Super Chaos Sonic
“Durham, if you would, relieve our guest of those heavy firearms . . .” Red vs Blue OST - First Wave "Oh f-" Tyson said as he was hit upside the head, and as Durham took both Diablo & Angelo, along with his favorite gun: Scarlet. "Y-Yeah...gonna feel that in the morning..." he nervously smiled. Then he heard about what Jack was going to make the townspeople do as the mob formed. S-S***...not good... he thought as he slowly looked up at Jack. The guy was definitely a smooth talker, and maybe he could convince him to live...until the right moment to strike. "Whoa! Whoa! Sorry Jack, but I'm not really good with dying like that...I'm a lover not a fighter." Tyson said in a joking manner, but then he heard the townspeople cough a bit. *Coughbulls***Cough* "I-Ignore them." Tyson said with a very nervous smile. "But seriously, I might be a good help to you...hell you even said it yourself, so why not let me live??" He smiled a bit, but seeing Jack's face staying unchanged. "No dice, huh?"
ListenToLife
Well, Tyson wasn't in the Mayor's office, that was for sure. How did Desmond know? Well, he'd broken in of course. Not a difficult task, the door lock was only fragile and a rough twist knocked the lock clean loose. The door swung ajar easily and smoothly, and Desmond stepped in with slight caution, his right hand ready to knock back his coat and draw his revolver. "Tyson?" He called, glancing quickly around the office. Not a sound, and it was quite obvious he wasn't there. It wasn't especially large, and there were only two rooms - the Office itself and the adjoining bathroom. A quick glance was all he needed to tell that no-one had touched the office. Still, Desmond decided to poke around a bit. He never usually pried, for he wasn't much of the nosy type. But Job Wayne had a connection to the Dealer, and so Desmond found it prudent to search for any clues on the Dealer's Identity or whereabouts. Not that he would get much time for searching. For, alas, the building shook before Desmond had so much as emptied the first drawer of Wayne's desk; cannon-fire erupted around the town. Desmond had barely time to turn around and look out the window before a miniature army of Sand-streamers descended from the nearby hills, bombarding the town. Luckily, they seemed to be met with the group of gunslingers, the group that had assisted him yesterday in the detaining of Job Wayne. Initially interested in these goings-on, Desmond was tempted to merely sit and watch the 'young-uns' sort this out for themselves. Well, until he spotted Tyson walking onto the battlefield, that was. Now, this boy was obviously important; hell, he was a damn fine shot and had valuable information on the Dealer, and Desmond liked the kid. And wanted to talk to him. So, to see him walk onto the battlefield was just plain annoying. So, sighing, Desmond rushed out of the City hall and to the door of the large building, only to pull himself back in at the last moment, so as to avoid the eye of a group of thugs who were kidnapping townspeople and bringing them to the leader of this group; a man by the name of Jack, if Desmond heard those thugs correctly. ~~~~ After avoiding said thugs, Desmond ducked out of the hall and into a nearby alley, avoiding the sights of the gunmen that had managed to capture most of the people on his side; it appeared as if Desmond needed to free them all, and quickly. Sighing, he rushed around alleys and back streets to get closer to this Jack and hear what he was talking about, arriving to hear "...string this man up by his scrawny neck! Once he is dead the Dealer will leave you in peace!” His eyes opened wide for a moment, and carefully thought about how scared these people must be. Tyson was pretty much a dead man if Desmond let this continue. So, as he needed to, Desmond stepped out of the alley he was in, pretty much unnoticed by the goons of Jack, blending in amongst the crowds of Jenora. But a simple blur of the hand later, and his bullet was slicing through the ropes binding Tyson. The next three bullets managed to free Gaius and Jericho, as well as hit Durham in the left shoulder, causing his arm to most likely break and become useless, and for Tyson's weapons to be his once again. "Red!" Desmond called, pushing aside the angry mob of Townsfolk. "Pick up your bloody guns!"
