Zazubat
THE WINNER HAS BEEN CHOSEN.
Archlord Sora: Helios Dragon Image: The image is pretty good, nothing wrong with it. 9/10 OCG: It's a bit off, as with all the cards I have noticed, but really it's just a quick fix. Capitalize some of your letters and change some of the words. You also didn't check if you messed up something, and well you did, "during to your field during". 5/10 Balance & RC: It's not balanced in the ATK department. It's the strongest Level 7 Synchro without an additional summoing requirement, such as Type or Attribute or Archetype, so it gets minus points for that. Plus, it's effect is pretty powerful, though situational, since you need a lot of Tuners, but because it's a Dragon it can easily run in Dragunity deck, which typicly places a lot of Tuners in the grave. Though, the SS monster gets banished, so you can't easily reuse this card. It's somewhat balanced, but I still find it too strong since it's up at 2700 ATK, Level 8 would have been better. 6/10 Usability: Points taken because it's somewhat OP. The card is very flexable in a Dragunity deck as mentioned before, and it could have been one and would make it more balanced if it was. Though it's still nice in any deck, it wouldn't get as much use if it wasn't for it's ATK and powerful effect. 6/10 Creativity: A nice effect, can be used in a lot of places, and it's pretty original from what I have seen. 8/10 Winner: 34/50 (Congrats, your effect was interesting, and with a few tweeks, it could become really awesome!) AixDividis: Torch of Revealing Light Image: It's a pretty cool image, I can't really see what's it's suppose to be, or why it's related to Revealing Light, but it's nice. 8/10 OCG: It's a bit off, say you would most rather want it to be written like this: When this card is Summoned: You can pay 1000 Life Points; this card's Summons and effects cannot be negated and Set cards cannnot be activated in response to this card's Summmon. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Flip all face-down cards your opponent controls face-up (card effects are not activated at this time) and return them to their original positions. 5/10 Balance & RC: It's balanced pretty good, it's a low ATK, and it cannot be negated if you pay 1000 which is an okay price. 7/10 Usability: I like it because it's summon cannot be negated, and your opponent can't Torre it. It's nice to know what you're going up aggaints, if your opponent has a lot of cards waiting for you, but since it's an Xyz that means you need some monsters on the field, and it can be hard to keep them alive it your opponent has some nasty traps. It's low ATK meaning it will probably be destroyed fast. A Rank 3 might have been better. 7/10 Creativity: It's not all too creative, some cards already do this, though it's a new spin on it. 5/10 2nd Place: 32/50 (You card was good, but I don't find it that useful myself, some decks might like it though) Dust42: Hyperdimensionalized Jiang-Shi Yoshika Image: Image is pretty good, you can see that it's type matches. Though it doens't seem to fit very well with your other card very well. 7/10 OCG: Most of it is pretty bad, you use old terms such as "remove from play" and you don't capitalize Special Summon and it isn't set up very well. 4/10 Balacne & RC: Nothing special to say here, it seems pretty well balanced. 7/10 Usability: Since I don't know how your archetype really works, I can't really comment on this too much, and I really should have adviced about not making cards to fit your set since it can easily drag it down. By itself and Hermit, it's pretty useless. It gets a nice boost by being able to be Special Summon from banished zone, and since it's increased by Hermit it gets a bit more powerful, but not by that much, so it gets very situational. It makes a nice Rank 6 though. 7/10 Creativity: Both cards together are very complex, and together could work but not for long, and they're kinda slow. 5/10 3rd Place: 30/50 (You card was interesting, and if it wasn't for it's complex nature and that it needs an other card to become useful, it would be higher on the list. The picture is great, and there's overall not too much wrong with it) SynchroTuner: Force Field of the Mages Image: The image is sadly blury and low quality. Though I can still see what it's suppose to look like, it kind of ruins the card. 4/10 OCG: The Grammar is ok, but there are some faults. You can see what it's suppose to do, so there's nothing wrong with it besides a few faults. 7/10 Balance & RC: This is a mixed bag. The card is sadly not balanced. The fact that you need a cost kind of counteracts it, but since it has the same cost as Destruction Jammer, which is basicly a vanilla version of your card, it means that your card is more powerful for less cost. 3/10 Usability: As said before, it's basicly a better Destruction Jammer, meaning that it's more useful, and if it wasn't for the unbalancedness, it would be a good Splashable. 6/10 Creativity: It's not very creative, while it's card to make a creative counter, it's nothing special, but just a good card to have. 3/10 4th Place: 23/50 (your card is not too great, but keep trying you managed to become 4th) 7swords: Doomdino Warrior Image: Image is pretty good, there's some cut-off at the bottom, and it's not perfect quality. 8/10 OCG: It's a bit iffy, as you forget to capitalize Summoned, and we you write "This card gains 300 for each card" which is btw after a period, meaning that it's not a part of the same effect anymore. I am sure you mean "When this card is Summoned: Discard your entire hand; this card gains 300 ATK for each card discarded by this effect". There's enough errors in the OCG to make my english teacher angry, you really should have read up. 2/10 Balance & RC: It's not the most balanced card in the world. It can easly gain a lot of ATK fast, and in a Dark World deck, this card would be king. Since it's effect can activate even if it wasn't Synchro Summoned, it becomes pretty powerful fast. 4/10 Usability: As said, it's pretty OP, if it wasn't for it's low ATK if you happen to not have any cards in your hand, it would be banned fast, and since you most likely would just summon Stardust instead at that point, it isn't very useful unless your deck focuses on it. 4/10 Creativity: Not the most creative card in the world. It puts cards into the Grave, and gains ATK for it. 3/10 5th Place: 21/50 (Your card is a bit too OP, not by much though so it doesn't get the worst rating) Randomflyingobjects: Supersonic Star Slicer Image: It's pretty bad. It's horrible quality, it's blurry and it really ruins a lot about it. If it wasn't so bad, it would get a better rating then this. 2/10 OCG: Since it's such a short effect you wouldn't think there could be any, but you still managed to screw something up. But besides that it's ok. 6/10 Balance & RC: It's a monster Sakuretsu Armor that you can activate from the hand. It's not very well balanced since it can be searched easily. It's DEF is okay, so if you need it on the field, you can do that too. 4/10 Usability: Well any deck can use this really, making it a Staple, which you don't really want, because those are most of the time OP. 4/10 Creativity: None, you threw this together in 5 secs. 1/10 6th Place: 14/50 (You didn't really try, you took so long almost up to the last day, but still managed to produce this horrible card. Try harder next time)
Sora1499
Did I really make that mistake? Oh well, I still got first. Although I've got to disagree about your dragunities point, because they always go for 8s, I've never seen a dragunity deck make a 7. I'd think this card to be more viable in synchro turbo. Anyways, glad you liked it!
