[spoiler=Why this movie sucks]Directed by Joe Berlinger, this piece of utter bull was concocted by Artisan and was meant to eat up all of the hype from the acclaimed movie "The Blair Witch Project" and vomit it out in the most disgusting fashion.

This movie is devoid of a coherent plot or any stellar acting for that matter. The characters identifications are obvious and stereotypical and the villain is never actually identified. In fact, although they go out into the woods because of the Blair Witch Project, we are left at the end wondering if the freaking Blair Witch had anything to do with this. In fact we don't even know what the Book of Shadows is, considering there is no book of shadows anywhere in this God forsaken movie. The plot is predictable and the ending was anything but scary, in fact the whole movie itself wasn't scary.

Certain scenes in the movie didn't make sense and had a habit of cutting in the middle of important scenes (For distraction I guess). The whole thing is nothing but a macaroni drawing of horrible scenery and bad dialogue. The movie detracted so far from it's source material that it wasn't even A HIDDEN FOOTAGE FILM! It was a regular cinematic movie to make matters worse! Joe Berlinger shows that he couldn't direct himself taking a bath let alone direct a feature film. Random scenes were inserted for what I guess would be shock value but the only shocking thing about it was that I was still watching the damn thing.

You have a disfigured girl dancing like a demented fish out of water and disappearing, three dogs that appear and disappear for no reason, and a guy getting killed early in the movie for no reason. They don't even explain why the film keeps jumping time frames for no reason because it just get's hella annoying. They also don't explain why one of the characters starts out getting mucus poured into his nose.

This movie is a farce and one of the reasons why sequels are so hated nowadays. The idea was stupid, the acting was atrocious, the fanservice was obvious, the dialogue was crap, the scenes were horribly panned out, and the lack of information regarding ANYTHING in the movie was frustrating.[/spoiler]
