Love of Ghibli
As the large group seemed to be gathering in one place they were all suddenly ambushed by flashes. But these weren't malevolent flashes signalling an enemies attack an experienced socialite like Henry already knew they were camera flashes. While everyone else was seemingly dazed and confused Henry's innate ability to smile for the camera could not have shown more vigorously. As the flashes were going off confetti started to rain down on the kids. In a somewhat hilarious coincidence buildings were still catching on fire and people were still screaming for their lives as rubble and debris was falling from all the damage the guild did. Congratulations shouted a very familiar voice from behind the flashes. You did great! Once the flashes stopped everyone could see that it was Simon with a bag of confetti and a randomly elaborate camera setup. You freed the prisoner, took out the security array...well I guess its destroyed after all of that...and defeated a large portion of an army. All without forcing two lands to go to war. You all have done this guild proud. Simon was gleaming with joy though it didn't look like everyone else was. That was expected though, they should have been tired fighting such extensive and arduous battles. But what was important was the photo finish with the captured daughter. So children should we get going? He looked around at the mixed faces of everyone. He noticed that Le'Crux had a giant bug thing with him. Hmmm okay. I won't bother to ask what's that about, word to the wise though, make sure father doesn't see it. He has an appetite for insects for some odd reason. There are medical bays on the ship so when you get beamed up you can just ask the crew and they will direct you as for the giant bug I assume you can shrink that thing down to proper size. If not I am sure you will figure something out. Everyone was surrounded beam of light and was beamed up to the ship. People who were in need of medical attention we kept in separate rooms and being tended to and having their magical energies replenished. Simon on the other hand was having a little sit down with discussion in the panoramic briefing room. Why do I have to do this? Because you got caught why else? Gosh this sucks ,those three girls triple teamed me in a bar, its not fair none of this would have happened if I had fought them one one one. But that's not what happened is it? You got into a fight and now we came to save you. SAVE ME! I ended up saving those two girls back there and I saw one of your dudes memories. What a fuster cluck of human beings you have in this guild. Sad thing is I don't even think we finished off those girls. Simon who had been simply tolerating this girls attitude then raised an inquisitive eyebrow. What? I mean they could easily sneak into Fiore and try again when they are stronger. What are you talking about? Well we didn't properly finish off either of the two girls I saw and I doubt the third one is any different.. Simon's eyes glanced back towards former castle Roodpart and he let out a small incidental sigh. Well I shall note the proper authorities that you are safe. For your comfort I'll have the ship on cruise control so it will take a much longer time to get to back to Fiore go have some rest. The rooms in this ship are quite lovely. Piper hemmed and hawed as got up and walked back to some random room which she claimed as her own. Then all of the members in the guild would hear Simon's voice in their heads. Well everyone I think its time we slow it down for a little while. I am sure some of you adrenaline junkies get can't wait to get started on another mission but I think it is best to let your bodies rest up for a while so sit back and relax as the ship will be slowed down so we reach Fiore in about half a day. Once again great job everyone. His chimed out as if his smile was audible. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Henry was getting bandaged up in one of the medical spaces inside the ship but he entirely quiet the whole time. He wasn't his usual cheery perky self he was traumatized. For whatever reason Kazuya had just mercilessly slaughtered the poor girl and was going to kill her. What's worse is that the girl was really trying to defend her home if anything the guild was the one who came in and started smashing everything. Nevertheless the thought of what Kazuya might have done had Henry not been conscious to stop him just plagued his thoughts. He hadn't spoken to Kazuya since that entire incident happen. Sure he heard the man apologize but still it was pretty hard to bare. Henry decided it would be best to simply sleep on the issue. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After about a half hour of pure flying back at what remained of castle Roodpart walking down an empty hallway would be the defeated Cosine sisters. Well two were simply propping up the urine soaked, barely breathing corpse known as Sylvia. This is pathetic none of this would have happened had I'd been on guard duty like I suggested in the first place. Silence harlot you know that if it was an actual army it would have been best keep Sylvia away from any real combat. Gallate's face went somber though I can't understand what on Earth could have done this to her and left her alive. It doesn't matter when we're rested we're going to fly to Fiore and get so much revenge and I this time I'll be taking the kid gloves off. Arga said quite boastfully. Suddenly they heard footsteps that wasn't their own and a man was walking down the hallway with a cane ever so gentlemanlike. Oh do the multiply natures of villainy do swarm upon him... T'was Simon as he looked at the defeated ladies. They looked back but it was a slight fear that they knew he was light years away from them in skill. You were the one who summoned the Angels earlier? I see your powers of observation serve you well. He examines Gallate holding Sylvia's staff and tilts his head. And oh do thine own eyes deceive me there was my goal all along. Gallate and Arga wanted to stop Simon from walking closer but there basic will to live simply overtook their need to fight. Simon seemingly took Sylvia's staff and destroyed it only leaving the jewel which he kept for himself. He glanced at Sylvia as he simply walked passed the ladies. Hmmm that must be Kazuya's work. I must say that boy does have potential.
