For those of you who were here at the start of last year, you might remember my RPG Tourney. This one, if it goes the way I think it should, may be similar.

[size=5]Each contestant will design a world, its inhabitants, locations, and so on. Each round will create a new aspect of that world. Additional details will be revealed each round.[/size]

[spoiler='Rounds']Provided people stick around, there will be a round to eliminate each contestant, leaving the last two in a 1-on-1. So, if there are six contestants, there are four rounds, plus a final 1-on-1 contest to decide the winner.

[spoiler='Round 1']You are a new deity, creating your first universe. So, you create simple things like stars, galaxies, and hunks of rock to populate your universe. You find it rather empty, still, so you create a new hunk of rock that could support life, for the sentient creatures you plan to make in the future. While you’re at it, you decide to figure out what you are, so that the sentients may worship you. You might be humble, but you enjoy being worshipped.

[*]You must create a new, ORIGINAL world. You may not use names or themes from existing known works, but you may use images. That’s the extent of it.
[*]Your world must, in some way, support life, via effect. I don't care how you interpret this.
[*]Plan your sentient species; you'll need to know what they are, and what theme they have. You don't have to tell me, though.
[*]You don't have to have the world exactly [i]support[/i] your sentient race, but don’t make it completely ruin them. Unless that's their thing.

[*]The god must support your sentient race. After all, God made Man in His image...
[*]Must have some method of protecting life. Again, up to you to interpret in what way.
[*]Must be either a Ritual, Synchro or Xyz:
[*]---If Ritual, the Ritual Spell must support your race, and be included.
[*]---If Synchro, the Tuner must be one of your race, and be included. Must also have an inherit ability to summon in some way. Bonus points for creativity here.
[*]---If Xyz, the materials must be at least Level 5, and more specific than just 2 Level 5 monsters. In addition, the god must also have a way to create life.

Your choice ultimately. Judging seems to be harder to find people for, though, I've noticed.

Also, updated OP to be a little clearer on the round structure.

Given this contest seems to center around creating an entirely new 'world,' I think I'll judge instead of competing, so I don't have to go into a panicked hunt for pictures. I was originally going to refine cards from my existing sets, but they're all based in things that exist.

I'd like to enter. This sounds interesting, and perhaps flexible enough on images that I won't be constricted into a bad card for lack of imagery. Can't wait, though I am a bit curious about start and end dates on the rounds.

@Heimdall: Start date is when we get one or two more people. End date... to be determined, if you mean the ultimate finish. I'll give each of you three days per round, though. So, probably looking at about... two weeks? Maybe two and a half?

This will be my entry, I'm not completely done yet. This is just here to reserve my idea (which is Ritual Summoning Archetype of sorts). I have the same question as Donvermicelli as well as one of my own: When's the deadline for the first round?

[font=arial,helvetica,sans-serif][size=3][background=transparent]Spawned from primordial essence, I have arrived. I will be called many names but my first and true name is Rhy'tuel Kaiza. I wield the power of creation, to make Nothing into matter and particles that will make up the universe. I create the laws of physics, of how things work. The Emptiness, the Void, is my canvas, which I will paint the thousands of stars, forming them into swirling galaxies. With a splash of paint, I create the nebulae to conceal the great mysteries of the universe. Alas, I Summon a rock into existence. This is no ordinary rock, for it also contains treasures of mortal dreams. Gold, mithral, orichalcum, my gifts to the mortals I have yet to create. I crush it and scatter the pieces across the universe like bread crumbs. They tumble through and form the planets and the asteroids. And yet, a few rocks were loyal enough to stay in my hand. I send them off with my blessing, bestowing upon them light and power to rival the stars and they become the comets.[/background]

[background=transparent]The universe is empty and devoid of life. Even a god can feel alone. I have created this beautiful world with no one to witness my greatness. No one to praise me, worship me. I will create my own peoples, but first, they need a vessel to live within, and so, I create a planet, a singular rock, which has the sacred ability to sustain life. The Ark. A hollow orb of divine rocks and minerals, within, protected from my own greatness will be the very first race. It is a cocoon, an egg, for the race to develop. The mortals will rise, ascend to greatness, they will venture outside of their homeland, but forever, the Ark will be their heart. The centre of their great empire they will create in my name. They will worship me, make religious ceremonies and rituals, offer Tributes in my name, and I will reward them.[/background]

[background=transparent]Within the Ark will be their city, temples and citadels will be erected, my name inscribed upon every stone. Divine fires, miniature stars, will let them see for they must not be blind, else how can they witness the beauty of my creation? But even within the Ark will be harsh. I will create challenges for them. Great chasms open up, swallowing ones unfortunate enough to fall within. Massive spikes will rise out of the floor and pierce down from the ceiling. Dangerous beasts will be there to test them, and by trial by fire, my new race will grow strong, grow wise, grow intelligent.[/background]

● 1 Counters: You do not have to Tribute next time you Ritual Summon a "Rhy'tuel" Ritual Monster.
● 2 Counters: Add 1 "Rhy'tuel" card from your Deck to your hand.
● 4 Counters: Special Summon 1 of your banished "Rhy'tuel" monsters, ignoring the Summoning conditions.[/spoiler]

[spoiler='Explanation of the Card and Why me gusta']
The Ark of Rhy'tuel Kaiza's first effect, to give "Rhy'tuel" monsters a 400 ATK boost is due to the fact that the race is supposed to be most familiar with the Ark, it's their home turf, and where they have all their tricks prepaared and the Ark does have power-boosting abilities of its own. The rest is an additional award for Ritual Summoning and enforces the "Rhy'tuel" specialty of Ritual Summons. The rituals are the religious ceremonies devoted to me, and the Ark is the center of my power, so close to me, the religious ceremonies get better.

Why me gusta? Because it's the very first world for sentient creatures I have created in this universe... On the real side, because of the stuff above. I'm supposed to be a god, so it makes sense to have rituals. Now, you also may be thinking with an archetype revolved around rituals, I should make the field spell be able to recycle the ritual spell or monsters but I'm thinking about having a Gem-Knight Fusion type ability for the principle Ritual Spell, also, if I did that, the archetype would be more reliant on the field spell than I would like. The race should be able to function and conquer outside of the Ark.

It is to be a field spell. The god must be one of the types listed, and their requirements fulfilled.
Aix, the bio isn't entirely required, but definately gives you bonus points in my book.
Deadline is Sunday night EDT, or after midnight, EST.

Written cards are iff-y, simply because no card picture. You can submit them, but an image is always nice.

My god would be more like: "If they can't even survive then they are worthless. Protect them? Bah! I'll just make more."
Could I just make him summon stuff? Or, would it count as protection if he gave them ATK and DEF while he's around?
Can I make multiple cards for the god as multiple aspects of him (a real creator god would feel more like Horakhty and just owns everything so it wouldn't make too much sense, be better as multiple aspects, almost like exodia except with/without the giant benefit from catching'em all [size=5][font=Courier, monospace][background=rgb(250, 250, 250)]♪[/background][/font][/size]) or could I just make the most important aspect if you don't want to have to go through a whole bunch of them?
