Furnace Rotom?
I've always liked this style of brushing. Adds some pizazz to the fanart.
And as I recall from the screenshot...Corale?

I'd use Corel if I had it. Photoshop Elements.

Thanks :3

Raibread why do you upset me so.
If there is anyone who knows your artistic potential and capabilities it's me, so when I see you doubt and limit yourself it saddens me friend.
So far you have yet to really go the extra mile in your dp's, you've been playing it safe with simple focals and barely detailed BG's.

Leave your comfort zone and go for realism or something of that sort, put in an extra hour focused solely on details.
You're only holding yourself back, I've seen you apply yourself and when you did your growth scaled monumentally.
Regardless, keep it up. Any progression is still progression.

Bro, you should really try out Ken Sugimori's art style. I think you'd be able to pull it off pretty well.

Tried a bit before. Yeah, it's doable.

You know me so annoyingly well :>

I know I have a really weak spot for backgrounds, so I'm probably going to try some sort of detailed landscape next. It should be great practice for lighting and composition (and generally just background building). It's just my comfort zone is so...comfry :3

I dunno babes, I feel the flame monster needs more body if you get want I mean, seems a bit too transparent.
[/quote]In all fairness, it is still technically a ghost, albeit a ghost that's haunting a furnace, but a ghost nonetheless.

Good anatomy and composition!
It honestly just needs some cleaning and detail work. Make everything stand out; the flames inside him, the flames around him, his mouth, eyes and hands.
A nice touch would be adding fire speckles around the place; particle vibrations are also a plus.

You're doing a good job!
