Several Years to Long...

Hey, I was here around late 2008-early 2009, but I just lost track of time. Its so different here. Can someone help me around the RP's? I use to be decent but its been so long that I kinda forgot how create a good app, I spent close to four hours just writing an appearance description that isnt all that great. And dont direct me to the character creating thread, cause that didnt help me much.

Yay, more people and new people for the RP Section!

[b]I usually start by talking about my character's most prominent features, then facial features:[/b] People who see Pinocchio instantly notice his long nose and hard but fine and doll-like features, he looks as if he were carved from wood. His ocean blue eyes are unusually big and full of life, they are keen and reflective and reflect his curiosity and eagerness for adventure. Pinocchio also has a small mouth, despite the awfully great amount of talking he does. His ears, however, flap out and are great for taking things in when he goes off on an epic quest of his imagining and his dark chestnut hair seems to fly in the wind when he takes off his hat
[b]Then, I go on about a character's build:[/b] But, despite his heroic notions, Pinocchio is very short and thin, much thinner than most people of his age, due to starvation and malnourishment rather than an odd metabolism and because of such he has little flesh or muscle on his small bones.
[b]Other/the rest of body description:[/b] His oak blood gives his skin a rather tanned tone and he does not fit in very well here in the north (say the story takes place at an Siberian haunted fortress).
[b]Clothing comes last:[/b] Pinnochio's daily clothes consist of a dull, slightly dusty red overalls over his light yellow long-sleeved shirt. He wears a large, rather ridiculous-looking bow tie, a black vest and white gloves. His hat is made of a dull yellow material and he put a red cardinal feather in, tied to the hat by a blue ribbon. Unused to the cold, he stole a big fur parka to wear as soon as he got here, a notable achievement considering the size of the item, as well as big brown boots.

Thx, and I know I've been gone for a long time but, I kinda expected the rp forum to be more lively, I mean what happened, there use to be more veriety in rps.
