More ancient than Fuse's love for fud- *shot* If you didn't know my name, I don't know what whole you had your head in. As for me, I go by Black predominately, but people tend to take my assorted first halves of my name as what they call me (IE: Reborn, Ravenous, Tainted, etc.). Sometimes Yuzuru. Umbra
My name is a "nickname" in and of itself, so people just stick to that. As for online handles, Umbra has stuck for a long time and will probably continue to do so.
Big Bad Pennar
Online: most people call me based on what Name they encounter me as that Sticks a lot, Here they call me Flandre, Most MMOs has me being called Variations of my Username (Alur, Vei, Nos, Ryko, I was even called Crazy Once) IRL: People Call me "Deebs", Because My Last name (Deeb) is extremely uncommon and weird. That's where the Nickname being the Last name also comes from on Some of my RPing Characters
Ghost Rare
Most people call me bomb, as in adam bomb the old wrestler, i bare no physical resemblance to him just 1 guy used to always call it too me and it just stuck from there.. Oh and couple others call me chips from time to time, all because of a incident with a bag of chips i wont go into that now though.
Marisa Kirisame-ze
My name's Miranda, so people call me Mirand and my elementary school friends call me Mir, Munch, or Momo. There's really not much you can do with Miranda, but taking off the 'a' has a nice ring to it. For online, people just call me Marisa, Mari, or Mira. On tumblr, I'm called Coffee or Ghost since my username is coffeeforghosts.
Limited Edition KING
I decided to have "Legend" at the back of my year 12 jumper and throughout year 12 a lot of people referred to me as such. True story.
'tyleR
Depends on who. A lot of my friends just call me Ty. Most of the foreign employees at my job just call me Boss. It's actually kind of funny, they don't even call the owner that. lololol I think it pisses him off sometimes.
