Phantom Roxas
Yeah, I'm only posting this just to give me more reason to rage about the franchise, but here's some new info regarding the film. http://venturebeat.com/2012/10/22/ubisoft-partners-with-new-regency-to-produce-assassins-creed-film/ From the studio that brought you Daredevil, Seltzerberg's horrible parodies, the Alvin and the Chipmunks movies, and In Time, comes an adaptation of a video game about a guy who goes LEEROY JENKINS, gets his comrades senselessly killed just so you he can be demoted to level one since that's where a video game should start, but is really told through completely stupid science logic that would make Unobtainium seem logical! Ranting aside, I did like Michael Fassbender in X-Men: First Class (I never saw Prometheus, but I've heard he was great in that), although that's old news. So, are you excited to see Assassin's Creed on the big screen, afraid because of the typical results of video game adaptations regardless of Ubisoft's involvement, or are you like me and think that as much as people hate Kingdom Hearts for one reason or another, Assassin's Creed is just as overrated? tl;dr: Fox is going to distribute a movie based on an overrated series, and the only saving grace will most likely be Michael Fassbender. Agro
The second game was the best. It made them most improvements and had the best story. They should just do the second game and leave it at that.

Darth Revan of the Sith
Very exciting indeed. In Time was one of my favorite movies of 2011. Considering what Ubisoft was able to do for Assassin's Creed with Lineage, I have high hopes that they will do it right. Then again Ubisoft has been one of my favorite game developers so far. Seeing this movie come to the big screen makes me itch with excitement. I absolutely cannot wait. They better do the first game for the movie and make the movies from then on. Because if I find out they made a movie of Assassin's Creed 2 and neglected to make a movie of AC 1 beforehand. I am going to be pissed...
Phantom Roxas
I would like to point out that I mentioned In Time as a bad thing. I like to flaunt my backwards taste in things, be it that I like things are either too mainstream or not good, or I'm uninterested in popular things. However, I will insist that this logic allows me to say that if I do not like a certain thing, it is bad. I did not like In Time, and quite frankly I should have waited just a little longer to see it, since I saw it during the end of its theatrical run. It was mainly just Justin Timberlake being a pretentious jerk while being chased by villains with vague motivations. Yes, I understand that he grew up in poverty, but the "villain" of the movie (Amanda Seyfreid's father, not Cillian Murphy) is randomly accused by Justin Timberlake of stealing money because how dare someone actually manage to be rich, and I believe that it was never actually proven that he stole money, so at best he's just a well-intentioned extremist. Don't get me wrong, I loved the premise of the movie, but it was just a disappointment. I wish I didn't use my gift card to see it, because now I need some money so I can go see RiffTrax tear apart Birdemic. Honestly, the only movie from the list I gave that I did like was Daredevil. I mentioned it because of how much people hate the movie.
