Champ pool eh?

Top: Renekton, Vlad, Doge, Jax, Trundle, Malph, Lulu

Jungle: Pretty much everyone considered a jungler except Lee Sin, who I am starting to learn

Mid: TF, Veigar, Zed, Talon, Karthus, Morde

ADC: Jinx, Draven, Twitch, Cait, Graves

Support: Thresh, Leona, Braum, Nami, Lulu

In case you couldn't tell, I'm kind of a jungle main. I'm kinda hyped for the new jungle items, even though it means the fiery reign of Godyr will be at an end.

As for Ryze, he scales into lategame. At 18, you can roll your face on the keyboard for a pentakill. True story.

Oh, mind giving some Fiora and Jinx advice? I've been thinking about playing them.

Also, I've been trying Ryze recently, and my GODS he needs a freaking overhaul. It's REALLY hard trying to play a combo champ when you have to wait 10s to do it again.

OK. So with Fiora, you want to start with W, because it gives you 15 free AD. That means that, with Dorans and masteries, you have over 90 AD at level 1. What I do is just go super ham level 1, then take Q level 2 and go more ham. Basically, you beat every champion early game, except maybe Darius. Skill order wise (after W at level 1), R > Q > E > W. Other than that, your ult makes you untargetable and is really trolly, and Fio's crazy good at splitpushing (her E gives 110% attack speed buff at max rank). I normally build Tiamat > Youmuu's > BotRK or tank, depending.

I don't really have as much useful stuff for Jinx, but I can try. You want to be in minigun mode usually for CSing and 1v1ing (it does more DPS than rockets). Rocket mode is good for fast waveclear, teamfights, and poking in lane. Speaking of which, try to poke people in lane a bunch with rockets unless they're Cait or something and they outrange you. Also, remember that Flame Chompers take time to arm, and if you put them too close to the guy chasing you, they'll just run right over them.

Also, I thought Ryze's thing was that he has like no cooldowns late game? There is a reason he's being spammed in competitive play.

We calling guys we play

I got this

Top - Garen/Karma.

Jungle - Volibear/Hecarim

Mid - Xerath/Yasuo

ADC - MF/Graves/Lucian/Twitch (I'm an ADC main, so...)

Support - Nami

What kinda crap is this? Only one of those is actually good man.

For me

Top: AD Garry

Jungle: Rammus/Warwick

Mid: Malzahar/AP Malphite

ADC: Mana/AP/CritPlank or AD Garry also

Support: AP Malphite/Gangplank variables

Most games I just let everyone pick whatever places they want then go AP Malphite if bottom is all that's left obviously. I also even more obviously say "bottom" instead of "support" so nobody can say I was going to support or anything.

I usually go like 17/4/9 as this or something.

Actually I get fed really often but I don't take games seriously so whatever.

Top: Lulu, Maokai, Rumblr

Mid: Orianna, Zed, Yasuo

ADC: Lucian, Ezreal, Corki

Support: Zilean, Braum, Thresh

Jungle: Kha'Zix, Rengar, Udyr

But realistically I can play anything if needed to.

btw guys next champ is an ADC from Shadow Isles, it's being teased with the "markings" on some of the champion pages. All of them betrayed someone, and the new champ is a judicator of sort, seeking revenge on betrayers, probably because it was betrayed back when alive, since it's probably a ghost/spirit.

Also, I've been trying Ryze recently, and my GODS he needs a freaking overhaul. It's REALLY hard trying to play a combo champ when you have to wait 10s to do it again.

I can tell you loads about Jinx.  I've actually been considering doing guides specifically for YCM, but I'm lazy.  I am going to a climbing guide, however.  I'll go over basics to game mechanics and things of that nature.  But, as far as Jinx goes, here is what you have to consider:

Skills:

Passive:  "Get Excited!" - Gain a movement speed boost on Champion Kill or Assist, or when destroying an enemy tower.  Decays over time. Extremely underrated.  This in itself will allow you to pick up kills / clean-up teamfights.  In tough spots, nabbing picks with your ultimate or an assist can also turn this passive into an excellent escape.  This makes Jinx a great lane pusher, and turns her into an incredibly dangerous siege machine.

Q:  "Switcheroo!" - PowpowJinx's auto-attacks grant her increased attack speed, stacking up to three times.  Decays over time.  Switching guns doesn't clear stacks, but Jinx won't build any stacks if she is using Fishbones and not Powpow.

FishbonesJinx gains bonus damage (a portion of her current AD) and attack range, in addition to 100% splash damage.  Each auto while using Fishbones will cost mana.

These are your bread and butter.  The key to playing Jinx is knowing when to push with Fishbones (your rocket launcher and wave clear) and when to farm with Powpow.  A lot of players argue that Powpow (your machine gun) can wave clear just as well if you pick up something like Static Shiv, which is true.  Though personally, later in team fights, I don't wanna be close enough to enemy team to hit them with PowPow.  You'll likely get jumped on and insta-gibbed.  During laning phase, you'll use Powpow for farming, and Fishbones for harassment and trades.  And be sure to watch your stacks when you're switching between the two.  The attack speed stacks you get from PowPow will decay one at a time when you switch to Fishbones.  So when you have three stacks, and you switch to your rocket launcher, you'll keep the increased attack speed for a short time.  Mastering the use of this will make you a great Jinx player.  Max first (after your ultimate).

W. "Zap!" - Jinx fires a projectile in a line.  Slows and gives vision of the first target it hits.  Great for stopping preemptive ganks, or starting fights.  The damage isn't underwhelming, and can be used for poke.  There is a small delay before firing, but the range on this is so long, that you shouldn't really get caught using this.  Good for surprises when using this from a bush.  Max second.

