R.Surraco
Welcome everybody to "RS Fantasy Miscellanea", the improvised wiki thread for the ideas created by yours truly. So far, only 7 had been actually though fine enough into proper storylines, but more might come in. Let's Begin! Hidden Blade of Saratoga (サラトガの隠された刃/Saratoga no kakusareta ha)
In the 19th century, a metallic meteor crashed into Earth in two distinct places: the most of the meteor fell in Japan, in the cost near Satsuma, creating a highly powered metal known as Tenkinum that generated a great kick in technology; a relatively tiny shard of said meteor fell in the muddy lands of central Scotland, which oddly made it retain it's real qualities, those of a "sickening"(Radioactivity hadn't been discovered yet, magma-like substance that when hardened becomes an indestructible metal known as Albareullium, whose special feature rivals the one of the Tenkinum (i.e.: it sucks energy of its surroundings, which is why all the existing samples are dark as coal). Satsuma Rebellion rolled in, as in our timeline, but the technological advancement that Saigô Takamori achieved thanks to the Tenkinum was making it hard for the Imperial Army. America had to bring a trump card for it: US Army Captain Andrew Johann Saratoga, wielder of the namesake Saratoga Claymore, a sword made of Albareullium years before the whole war. In the Battle of Shiroyama, both men fought hand to hand. The result: Takamori was decapitated by Saratoga, but after the former stabbed his own sword, the Teimeken Saber, through the latter's chest. He then gave his Claymore to his friend Japanese Imperial Army Field Marshal Prince Aritomo Yamagata, telling him to hide it "for the Hidden Blade will come to get it..." and died by twisting the sword into him. In present time Tokyo, we meet Mitsuru Kanna, a 15 y-o boy that craves for blood and death, but it's savvy enough to not try to kill people when is easier to just get into videogames or art. Oh, he also has synesthesia, is shorty, leftie and, according to himself, gay, specially after he met Aoshi Minamino, the only person that he still don't want to kill. Aoshi is a "ladies' flop": his romantic advances fail hilariously, but he won't stop trying. Aoshi is also the second best kendoist on Odaiba High School, only behind Hiroshi Asunaga, the kendo team captain. Of course, Mitsuru's a best fencer than them, although his style, despite being called a kenpo (Gyakufû Kenpô, or "Reverse Wind/Headwind Fencing") is an altered pirate fencing style remade for his stature and handiness. Plot kicks in when, during a visit to the Coliseum of Heroes in Sumida Park during the Sumidagawa Fireworks festival, they spot some ninjas digging near Capt. Saratoga's effigy in the island in the middle of the park's lake, which get's interrupted by the appearance of the Cygnus Special Task Force, a bunch of high school girls in powered armors. Mitsuru leaves stating it's bullshit, but Aoshi stays long enough to be captured. A ninja goes after Mitsuru while he's on the boat going back to the shore, only to get bit to death by the murderous teenager before the boat could touch down. He then walks around, waiting for Aoshi, not knowing of his situation. Aoshi's capture and use as hostage, forced the girls to strip of their armors and be restrained and left helpless, while they keep digging. Aoshi tries to get free, wondering how's "Zai-chan" going. Mitsuru reaches Saigô Takamori's statue and then a trap door opens under him. It shuts after Mitsuru fell, so Mitsuru's forced to walk the long way until hea reaches a chamber under Saratoga's effigy. There's a golden equestrian statue of Saratoga and a rock with the legend "TOLERANTIA ET SOCIETATEM SUNT PONTES QUOD CONIUNGERE MUNDI" ("Tolerance and fellowship are the bridges that connect the world", Saratoga's main motto). He was not happy so he punched by the stone for no other reason that it was stupid. And that happened to be what the rock wanted, as the simple raging punch cracked it open to reveal a small baton. Mitsuru felt then the urge to pull it, extending it into it's real form... the Saratoga Claymore! Just when Aoshi manageed to free himself, Saratoga's effigy blasted itself to bits, causing the ninjas to leave, allowing Aoshi to free the Cygnus. Mitsuru, just because was in the mood, destroyed Saratoga's golden statue, which made the wall on the back of the chamber crumble and reveal a tunnel that leaded him to the shore, just in time to see the main light show. Aoshi briefed him on his temporary kidnapping, Mitsuru showed him the Saratoga before he got it pocketed away. When both went back with their families at the festival, Aoshi told about his whole adventure, but Mitsuru just mentioned the ninja he ate, which only earns him a scold from