I've read this manga, and yeah it is amazing. I liked how the Kanto E4 came off as antagonistic and the Kanto gym badges serving as important to the plot.

Yea, that is one of my favorite things about the manga. The gym leaders and E4 do stuff.

When you hear about the manga forms of pokemon your first instinct is to just write it off. Um, yea, don't do that with this one. It is AMAZING. It is literally the game's story only more in depth and detailed. If you at all a fan of pokemon you need to read this. It is that simple.
It's never came off as that to me. The protagonists don't always get the badges, some gym leaders were in team rocket, the E4 are antagonistic, etc. This means I can never see GSC as having the game's story, if I had to choose one. And the characters are literally different, not just more detailed, Diamond and pearl I mean, are a manzai team and Berlitz is rich.

But this is the first pokemon manga I heard about, so trying it first would lead me to believe others were good too, but nah. At any rate, it is good.

I've read it and it was amazing. It was different take on the Pokemon universe. Though, I did stop halfway through the GSC arc for some reason.

That happened to me as well, I really need to continue reading.

That happened to me with DPP. =o And I don't plan to continue until finishing K-ON! and catching up with Yumekui Merry.

It is pretty epic. Bit gutted they seemed to have missed the RSE saga. Although I was never inspired by any of the gym leaders really.

I have DPPt 6 to read (only just got it). I enjoyed the series so much I couldn't stick to 3 volumes a month. Need to sort their ass out on Black and White though.

Really enjoyed the RBY and GSC arcs, like the bird fusion and Pryce was a badass villain. Enjoyed Blue and Silver throughout the whole series.

I actually meant to read this sometime, but I got distracted by ReBURST.
I actually meant to read that one time too, but I got distracted by even more of this. They're doing arcs for every main game, and
This manga's pretty pro. I'd say it's very deserving of an anime adaption.
this is very much agreeable.

It is pretty much my favorite pokemon universe. Even the creator said it was the adaptation that was closer to picturing the world he wanted to create.

I wouldn't mind it if they dropped the anime for this.
The regular one has too many flaws. I want to have different perspectives, time progressing, Gym leaders and Elites and champions being relevant to plots, and main characters actually being able to with their leagues and capture legendaries.

Maybe Ash could exist with the only [s]region[/s] place he ever won. Orange Islands =P
Along with anime-only Tracey and Richie as his companions... and Jessie and James as the enemies.

Now we gotta come up with 4 extra gym leaders and a separate proffessor, and an elite 4 group.
and of course, it'll be the only region without new pokemon...
...
........

Just going to throw this out their now, new the middle of the G/S/C arc and a few random times past that the page ordering gets REALLY bad. You can figure out how it should go, but it is a pain.

And yea, while I haven't actually gone to a book store to buy manga in months, I agree that if you can buy the volumes, do so. Support the things that you enjoy.

It's one of the mangas I'd buy, though there are no bookstores around me anymore =(

I had trouble with the online manga too, some sites suddenly skipped a few dozen episodes that I needed to find in another site, and then someone scanning them made them look really blurry and opaque and stuff... Then sometimes I think seemed to read from left to right and then change at who knows what point....

but the manga is good, and the people do that for free so, I guess nothing to complain really.
I am looking forward to seeing the old main characters from all other regions sinse I for a moment thought that Diamond and Pearl was now a separate thing for some reason...

Yea, reading through it was a bit of a pain cause of all the different people that had scanned it, but imo it was worth it.
