My current favorite album.

I've heard of Project 86 before this came out, but I never had too much interest in them.

But when it DID come out, and I decided to give it a listen, "YES" just poured out of every pore on my body. It's really good stuff.

Current favorite songs would be Fall Goliath Fall and Ghosts of Easter Rising.

Go ahead and discuss this awesome.

Also, I looked at the iTunes page. Do my eyes deceive me, or can I snag this entire album for 5 bucks?

Never been a huge fan of the band but they have some songs I like. I love the Bruce Fitzhugh bit in "SOTS", I've always been fond of Living Sacrifice.

I've actually never heard of Living Sacrifice, and if I have I forgot. I'll go check them out.

Take the Hill is also another really good one. Almost...eerie, for lack of a better term.

They're pretty much the band that paved the way for every Christian metal band out there today.

Since you like Project 86, I'd like to suggest this group that I found out about recently...the song blew me away and it still does every time I listen. They're different than Project 86, but the song is so epic I have to share it haha. The lyrics are amazing.
She waits by the window watching for the headlights. She hasn't heard from him in days. He made his bed at the bottom of a rolling river, his son would only know his name. It is a broken world. Tears fall from the preacher standing at the altar, because he knows he's lost his faith. Last beat for the heart of an alcoholic, because he would not change his ways. And as the fire grows weak in the woman that sells her body, she wonders where she lost control. Empty are the hands of a starving child. His skin reveals his tiny bones. It is a broken world. So let it crumble at the breath of the king. Take the hand of the one who's suffering. Burn as bright as the stars. There is hope, and it burns within us all. So burn. In the sickness, in the hopeless, in the dying, there is hope. So burn.
Depends on your definition of hardcore. Harder stuff, for sure, but I tend to avoid the full on screaming type of music. Mostly because I like to sing along quietly, which I have a lot of trouble doing.

Honestly, most of the "harder" stuff I find is a result of me searching for songs I could craft a pre-war or war scene in my mind with, since I like doing that. If there is a SOFT song related to war, I'd probably like it.

Ghost of Easter Rising was pretty good I actually enjoyed it a little. I can say the same for Take The Hill, Avalantia was decent.

It's not that I don't like it, I'm more of in between of whether it's good or not.