E.  "Flame Chompers!" - Jinx drops three traps that arm after a very small delay.  Targets caught are snared for a brief duration and take magic damage over time.  One champ can only set off one chomper at a time.  Chompers explode after (5~) seconds.  One of your few "escapes".  The arm time on Chompers is short enough that, when running, you can drop it in front of you to delay or shove off pursuers.  You'll never really level this skill after level 3, and will usually be the last thing you max.  Max last.

R.  "Super Mega Death Rocket!" - Jinx fires a global projectile in a straight line.  Deals aoe damage to the first Champion it hits.  Primary target takes full damage, and nearby targets take less.  Deals more damage the less hp the target has.  Basically, a clean-up skill.  That being said, it's initial damage is pretty high.  If you can land this, especially mid game, you're almost guaranteed kills.  Remember, this is global.  I mean, you shouldn't expect to pick off last second recalling 40hp Sona from fountain, but that's pretty damn cool when it happens.  Strong in laning phase as well.  The wind-up is super short, and can surprise your enemies with burst damage.

If you're interested in builds, what to pick up when, match-ups, best supports for Jinx and against Jinx, just ask.  I'd be happy to cover it.

As far as Ryze goes, you're right.  His cooldowns become irrelevant late game.  But what most new Ryze players don't realize, is that your powerspike is actually between 15-25 minutes, mid game.  After your Rod of Ages and Tear.  At this point, your Q is maxed, and you have a base 15%~-20%~ cdr.  Starting Q and following usually keeps players from 1v1ing you at this point.  And every time you cast a spell, your other spells go off cooldown by 1 second.  You can always Flash Rune Prison (W) for a kill, but typically start Q and rotate.

Ex:  Q, W, Q, E, Q, R, Q, W ----> until dead.

And remember Ryze ult gives him spellvamp and aoe in addition to movespeed.  Use it.

What kinda crap is this? Only one of those is actually good man.

What's your definition of good?  I mean, in low levels of play, you can usually do what's comfortable and win, it doesn't have to be "good" or "meta".  But saying that, AD Garen?  Sure you're strong, but if you walk at anyone you're dead.

Oh yeah, could someone also explain Warwick to me? I've though about using him as a jungler.

Lots and lots of single target damage.  His initial clear is slow, but he has excellent sustain.  You can jungle him really well as a starting jungler.  He's a solid duelist, and doesn't take much to play.  Just remember his ganks are subpar without redbuff or being pre-6.   Post level 6, you can do what you want.  He excels at being a tanks, as his damage output scales with enemy health.  And attack speed of course.  That being said, don't build JUSt attack speed.  Your ultimate gets you into the middle of everything.  You kinda wanna live through it.

I like your pool.  I'm also hyped about this Shadow Isles ADC if you're right.  Sounds pretty sweet.

As for my own champion pool, I can play just about anything for every lane, but I prefer to play support.  If I had to pick a favorite list for each lane:

Top:  Ryze, Rumble, Mundo

Mid:  Ahri, Jayce, Ziggs

Jungle:  Kha'zix, Lee Sin, Rammus

AD:  Lucian, Caitlyn, Corki

I own every champ except Azir, who I manage to try out.  His power spike is huge, but late.  But eh, I digress.  Anywho, ask me for stuff if you'd like.

One more thing to add that Dad didn't mention is that you can easily take a ward in your starting build 'cause you really don't need 4 pots on Wick.

A Shadow Isles ADC sounds pretty cool. This actually means you can have a full Shadow Isles team now (Maokai, Elise, Karthus, This guy, Thresh).

Kalista release date: 2014-10-31, but i think they change it.

As far as I know, Kalista, an ad carry, is coming to League seeking for revenge on several champions who are marked with shrouded profile pages.
Kalista has a completely new mechanic named soulbond which link you with a chosen teammate, often your support. He/she uses spears. Thank me later.

Upcoming champions: Ao Shin (mid), Thoridus (looks like jungler/top), Nervia (Support) Skins: Exterminator Twitch, Debonair Braum, Debonair LeBlanc - LB mid 2015. will update it-,^

UPDATE1: Reworks 2015: Shaco(End 2014/january 2015), Poppy(VU+Rework), Fiora, Vladimir (VU+Rework), Gangplank,Warwick (VU+Rework), Nunu (VU+Rework) (and propably Teemo but it's not confirmed)

UPDATE2: Skins 2015(not all ofc): Torturer Sion, Arclight Thresh, Hextech Jayce, Prehistoric Gnar, Void Varus <- Not final names i think but it's all what i know

UPDATEv2: 2015 planned skins: Malzahar, Lee Sin, Kayle, Gragas, Darius , Azir, Akali, Elise, Vel'koz, Zyra, Xin Zhao, Zilean, Vi, Katarina, Janna, Jinx, Garen, Cho'gath and many more.

UPDATE3: Ultimate 2014 is not for Sona, they think about Xerath/Lux. <- NOT 100%

UPDATE4: Buffs in next months: Yasuo, Elise, Kassadin, Gragas, Shen, Shyvana, Azir, Cassiopeia, Kennen - (not all champions, not confirmed 100%, they can change it)

Nerfs/balances in next months: Rammus, Irelia, Ryze, Kha(not sure), Fizz, Nami, Syndra, Zed (not all, not confirmed 100%, they can change it)

PS: Zed is Nocturne before "transformation".

All of this is true. I got Riot intern that confirmed those things, and added the following:

-one more Debonair skin (probably Kata)

-Kalista will be released later

-Exterminator Twitch will be released very soon

-Ultimate skin 99% for Xerath

-VU+Rework for Teemo
