instagram and other apple apps

I just recently got an iPhone 5 for my birthday and I'm in love with the thing. I can't say I'm addicted to it and I don't pull it out every second like most teenagers do, but I'm totally into the apps you can get with it and the wide array of systems it has.

I have to say Instagram is pretty damn fun and neat. And if you have one, hit me up @ miranmiraneiny haha. But not only that, I have tumblr and facebook and pinterest and stumbleupon in the palm of my hand.

Then there's pandora and spotify and fandango and flixster.

And my favorite game is this damn addicting Jurassic Park app and another few games called Sir Benfo, Crow, and Spirits.

But anyways, discuss your favorite game apps or your social media apps like instagram, etc.

I've always had a really strong opinion on Instagram in which that I just hate it. I mean, I know there's a lot of young up-and-coming photographers who use the app, but a lot of it ends up as:

Take picture without any sense of photographic sense > Add bad vintage filter

It kinda annoys me that people take so many shortcuts with photography, because iPhones definitely have the potential for great photos, if people actually learnt how to take a good one. I mean, I'm probably heavily biased because I'm an avid photographer, but it's just so lazy.

I don't even think there are many apps I use regularly. I basically just use my iPod for music.

I usually stray away from social media other than facebook, and then I only add people I genuinely know or communicate with on a somewhat regular basis. I mean, my twitter feed consists of "I have gonhorrea" and Hayley Williams retweets. I do use instagram to support and follow some local photographers.

And I generally prefer Apple hardware to most aneroid manufacturers, but I prefer the Android OS. Just saying.

My favorite apps to play with are Temple Run and I'd Cap That. Especially the last one because I've been rolling on the floor laughing (literally) on more than one occasion from it.

I love my Macbook Pro wholeheartedly and I never want to go back to my crappy Lenovo, and the Apple desktop at home's a lot better than our old PC.

But I've read up on what goes on behind the manufacturing of these products and I can't say I approve, but it's one of those terrible truths that you kind of have to accept because there's no getting around it.
