Susie
Yeah there probably are more sadder songs done by The Fray, but I'm not a huge fan of them so I don't know much Anyways here's something that any Imogen Heap fan should listen to Oh and before anyone asks what decvice he's using it's called the Monome 256, it's handmade by two people and they cost 1400$

Aerion Brightflame
I just realised I don't think anyone has mentioned Adele yet O.o Well, Make you feel my love, Set Fire to the Rain and Someone Like You are pretty damn sad.
a bad post
Emilie Autumn-The art of Suicide (this is just, I don't know how to describe it its so sad) Evanescence-Hello I have quite a few others, but these are probably the saddest songs I've ever listened too. The part I like about sad songs is they have the power to evoke or, at the very least make feel, emotion.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5SSGhmTvr0
Yes, it's in Japanese, but it's subbed and most of the other things I'd mention are taken... This IS the saddest song I know, though.
Susie
Adele has been mentioned, I think it was the 3rd or 4th post on here, though all they said was [insert Adele song here] But anywas Tegan & Sara did alive version of Living Room in the Moog Sound Lab, it sounds a hundred times better than the original version

Susie
Kinda weird having a pokemon song being brought up into here. Even if it counts as a sad song. and YES this is a Backstreet Boys, and YES I hate the backstreet boys, but this is the only song I liked by them, it's a little bit emotional compared to the other cheesy crap that they've put out. Cloister
I know it's not a SAD song, but it makes me sad, at the same time it makes me happy... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlGUYT_zk5o
Cin
Nora by Blessid Union Of Souls, reminds me a little of the hospice my grandma spent time in in her last months, so I cry everytime. Fine Again by Seether, because of the depression I went through last year, it speaks to me so makes me cry.

Black Metal
I get the most sad and beautiful songs by listening to Dark Ambient or Depressive Black Metal. My favorite sad and slow song would be Fort by Trist (German) It's just so powerful and hope you enjoy it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VedrAu7hSJA
Susie
Wow, well that's definitely a unique track.
Black Metal
Yep yep ^-^ It's part of the double-album with one single that's an hour long. It's called "Hin." I recommend that you listen to it when you have a LOT of free time xD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqSenz_EQxg

Black Metal
Have another one. This one has vocals unlike the other songs. This is Depressive Black Metal (DSBM, Suicide Metal, whatever you want to call it lol). Tell me what you think! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PL-x7kZBBm0
Susie
Well I thought that this was going to end up dying out but oh well since it hasn't died out:
Black Metal
In my opinion, I don't see this as a sad song but a beautiful one with an amazing intro. I also love the atmosphere in this song, plan on listening to it outside at night for the full effect lol. Thanks for showing me this!
Susie
Yeah Taps he's been doing stuff like that. He has some sort of weird softer house type sound on his songs. It's alot better than this older more dubstep type stuff. There's a couple of other ones that are nice and soft like Sweetiedreamt, What Must Be Done, and Scoot a rii I didn't bother posting any of his stuff untill now because I thought that the fact of how it's brony music would make it a turn away for most people If you like electronic music with an atmosphere in it then I'd recommend Aphex Twin, Squarepusher and Boards of Canada
CinnamonStar
I'm back with some more sadness.=o Live version: Please give it a try. It's pretty atmospheric [s]and English[/s]. Strangely enough, Adele and all these belt-out-sadness songs aren't doing anything to me.:/ I need a huge-as-hell atmosphere and touching lyrics.D:
