Mixtapes?

I know you can't really make mixtapes anymore because tape recorders are long gone, but I still call my mix on my CDs 'mixtapes', so bear with me.

When my friends got their licenses, they'd always go on about how there's never any good music on the radio, so I used to make CDs for them of all different mixes that I thought they'd like when the radio doesn't cut it. It became this huge success and eventually my friends told more people about it and people I barely even know now ask for mixes.

It's become such a huge thing at my school now where today, a large group of my friends and I put together a Thanksgiving gift exchange of mixtapes, where we all made our own disc, put them all into a bag, and got each other's mixes at random.

So I'm wondering if any of you still make mixtapes or burn discs or even use CDs, since I know everything's downloadable online now and the use of all of this is lessening. I just thought it's such a nice thing to bring back. My friends and I are really having a great time making different playlists for each other on CDs. So, discuss.