his mother on not eating somebody who might had been carrying poison on him (ignoring the whole thing of HER KID EATING A MAN). He leaves again, followed by Mitsuru and Aoshi's granma, who suspects about Mitsuru's "secret" of him being the Saratoga wielder, as he tries to get rid of the sword because it's a justice weapon and he would prefer to not be attached to it. You know, due at the whole "Cannibal Murderer" thing on him. "Granny" gets confirmation of her suspects when the trio get's stopped in their tracks by the ghost of Saratoga, who briefs them about the Descendants of the Last Samurai, who want to destroy the "poison" of the western culture. He had been advising people in order to stop that, but his choices end up failing (and dieing) because of their morals, leaving the bad guys keep going. He choose Mitsuru to save the world (a world Mitsuru hates and would prefer to see blasted away) because, after over a century of fails, he said "Hell with it!", took all the hate he could gather from Hell and made a soul of full hate... Mitsuru's soul. It happens that the metal on the Saratoga Claymore is naturally tuned to a kind of mind wave related with extreme hate. Saratoga himself was unable to use the claymore at full power due to his "nice guy" nature, so he made a soul that copuld use it's maximum potential. He hold himself until he was sure the hate was not gonna fade away, which got proved when Aoshi killed the ninja and ate him, which is actually the first time he tastes fresh human blood (he tired with a blood bank sample, but it was too washed up and cold for his taste). After that proof of homicidal madness, he triggered the secret entrance for him to fall and reach the Saratoga. Mitsuru cracks up maniacally, and decides to help, given that he owns his existence to him and he so wanted a reason to kill (and probably eat) people and a couple of villains might help on that. Next dayl Aoshi then gained popularity on his neighborhood due to his story about the "heroic rescue" of the Cygnus, something that got carried on to the school when summer holidays got over. Also Mitsuru after his "ninja feast" got revealed (albeit the gruesome details were spared, leaving him only as a very good fighter). He now tries to balance his family life, his school, and his tenure as the new wielder of the Saratoga. The Last Samurai Descendants, leaded by the girly yet firm extremist leader Haruka Takamori, who usually use their huge resources and strong army, as well as smart plans, in order to overthown the western aspects of the society, putting a lot of lives in the stake, but now their methods are useless agains someone even more evil than them, but that somehow got roped into the side of the good. A short kid, wielding the powerful Saratoga Claymore. A Kid that goes by the name of "Hidden Blade"... The Hidden Blade of Saratoga ((As you can see, the title refers to Mitsuru and the Claymore, as both are Hidden Blades of Saratoga. NSFW story, as Mitsuru, in Episode 1 already begins with a bloody brawn and he even EATS A WHOLE NINJA!!!))

The series protagonist. A 15 y-o kid who's lefty, short (4ft6) and homicidal. He hates people, nature and probably the internet. He would love to see everything in chaos and everyone dead. The only one he would spare is Aoshi, mainly because he's in love with him. He states that, because of this, he's gay, but he still acts totally straight because he doesn't feel the "homo vibe". It later revealed he was created by the hate of 100 demons condenced into a soul by Andrew Saratoga's spirit in order to have the perfect user for his Claymore. He decides to help Saratoga just because he loves the life he got from him (yeah, he loves to hate everybody... is your mind blown yet?). His father is a kendo master, but he defied him and created the Reverse Wind Fencing (逆風剣法/Gyakufû Kenpô) a stile based on the spanish fencing (like Pirates of the Caribbean or Zorro), and consisting on mainly upward slashes and counterhand blocks and strike designed to diminish his opponent's deffensive and offensive power and give himself a wider area of attack. His style is better than several forms of Kendo, which makes him the best swordsman in the whole Odaiba High School. He's also a pretty much smart guy, although he tries to not use much of his intellect in order to not stand up too much. School hadn't yet heard about his violent outrages because of this. Mitsuru, much to his chagrin after the high school's principal forced him to take club abilities, is part of the Drama Club, working behind the stage as a technician. After the events on Sumidagawa where the club president kicked him out and Aoshi's retelling of the story, Mitsuru got roped into the Battle Club, that actually gathers up all