokemon like that...I-I'm sorry I'm not entirely sure on one like that...sounds sort of cool though." he said, smiling nervously. In truth, Hayato felt like he did know a Pokemon like that...but its impossible. He didn't remember stories of one or ever seeing one like that...he just felt...odd.

Sisiori then noticed a man step up to them and ask something about a girl. She could tell it was about Kotomi, and also felt that this guy was bad news. So she devised a solution. "Tell you what big guy, you beat me, and I'll tell you. I beat you, and you scurry on off." She was quite sure he would never be able to beat her, as she had barely scratched the surface with her pokemon. "Whaddya say?"

///////////////////////////////////////////////////\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

"That bird you talked about sounds like a Legendary Pokemon. I mean, I know they dont really exist, but there was this legend of three legendary bird pokemon, each of a different element. I can only remember one name though, Articuno. And that was the Bird of Ice." Eki tried to remember the name of the Bird of Fire, but couldnt. As the Team Plasma mook stepped up, Eki instantly went on guard. This guy is a member of Team Plasma...better be careful. When Sisiori challenged the guy, Eki stood up and said; "Wait. This guy is a member of Team Plasma...and he looks like an important one. We should tag against him." Eki fingered his Puppeteer. He was convinced he could win this. As he became more dedicated to the thought of battle, you could just make out tendrils of shadow coming out of his body. His eyes changed, got darker, and had a bit of a red glow. "Try and beat us...together..." Eki sounded different...his voice had turned all silky, and dark....

As Sisiori started talking to Victor, the Rocket spy was dragging Kotomi through the nearby forest. The spy wasn't the brightest and didn't realize that anyone on Route 29 could see them through the brush. The Rocket spy dropped Kotomi and keeled over.

"Arceus damn..." he said, then gasped for air. "That's a workout..." Kotomi's face grew sour, and then surprised because the paralization was wearing off. She grunted and then tried to move. The spy, shocked to see her moving, jumped onto her, causing both of them to roll out into the open. Kotomi couldn't do anything because she was handcuffed, so she stopped resisting and sighed. "If you're kidnapping me, you could of at least been a little better at it." she said. "Knocking me put with a Raichu and then dragging me to Johto. Come on." The spy glared at her.

Victor sighed as one of the Children - a girl with bright red hair that contrasted strangely with her blue eyes - stepped up, challenging him to a fight. She seemed confident in herself, much too confident, and obviously had no idea who he was. It was better that way, Victor guessed, as they didn't run the moment they saw him, and it provided him with something to pass the time. But his hand did twitch slightly; it was tempting to just pulling the gun from inside his jacket and shoot the girl, but where would the profit be in that? He could do it easily; she could be dead with a single movement of the hand, but there would be no point. He'd get no information from her then.

He sighed and reached up to pet his Murkrow, who crooned slightly, before moving to speak. But he was once again interupted. Such excitable children! So raring to battle; so blissfully unaware of their actions and so uneducated about what the smartest course of action would be. At there age, he was already a high ranking member of Team Rocket, plans formulating in his mind for the conquest of specific groups, and profit was already his main agenda. These kids, they were just having a laugh, messing around, being teens.

The boy who had interrupted him was obviously more perceptive, but again knew not of Victor's true identity. But he was successful in identifying him as a high ranking member of Team Plasma, and that showed some modicum of intelligence; at least, for a hormonal teen. Victor merely shook his head and sighed as the boy showed himself to be somewhat hesitant, suggesting a tag battle to face him, rather than merely one on one. A quick nod towards the battlefield while he looked at Murkrow caused the Black crow's eyes to roll, before he leapt off of his master's shoulder and glided gracefully towards the ground, landing without even a puff of dust. Espeon shook her head and closed her eyes, attempting to get some rest.

"You'd best join in too, if you aren't willing to tell me what I need to know." Victor called to Hayato, irritated that this was going to take so long. "They'd have no hope defeating Murkrow with just the two of them, with 3 people you'd reach the whole numbers in terms of percentage chance to win. 1%" He joked, receiving a light-hearted chuckle from the Murkrow, who was obviously not taking it seriously. And why would he. He wasn't an ordinary murkrow, he was the murkrow of the Team Plasma Boss; a Murkrow that could take on pretty much any Honchkrow he met and win; a murkrow that could take on the pokémon of an Elite four. 3 kids weren't going to scare him.

Hayato was a bit nervous about seeing this Team Plasma grunt in front of him, but he felt like he could take him...actually that made 2 of him. He smirked, as his eyes had flames within them once again. "Sorry to say numbnuts, but you and Polly right there are no match for me and my Arcanine!" he said, his voice beginning to have a low gruff growl with it. He grabbed Ace's Pokeball, as he tossed it in the air before catching it in his hand. "So unless you want to run crying home to your boss on how you lost, you may want to give up now!" Hayato said, his voice now integrated with Entei's, though not much...so they couldn't tell much.

Victor chuckled as the third child took his place in the battle, making this a three on one team up. But still, not much of a challenge in Victor's opinion. Perhaps he was underestimating these children some what, but he was still the most powerful person in Unova, and headed one of the top Criminal organisations in the world; and had been training his pokémon for about 30 years. They were tougher than they looked, and they looked exceptionally tough.

