Signature rotators

If i put 11 images on a signature rotator(changes image on refresh),it still counts as breaking the 10 image limit,right?

Why would it when it only ever shows one image?

You just make an acc [url="http://signavatar.com/"]here[/url] and put the images you want to slide,then you get a .gif URL that changes every time someone views it, like [color=#330000][font=verdana][size=3][url="http://signavatar.com/23376_s.gif"]http://signavatar.com/23376_s.gif[/url] (the one i put in the OP)[/size][/font][/color]

Essentially changes the image every time a page is refreshed.

Signature rotators show one random image from a couple i choose every time they are viewed,if i put more than 10 images on one does it count as breaking the up to ten image rule,even though it's only showing one image at a time?

Everytime someone clicks a link or views an image it gets a random picture from a few selected.

Every time you view "[img][url="http://signavatar.com/23376_s.gif"]http://signavatar.com/23376_s.gif[/url][[i]/[/i]img]" (the one i put in the OP) it will randomly be one of the six sprites i chose. The question is,if i put 15 sprites on one of these rotators,does it count as going over the 10 image limit,even though only one picture out of the 15 is being shown at a time?

Let me see if I can clarify. He wants to make a .gif, that rotates through 11 different pictures. Would this break the ten image rule for signatures, even though it is one changing .gif?

Obviously not. It only comes out as one link, correct? So of course it will not count.

I don't see how it would since you still technically only have one image on your signature, as the rotator only loads one. I have seen members employ this in the past and also employ it in their avatars.

Honestly, this seems like a matter that anyone with common sense would have realized, considering it's only 1 at a time.

Changing your sig isn't against the rules. Whether you change it because of a rotator or whether you manually go into it and change it once every hour yourself, I don't care. But unless there's some ridiculous abuse or something, changing your sig will not be against the rules for the forseeable future.
