But anyways I like Green Day from Dookie - 21st Century Breakdown. Some of my favorites are Basketcase, Brain Stew, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, and Before The Lobotomy. American Idiot was a blip on the radar where their stuff overall spiked after a decline with the previous album, but have been going downhill for ages. Anything after that are nothing but pure sad and pathetic. Also the outburst Billy Joe had on Iheartradio tour was really sad and shows that Green Day should just retire. gimmepie Posted November 25, 2012 Report Share Posted November 25, 2012 I have heard little of their new stuff, from hearing "Oh Love" I'm thinking I'm not going to be a fan. Up to 21st Century Breakdown I have really enjoyed though, I also agree that they peaked at American Idiot. My favourite song of theirs is Boulevard of Broken Dreams but Give Me Novacaine and 21 Guns are close.