Super Chaos Sonic
Tyson wasn't real happy about his predicament...not at all like he planned. A miracle would help right now... he thought, looking up with a sigh. BANG! Red vs Blue Season 9 OST - Extraction As if on command, the ropes that bound Tyson, Gaius, and Jericho were shot off. He quickly turned his head and saw Desmond, as pushed away the townsfolk. "Wondered when you'd appear on the scene, Desmond!" he said with a chuckle. Tyson swept his leg behind him and caused Jack to fall. He noticed Durham's arm out of commission as he quickly grabbed his guns. "HEY! Don't think you can-" Durham began. "SHORYUKEN!!" Tyson yelled, as he hit Durham upside the head with Scarlet in a random fashion. "Gaius! Ma'am! Get going and take care of the other gunmen! Same for..." he was about to mention the same to Desmond, but saw him trying to run off from the mob. "Um...yeah just do that..." "A lucky ass shot kid..." Tyson heard, as he was kicked in the back, swiftly turning to see Jack cracking his knuckles. "C'mon kid...show me what the hell you got!" Tyson smirked a bit and placed his guns in their holsters as he rushed toward Jack, sending him a roundhouse kick, which was only met with Jack blocking it. He then went for a series of punches, but Jack was doing better at dodging than Tyson thought. "Stop trying to hit me and hit me, you f***in' kid!!" Jack said, delivering a perfect roundhouse kick to Tyson's face, causing him to spit up some blood. "Give it up, you suck at this!!" "Please...just getting started!!" Tyson chuckled, as he rushed with another punch.
Raine
Gaius crashed hard on the floor, his bonds now loose. A sour expression was found on his face, a swirl of hate and simple annoyance flustered aimed at Tyson. He just wanted some extra cash, not get caught up in all this mayhem. Gaius pushing himself up when Tyson barked at him to take care of the other gunman. A sigh escaped, "Son of a b****, if it wasn't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all...," his hands retrieved his dirt covered pistol. Now on his feet, D'amigo brushed off his pant legs noting Tyson going berserk, striking with a wild speed. Gaius tilted his head then looked into his hand, why is he fighting by hand when we have these... he choose to ignore the topic for now. Yelling broke Gaius from his thought, "On the ground!". He looked around, during his daydreaming those gunman Gaius didn't have any intention of fighting had surrounded him and were poised to strike at any resistance. He couldn't fight them, they had him outnumbered and surrounded. He should surrender but the thought of being captured three times in such a short period of time didn't really appeal to him. The yelling came again, "Put down the gun!" the guard stepped forward slowly. Gaius whispered, "I hate all of you..." "Bullet...," one gunman broke formation and charged with the butt of his rifle, "Rhapsody..." in a lightning reflex Gaius tossed his arm around the changing man's neck pulling back to put him in a hold. One gunman reacted and fired, however the hostaged man was used as a body shield and took the bullet. Gaius raised his free hand to return fire. Two shots, one pierced the attacking gunman's left shoulder the second, further down and to the right, striking above his heart severing the artery. Hell broke loose, initial fire came quickly surrounded it was impossible to get cover but Gaius forced his knees to give out. His body dropped to the ground, as his eyes rang as fire came overhead. The surround must have seemed like a good idea at first, but without a proper target the guns fired towards their own allies. Desperate but attentive, Gaius noticed at least 4 gunman fall. Still, no rest for the wicked. Gaius rolled over to his stomach and fired wildly in between 2 gunman stunned by killing their own allies, dropping them too to the dust. This was his chance, Gaius struck his boot into the ground propelling himself forward as the hail of bullets resumed. He dove through a nearby window, as pain shot up through his body. His landing was less than elegant as his hands pressed over his thigh, he was shot. The pain was intense but not new, he could still move. Stressing, Gaius dragged his injured body to the corner gaining a clear view of the window and door into the building. His hand twitching over his pistol, he's worthless until his leg clots and numbs up. These people do this all the time? "f***ing monsters, Tyson, Jack, Desmond, I think he called him..." a grunt came from him... then he broke out a chuckle, "I need a drink..." Super Chaos Sonic
