BehindTheMask Posted October 31, 2012 Report Share Posted October 31, 2012 Here is my current Chaos Dragons build, started off 5-0 then lost the last 3, mostly due to bad luck(like opponent topping Dark Hole, then Avarice). Didnt have access to Maxx "C"s but I now do. [img]http://oi46.tinypic.com/3023ymr.jpg[/img] In my previous build, I used 2 Decree over the Maxx Cs and Didnt run avarice. Looking back, I would love to have run avarice and something over the Decrees. Decrees are better off sided, because I didnt draw them at all to matter game 1, but were good games 2 and 3. Id play Rai-Ohs over the System Downs if I had them, I wanna fit in Imps and Needle Ceiling, but dunno what to take out. You shouldn't care if Lightpulsar dies and Lyla isn't supposed to be attacking. I'd suggest Catastor over Brilliant since the Deck (from my experience) tends to run out of DARKs faster than LIGHTs. I love 3 Veiler especially against WU, and helps across the board except heroes and DW but I dont play a lot against those. I had Avarice out...but I regret not playing it, so many times when I would have loved to have topped it and been able to re-use a lot of stuff. Dropping it with BLS is game ending, and I love it for that reason. Plus, you never know when Lyla can be used to climb over a threat, then pop a backrow MP2(which happened a lot at regionals). I was able to hit for 1700 and then pop the backrow, which was unreal. Forces them to waste removal like D.Prison on Lyla. I've never had a problem with too many darks, to be frank. Gigabrillant is too good because TGU gives me a Light and 2 Darks this way, and instantly makes my Chaos Monsters live. [/quote] I dont know how I'd make it, other than Veiler + Trooper or Veiler + Assaliant which is rare that I keep both Trooper and Assaliant on board long enough to summon a veiler.