Murkrow obviously knew that, and as the Sunny Day took effect he merely sat there, in the middle of the battlefield, grooming his feathers. A single beady eye watched his opponents organise themselves, and merely chuckled to himself as the collective of pokémon launched their first wave of attacks. Murkrow relished in the sunlight though, his feathers glinting coldly in the bright light, and his vanity just made him more powerful and confident. As the Aipom approached, it's tail ready to slam, Murkrow merely side-stepped, causing Aipom's giant tail-hand to merely hit the ground, causing a cloud of dust to rise from the ground. Murkrow burst out of this cloud at an impressive speed, merely dodging around the fire balls shot by the Simisear.

"Murkrow..." Victor muttered, rather half-heartedly, and Murkrow merely nodded back, then purposely flew itself into the course of one of the Will o' Wisp fireballs, one it could've easily avoided. While wrapped in the wreath of fire, it started to charge at Simisear, while Victor called out, "Facade," the command heard easily by the bird. The double strength of the Facade would have caused a lot of damage if it made contact, but Victor didn't bother to pay attention, instead calling out "Psycho Shift." At this command, Murkrow's eyes grew white, and so did Simisear's. And as Murkrow flew away, only slightly harmed by the burn, the fire was now affecting Simisear, for the condition had been transferred.

"You act as if I have a boss." Victor called out, grinning to himself as Hayato started to brag about the strength of his Arcanine. "Y'know, I once knew a guy with an Arcanine, back in my Team Magma days. He got in my way..." He started, as if reminiscing. He'd certainly become more aggressive now that the fight had started, though this seemed to be more of entertaining himself with the children's reactions rather than any insanity on his part. "...the poor growlithe pups; they were Orphans within a few minutes, after this same Murkrow was done with that Admin." Victor chuckled, returning his attention to the battle.

"Let's see if your Arcanine can survive longer than the 5 minute record set by that one. Shadow ball!" Victor ordered, and Murkrow obeyed by firing a quick succession of black blobs from his mouth, afterwards grinning as he too remembered his killing of an enemy Arcanine.

"Well Ace is different from all others! ACE! SHOWTIME!" Hayato yelled as he tossed the Pokeball up in the air, letting his Arcanine appear on the ground. His eyes were now blazing as he smirked a bit more. "A Shadow Ball? Don't think so. Ace, dodge it by using Extreme Speed!"

Pokemon B/W OST - Battle! Vs. Team Plasma

Ace barked in agreement as he used Extreme Speed to swiftly dodge the Shadow Ball, appearing on the Murkrow's left side. "Now, send him packing with another Extreme Speed combined with a Thunder Fang!" Hayato snapped his fingers, his eyes blazing with excitement. Ace used another Extreme Speed as he rushed toward the Murkrow, his muzzle filling with electricity, closing in on his target to strike him with the Thunder Fang.

Thundershock, damn...

Mallath has no idea how he does it. He had been hit with this attack many times throughout his life. He could grudgingly accept it when a Pokemon does it to him, as a self-defense mechanism, but when a human gives the commands? That stuff's dangerous! Mallath's just glad his body is used to the punishment.

His fortitude does not help his situation, however. Once the electric attacks ceased, something started to entangle his legs - some sort of plant life. He could not see any grass-type Pokemon... only a strangest potted plant he has seen in his life. It seemed like a hassle, and Kotomi was running off... somewhere, so instead he contacted his subordinates using his 'gear.

"Mana, Frank... The target has escaped through what seems to be the back door" He waited for a response. None came. Either his 'gear was indeed fried in the attack... or Mana and Frank are dealing with some sort of trouble. In either case, Mallath needed to act.

Heaving his legs, he was able to pull the plant off the windowsill, breaking its vase and helping to make the overgrowth easier to pull himself out of. The noise must have gave his position away, as a large Exeggutor came flying through the window afterwards. No normal human would have a reason to do such a thing which meant...
"Kari, Chris - you go and check the house for our target. Why Mallath, you appear to be in something of a pickle?"
"...Andrew Swithin," Mallath said, cracking a faint smile. "If you are looking for who I think you are," he continued, pulling the rest of the plantlife off of his legs, "don't bother. She has already escaped." Glancing out the window, he saw that Frank was involved in a Pokemon battle with another, using his Sableye to fight. "Unfortunately, I do not know where she went, either," Mallath said, turning back to Andrew. "My subordinates would be tracking her, but they seemed to be dealing with another problem. You wouldn't know anything about that, would you?"

Andrew Swithin, the second-in-command of Rocket, intrigued Mallath. At first glance it looked like the two of them would had fit better in the opposite team, but that was not the case. At the very least, Mallath doesn't figure Andrew the type of man to let his temper flare easily and pick fights thoughtlessly, so he should not be in any immediate danger, at least.

(OOC: Gonna piggyback on that Extremespeed...literally)
Sisiori, seeing an oppertunity, commanded Simisear to jump on Ace's back as he used Extremespeed, and to follow up with Fire Charge. So Murkrow had lightning and fire heading towards him. Brilliant. This should put a swift end to the Murkrow....but I need Eki to flank him. Sisiori nudged Eki and whispered quickly in his ear to flank the Murkrow.

//////////////////////////////////////////\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Eki watched with a controlled coolness as Puppeteer's move got foiled. When Sisiori whispered her idea into his ear, he nodded ever so slightly, and flicked his fingers at Puppeteer. Understanding immidiatly, Puppeteer used Double Team, and suddenly there were around 15 Aipoms surrounding Murkrow. Yesss....good job, my child. You are the Puppet Master...controlling these pokemon from behind the scenes...ha ha......