the battle teams, including Kendo Team, where Aoshi's located. He gets to give full shows of both his Reverse Wind Fencing and his wild unarmed style, dubbed Dokuga Tekken (毒牙鉄拳, rougly "Venom Fang Iron Fist") by the club president, Hiroshi Asunaga, both of which are not meant to be used in competitions (Reverse Wind because of how incompatible it is with Kendo, Dokuga Tekken because Mitsuru used his teeth very liberally on that style), which added to Mitsuru's lack of mercy, leave him out of the club's main activities (the combat teams). He couldn't care less about it... He has synesthesia/ideasthasia, which makes him taste everything. He can't stand anything sweeter than a red apple, though, giving him another reason to hate the world, as that limits his bearable tastes to meat, apples, terror, sadness and blood (specially human). After he got given the Claymore, he's known in the underworlds as the "Hidden Blade of Saratoga" or just "Hidden Blade". His only ensemble is his school uniform, which he never changes because he ate all his wardrobe prior the beginning of the series after he was forced into a very sweet candy. Despite his hunger, he's pretty much slim, although that might be, according to Capt. Saratoga, that his body burns much more calories than normal due to the hate he puts into anything. His signature attacks, using the Saratoga Claymore, are Moretsu Shogekiha (猛烈衝撃波/"Violent Shockwave"), a rage-fuled slash that shoots a burning arc, and Kôsoku Banshi (光速万死/Lightspeed Certain Death), which is a high speed barrage of slashes that shredds the target until it's not more than a could of blood and a sliced skeleton (yeah, it's pretty much a certain death...). Among his unarmed attacks, he has the Dokuga Nage (毒牙投げ, roughly "Venom Fang Throw), where he bits his enemy, usually in the neck, then flungs it away using his neck muscles. His catchphrase is "Saratoga no jikan da!" (サラトガの時間だ!, roughly "It's time for Saratoga!"). Believe it or not, he's more dangerous without the Saratoga Claymore, as he's a pretty much ruthless fighter on his own and pretty much insane.
Mitsuru's weapon, named after it's former user, Captain Andrew Saratoga. Usually in the form of Saratoga Baton, a 6 in shaft with a sharpened flor-de-lis in an end and a red rose on the other, when Mitsuru pulls it appart, the shaft becomes the handle, while the flor-de-lis becomes the guard and the blade. The sword is made of Albareullium, a material whose main property is to absorb power in order to strengten itself up, incluiding light. While the sword itself is dark like any other sample of the material it's made, the rose on the base is red. This is due to it being fed on Mitsuru's rage, as the rose was white while it was used by Andrew Saratoga. The Saratoga Claymore was made by a blacksmith a long time ago by unknown means. It was found on his workshop, as well as he was found there dead by radiation poisoning. It had a letter saying the sword was made for Captain Saratoga, who haven't even be recruited by the time it was made. After Saratoga's death, the sword was hidden by the Prince Aritomo Yamagata into the hidden. The sword had to be on the hide, as only a proper sucessor of Saratoga would be able to unlock it. When the Saratoga Claymore activates, it grants its wielder super strenght, super speed and super agility, allowing said person to use the 10-ton weapon properly. Also, the Saratoga can absorb energy to increase this powers, the only limit being how much energy the wielder can handle without overexerting himself. Capt. Saratoga tended to tire pretty easily because of this, but Mitsuru can get over it due to his sheer hate enabling him to generate feedback on the sword. This allows him to generate enough power to perform his Moretsu Shogekiha.
Later on the series, this ability allows him to force the saratoga into increase the power it absorbs, turning it and all the dark parts of him (mainly his hair, eyes and uniform) into reddiesh, as well as turn the Saratoga itself golden. This is known as the "Taiyou Blade" form, and it adds up levitation, hell vision (like Ghost Rider's Penance Stare, but inverted, where his victims feel the pain Mitsuru caused) and hell's breath. This form has a variation of Kôsoku Banshi named "Jigoku Banshi" (地獄万死, roughly "Hell's Certain Death) where a fire engulfed Mitsuru flies through a target, turning its remains into a cloud of fire, and its skeleton is burnt into dust.

Mitsuru was originally a pretty average boy that got granted the sword, but then I decided it was too clichè, so I made him more chaotic. Mitsuru has a non canonical adventure named "Mitsuru vs. All Worlds", which is a crossover with several other stories. In that story, he might eat some canon character.
