Love it! The art is nice and the effects gets over Reaper and other face-downs. I remember running into a set Veiler and absolutely WRECKING face with this.

Thing is Ryko's effect is optional; "You can destroy 1 card on the field", only the mill is mandatory. Really not sure on the ruling and should probably find out before the weekend.

You do know that Forbidden Lance (as to what I think the card your reffering to is) decrease its ATK by 800 and not increase it by that amount right >_>

So you hit the opponent's monster with it, giving the same effect. Lance is good because of the flexibility - it can both target your monster to protect it or your opponent's to weaken it, whereas an equip will generally do one thing (which isn't always bad, but usually equips aren't run purely for the ATK boost outside of some OTK decks.

IC I though it protected a monster from all effects, though lance only does spell and trap. Yeah that works.

Papilloperative is a Warrior. In Samurai and HERO Papilloperative is better so you can use it under Rivalry of Warlords.

Blackship of Corn bypasses battle and "on-destruction" effects, so it can eat Wind-Up Zenmaines and outmaneuver D-Prison, among other things.
