Very well, I'll give it a shot, but if it doesn't work I'll go back to my own. Besides, game's over before my chosen champ even gets to level 18. Also, what's a good item for making gold fast?

But, even though he's a mage, TF makes lots of gold fast. This is why I build Zephyr, Spell thief and Trinity: Make lots of gold. Especially with his ability, Loaded Dice. With it I can make more gold, enough get some decent gear. I don't even bother with the ring as it doesn't build up into anything. Also, that was what I meant to say: Phantom Dancer.

Still, all that costs a hefty amount of gold, which is why I get Spellthief in the first place: To get gold faster.

Regardless of how much gold you get on TF, you should be using it to buy good AP items instead of AD, because they work better on him. You shouldn't be building Zephyr and Triforce because things like Deathcap and Lich Bane help him more. There aren't any items that make you get gold faster, besides support items. And you shouldn't build those as a mage, because they don't give you much in the way of stats, and are very slow to actually net a profit. Also, killing a minion disables the Spellthief's thing for 12 seconds, so it isn't even giving you money half the time.

Well, usually they are, but there are lots of games that go veeeery long, where everyone hits 18.

The thing is, that's not "decent gear" for TF. He IS a mage, so you should build him like one, that'll give you the best results. The items you listed are designed either for supports, or attack damage based characters, from which TF is neither.

The simplest way to get gold fast is to, you know, farm minions. Spellthief's Edge and other items along those lines are designed for supports, who DO NOT get to kill minions, so for them, it's the best income they can get. For other characters, those items are actually horribly inefficent.

Am I wrong in making balls deep plays when we're really behind? I mean my thought process is "we have nothing to lose at this point, might as well just go ham and hope it works." But nobody ever feels the same way for some reason. They just think I'm stupid.

That totally depends on HOW balls deep the play is.

Let's say I'm Vi and I ult their carry behind their front line while the whole team is there. I do this to initiate and try to do something, but nobody ever follows it up. They leave because we're too behind to win the teamfight, but the thing is we're already losing the game. Losing this teamfight means we lose faster, but if we win this, we can make a comeback. I never get any backup though. Everyone runs away and rages at me for going in 1v5.

Rule of Thumb: Just try to not piss people off woth your all-or-nothing tactics. I mean, waiting it out CAN lend opportunity for a comeback, i.e. the enemy decides to do a bad baron, one gets caught out, or some other huge mistake.

Next up: 4.6 Patch Notes!

Some notable things include...

Twitch's VU

Nerfs to the Item Feral Flare

Nerfs to the Summoner Spell Heal

Bots are now smarter and more human-like

I won't get into the details for small champion changes, except for one: Buffs to Rumble.

"We're adding more danger to the Danger Zone in order to separate the good Rumbles from the great Rumbles."

Scrap Shield:
Danger Zone shield bonus 25% 50%
Danger Zone movement speed bonus 25% 50%

Electro-Harpoon:
Danger Zone damage bonus 25% 50%
Danger Zone slow bonus 25% 50%
Bugfix Harpoon slows now stack correctly

Really, really happy about these changes, since I've been practicing keeping Rumble in the Danger Zone and the bonus damage to Electro-Harpoon really pays off; now, it's even MORE bursty than before! 'Bout time he got some buffs.

Those balls deep plays win games sometimes, but people are stupidly stubborn - "we're losing, so all mid and def". Where the hell does that get you? I mean, if you already lost anyways, risks are without consequences.

Also, this patch is pretty small surprisingly. Yay Feral Flare nerfs. Twitch's VU is awesome, and can't wait for SKT T1 skins to be released, I'm so getting Zed and probably Lee~

Because sometimes you can win a teamfight because the enemy team keeps trying to fight under your own tower, and you can ace and push to win.

I'm getting the bundle.

The 'nerf' on FF isn't really much.

A nerf won't really be accomplished without nerfing the stats it gives you themselves, prolonging the upgrade time only makes it a tiny bit less of an early game threat.

That's the point though.  It makes it a worse investment early game so you have to risk that in favour of late game power.

You're probably right. After all, he does have the Loaded Dice ability which gives him bonus gold.

BTW, nice Avatar. But Yellow Heart for a male member? Then again, I have Alys so I shouldn't be one to judge.

Oh please, where does it say I can't wear female avis? =D

So, Braum is up! http://www.surrenderat20.net/2014/04/braum-heart-of-freljord-revealed.html

I never said that. I said I'm not one to judge. It's just a bit confusing as people will think you're a girl.

Braum, a new champ. New Muscleman. Let me guess, a former circus performer with a heart of gold?

For me, I mean. Nami is my favorite, and best, support.

I mean, a heal, 2 Hard CC, like 3 forms of soft CC, and an Auto-Attack buff? It's the all-in-one package!

Currently, stuff like Leona, Morg, and Thresh are still top.

I've never actually played Nami, and I probably should. She isn't Lulu, though. I wuv Lulu <3.

But yeah, Braum is looking to be the manliest support ever. Plus it looks like there's some way to make him have a poro =D

And Leo can play against Morg, but it's not as easy as it usually is to be Leo. It's not like she's totally obsolete, though.

Morg all of the sudden seems really, really strong. A good dark binding around Level 1~3 will, once all the poking is done, leave the receiving ADC with only 40% health left. After that, it's really, really hard for said ADC to catch up.

I mean, it might have ALWAYS been like that, but I've really only noticed Morg as of late.