Tyson was sent back by a swift kick in the gut by Jack. D-Damn....gonna feel that one in the morning... he thought as he slowly got up and then quickly took out Diablo and shot something by Jack. What he shot was the Sandsteamer's controls...and with out them...they were destined to crash. For the time being, they were on a course for City Hall. "Heh, your not as bad as the rumors said you were 'Jack of All Trades'!" Tyson chuckled, putting Diablo back in its holster. He jumped off the sandsteamer and tumbled onto the ground, as he slowly stood up, finally watching the sandsteamer crash into the city hall. A huge explosion appeared as the building and sandsteamer collided, killing off half of the men Jack brought with him. Tyson slowly moved towards the burning building and rubble. "I know something like that would've have killed you! Quit hiding!!" His yelling didn't seem to help...but finally something happened. Some rubble moved away and Jack was seen standing up a bit bruised and bloody. ListenToLife
While Tyson was duking it out martial-arts style with Jack, Desmond found himself the prime target of an angry mob. And as such, was in a bit of a predicament. An Angry mob is often an under-estimated force, especially when targetted towards the good guys. They are unrelenting, angry and armed (albeit with mild weaponry like pitchforks); but most importantly, they're invulnerable when facing a protagonist. For a protagonist can never attack an innocent. And so, Desmond was faced with a Dilemna, where his only option seemed to be fleeing. Luckily, the gunshots had seemed to distract the crowd enough for him to escape its borders, but not long enough for him to go into hiding, so instead he was chased by a group of about 10 angry men, straight down the main street. If he could just reach the city hall, perhaps he could stage a defense there. Barricade the doors and scare them off with bullet shots. Alas, that seemed impossible. For at that moment, a group of 5 gunmen - presumably loyal to the Jack - appeared from the side of the City Hall, armed with Rifles, stopping Desmond in his tracks. He was stuck, with a gang of men behind and in front of him. But what was that? A nervous twitch? Yes, one of the gunmen in front of him seemed to have a restless trigger finger. One sudden jolt or scare could cause him to shoot unwillingly. And so, as if moving to drop his gun, Desmond aimed it at the floor and pulled, shooting his last bullet from that round into the ground. Sure enough, as soon as that shot rang out, the youngest of the gunmen in front of him - the boy with the nervous twitch - fired accidentally, the bullet skimming past Desmond and hitting one of the men behind him in the calf, causing him to collapse. This had the reaction of turning the angry mob on the riflemen, allowing Desmond run off to the side and turn back around to where the other Gunslingers like himself appeared to be having trouble with some Gunmen. He jogged back to the centre of town, quickly reloading his pistol, and started shooting, taking out at least one man with every bullet. But Jack had certainly brought an Army; it seemed like an endless horde of riflemen were approaching them. Turning his head slightly towards Tyson, he called out, "You got any smart ideas, kid? We seem to be at a disadvantage."
Jake the Sage
The crash had rattled Jack's brains a bit, the building toppling on top of him. If Jack had been anyone else besides the Dealer's Hand or the Dealer himself they would have been completely crushed to death. Thankfully Jack was one of those few individuals who didn't die when you dropped a building on them. Pushing himself up out of the rubble he took a shaky step out, bleeding on the ground, but his eyes were cold with a death glare right at Tyson. Wiping his mouth and spitting a disgusting mixture of blood and saliva into the ground beside him Jack kept staring at Tyson, bringing his hands back up to show he was still ready to continue beating the sh*t out him, "Come here you little b*tch!" Leaning forward and rushing Tyson he leaped, bringing his knee to slam into his opponent's stomach hard enough it knocked the wind out of him. As he began to slow down from the impact Jack brought his other arm to lock Tyson in a headlock, twisting him around so that a loud pop was heard and all feeling in Tyson's right side vanished. Holding Tyson up Jack spat blood in his face, "I guess it's appropriate I tell ya I never planned on letting this town survive without you." Slamming his fist into Tyson's side the loud ring of a gunshot pierced Tyson's ear, the beginning dull pain of the bullet ripping through his stomach spreading.Letting Tyson go Jack turned and whistled to alert his surviving men that they were retreating to a safe distance so the others could destroy Jenora Rock. With everyone gathering together on their Sandstreamers Jack took one last look back at Tyson as he slid to the ground, "Tell Satan I said . . . 