The weakening artifacts to rank C to start are allow the strength of characters to increase over time because they scale not only with the artifact's power but your synchronization (Getting used to an artifacts properties and ability to be compatible with the owner). Thus, if you want to scale them up later... okay. For the power part, I will not allow any ability that forces an RPer to change the way their character acts unwillingly... you may use it for NPCs or environment but not on RPers. Now, you can rework the abilities of the gem to allow for it to augment your katana skills or power should you choose to. However, as it stands your gem is already very powerful and already C+ without katana skills. To everybody: You are still allowed any weapon, as long as it is not affected by an artifact. Just remember that class is mostly influenced by the fame and power of the legend, so match an appropriate historical or mythological figure. I mean the best and most balanced illusion ever is Ban Mido's jagan from the Get Backers. It only last for a minute, can only be used 3 times a day, and cannot be used on the same person within 24 hrs. Maybe the ring can just knock a person unconscious and if the artifact can get leveled up then it escalates to full on killing. If I stop it from being used on Artificers, it's horribly under-powered. Please, rework your abilities so they're not one shot 100% accuracy knock outs involving blindness or incapacitation.
