Lt. Colonel Remo
Last time we got some winds from a hurricane in Ohio, we missed school for 2 days So that's what I hope happens, although I would feel bad if that happened whilst people were suffering in more populated areas like D.C and other major cities. Fusion X. Denver
Charged up all the electronics and watching as much anime as possible right now while I have internet. When classes were cancelled for the next 2 days, I decided on a whim to come home last night, and apparently after I left, my university strongly encouraged everyone to go home. Never been ahead of the curve before =P I just hope I'll have internet and power again by Tuesday night/Wednesday.
bury the year
I live in Pennsylvania, and I swear that these people have never been in a bad storm before. Apparently this is 2012's apocalypse.
Last time we got a hurricane up here (Irene), many towns in Vermont were completely isolated for a month due to landslides and floods wiping out the roads. I think we have the rights to be concerned a bit more because of that. |:

EliminateHRN
I live in South Georgia, so I'm not sure how much of the storm we will get, if we get it at all, but I do know it has been really, really windy today. I'm not sure if the wind is coming from the storm or not, all I know is that it has been super windy today. We have some family friends who lives up in Pennsylvania so we are kinda worried about them right not. Anybody who is in the path of the storm, stay safe and I hope everything is fine in the end. Agro
I'm in Wisconsin. There's seriously worry about flooding here because of the Great Lakes. Like, there was an evacuation of the towns near the Wisc-Illinois border because of 14 foot waves... on a lake.