'hello' . . ." BOOM! Cannon fire- but not the kind that Jack had been expecting. Instead of destroying a building or killing the town's population this cannon shot had killed all of HIS men. Starring in disbelief at the mangled corpses of his own men Jack flinched when another cannon shot nearly tore him in half, looking up at the hill with wide eyes filled with pure rage, "What are those fools doing!? Do they even know they just fired at their own boss!?" Yeah the person who began shooting the cannons knew exactly who he was shooting at. But it wasn't one of Jack's men, they were all dead. Tilting the last of the cannons into place and pulling the cord, missing a fleeing Jack, Russel finished his bottle of alcohol and slipped down beside a woman choking on her own blood; smirking as he leaned over her outstretched arm he tugged a shattered bottle out of a dead man's pocket and put it to his lips, "Hush babe and let me enjoy this until your boss gets here . . ." Super Chaos Sonic
"I'll tell ya when I think of something, Desmond...now get going!" Tyson ordered as he saw Jack rushing toward him, proceeding to knee his stomach. Then an headlock happened, and then he felt something pop...and numbness on his right side. Tyson yelled in pain until Jack spat blood on his...and then the gun shot. D-Damn.... he thought holding his stomach quickly, as he fell to ground, coughing up blood. "T-Tell him y-your-...yourself..." Tyson coughed. Then that's when he saw the cannons shooting Jack's men. A-Another miracle? H-Heh...guess...the m-man upstairs...is h-helping...afterall... Tyson thought, as he slowly staggered to get on his feet, using a nearby building to hold him up. "J-Jack...Jack..." he said, in a groaning manner. "W-Where'd ya run off to...J-Jack? S-Someone's...gotta say hi...to the devil..."
ListenToLife
Retreating backwards away from the approaching men, he found himself the target of a miracle; cannon fire wiping out his pursuers. Seems like luck was back on their side, with almost all of Jack's men dead, the surviving few running as fast as they could from the scene, in order to survive the fire of the cannons, alongside the denizens of the town, abandoning their streets once again. Within but a few minutes, Jack and the gunslingers were the only living people on the main street, though each of them seemed to have their fare share of injuries. Desmond turned to watch as Jack emerged from the ruins of the town hall, injured but angered, able to move through sheer will. He was unable to do much as he watched Jack beat the crap out of Tyson; his left hand was caked in blood as it grasped tightly onto his right upper arm, which was also painted red from one gun shot to his arm. His primary shooting arm, hindering his ability to shoot. So instead, he merely leant himself against an upright barrel beside him, slowly sliding into a sitting position, with his pistol on the floor between his legs. He took a deep inhale and slowly breathed out, closing his eyes and resting his head back onto the barrel, cursing quietly to himself as he contemplated what they had done to the poor town. So much for improving his reputation. He took a slight sigh and looked down at the gun between his legs. Strange how such a dangerous weapon could become so weak with the mildest of changes. He hadn't even needed to look at Tyson to know what had happened when the gunshot rang out but five minutes before. Nor did he even flinch. It was what a life like this did to you. But what it also did to you, was make you determined. Emotions were gone, hope all but destroyed. But determination remained, the only thing left when the killer instinct took over. Which was what Desmond was reminded as, when Tyson rose from his wounds. A gun wound in the gut, and yet he had still managed to stand up and attempt to return the favour to Jack. "Stupid kid, trying to show us up." Desmond muttered under his breath, sighing again and pushing himself up off of the floor, ripping a small strip of his shirt off in order to stem the bleeding, tying a makeshift bandage with the cloth. It quickly grew red, but the flow of blood from the wound had slowed enough for Desmond to rejoin the fight, lifting his gun with his left hand and pointing it towards Jack. But he was slightly thrown off by more cannon fire, his bullet soaring way to the left of his target. Cursing, Desmond slowly reloading his revolver, merely picking up one bullet. It'll be all I need. He thought hopefully as he approached the shocked Jack, he seemed more preoccupied on the cannon fire targetted at him. Admiral_Stalfos19
Nova skidded to a halt. At first, she wanted to confront the crew of the Dunecrawler and bolt into their heads that she was their ally, but when she saw the state of it, her eyes widened in disbelief. How could someone blow up such a magnificent machine as the Dunecrawler? And more importantly... why would someone blow it up? Sure, it was a threat, but if it were to be completely hijacked, it could be a threat to Tyson and the gang as well. Sighing, Nova hopped off the Sandstreamer and observed the wreckage of the Dunecrawler.