ANBU
As the lights began to flash around them Kazuya looked for the source quietly, seeing no sort of threat as confetti then rained down around them, screams heard in the background as the buildings burnt and fell apart. As Simon's voice was heard Kazuya went back to looking at the ground, only slightly paying attention to Simon as he thought of how he had acted back inside. As he was beamed onto the ship Kazuya found himself in a room without any of the other guild members he knew, staff from the ships medical bay, as he assumed they had to have been, began to bandage him and work on healing him from the wounds he had acquired in the battle with the female who was likely still in extremely bad condition from the torturous magic he used. Kazuya stayed quiet as his wounds were tended to, not looking at anyone inside the room and keeping his red eye towards the ground as he waited to arrive back at the large building owned by the guild. As he waited for the ship to arrive he heard Simon again, saying that they would be going slower and that they would arrive in half a day, something Kazuya had appreciated as it gave him time to get himself together before going back inside with the others. TotalObelisk
Luna looked at the buy with as much disgust as usual as Le'Crux introduced them, all that went through Luna's mind was 'Terrific, something else to annoy me!' She ignored his offer to help her to her feet and turned away to glare at something else, as soon as she did so a bright flash shone in front of her and she threw both arms up over her eyes. "The f***!?" She swore aloud, her photophobia getting the better of her. Once the flashes stopped she looked up to see Simon, a look of rage crossing her face but in absolutely no position to do anything about it. She merely settled on glaring at him in anger until the group was transported back to the ship. Once Luna woke up again she found herself alone in one of the rooms aboard the ship lying atop a small bed, her rage quickly giving way as she lay back. She still couldn't feel her legs and she expected it would take a while for them to recover, she turned her head to one side and spotted something along her arm, just barely visible where the glove had been torn apart by the bat lady's magic. She sat up quickly and stripped the ruined glove off her arm, exposing a series of thick black lines going along her arm, curving slightly as they went and ending at her fingers, she took off her other glove and saw identical marks along her other arm. She stared at the marks in confusion for a moment, puzzling over them. She knew very little about her own abilities or how they worked so this served to just confuse her further, no doubt she'd get some answers if she stuck with the guild eventually but right now she hadn't the faintest idea what it could mean. She heaved a sigh and lay back down, staring up at the cieling and waiting for her legs to wake up again.
SunKistRebelution
Le'Crux shrugged off Luna's gesture of ungratefulness and contempt. To the side he saw a flicker of light and heard Locksley shriek. As he turned, the big man saw the flashing cameras and shiny confetti as it oddly contrasted with the background and the people who were still in the process of dealing with the situation. He groaned, it was tough to hide his empathy. The islander had once endured war and strife in his own homeland, and he felt deeply for those who suffered because of his actions, whether directly or indirectly. As a gesture of good faith, he instructed all the nearby mounds of Medic Ants to give medical care to the wounded, as discreetly as possible. For his own wounds, he syphoned a few of them to accompany him and Locksley. The Entymancer enjoyed the company of his critters. They were not judgmental or harsh and did not lie or deceive. The critters just existed in an unadulterated, pure existence, free from the corruption that runs rampant among the masses of humankind. Shrugging off his emotions, concerns and philosophical ponderings, Le'Crux put on his infamous facade: that cocky smirk resumed its position emblazoned on his face. The next thing he knew, they were up in the airship. Le'Crux had refused nearly all offered medical assistance. He was an islander, not a mainlander. He didn't believe in their unnatural medicines. The islander preferred natural things with god-given medicinal properties. After the medics had worn him down, he had finally accepted intravenous fluids as a compromise. If there was something the Medic Ants he had taken along with him couldn't fix, it was hydrating the big man. This the big man had to admit. He also had to admit that, as a large fellow who had just finished some serious exertion, he had lost a lot of water sweating and was starting to feel it. As Le'Crux laid there on the bed with three separate IVs, he drifted off to sleep. There was no rest in this, however. This was a fitful sleep, filled with nightmares and dark memories of suffering and loss. When he awoke some time later, the giant-man mage found himself sweating all over again. He ripped out his IVs and stormed off with no real aim. The big man eventually stumbled across some sort of recreational room with training equipment. Le'Crux grinned devilishly and sauntered over to the punching bag. He began a long session of boxing and martial arts exercises as he tried to forget. Just forget. He guided his mind toward other matters. One of which, was the warning from Simon. The Entymancer would not stand for Talon eating his new companion. Especially since Locksley was such a rare and prized insect. He also had to find some way to carry the bug efficiently. A thought struck the islander: Dune had a large container. It stands to reason that he could make an adequate carrying case for Le'Crux's critters. After this thought, he stopped and looked over for his companions. The Weta was busy conversing with the Ants about some territorial dispute where Locksley had supposedly defeated an entire swarm of hornets. Supposedly. Aix
Dune regarded Le'Crux's new friend with indifference. It was useful. That was all. Though, Le'Crux seemed quite fond of it. Dune slept for a while in the medical ward, waiting for his injuries to heal some more. His torso was covered in bandages from the cuts and wounds inflicted by Gallate's sword. "That bastard," he thought to himself. "I gotta get stronger, I couldn't even beat a single girl like her." He sat up, ignoring the spasms of pain from movement, and crossed his legs in a meditative position. His magnets flew out of the gourds on his bedside table. Dune started to train, he concentrated on achieving more powerful magnetism and higher speeds in his magnets. They whirled around his room at a speed where they almost simply seemed like translucent orbits. Two magnets crashed together with a resounding clang. There was a small shockwave exuded. Dune smiled satisfactory at this result. He began to change the pattern to train his accuracy. He may not be able to completely pierce someone like Gallate's armor but he thought "What if I directed my magnets to clamp down on her sword and restrict it or if she is too strong, redirect it?" To do something like that he needed to be fast and accurate. He practiced by creating a sword out of Quicksteel and slashing it around the room while he tried to stop it with his other magnets. He frowned. It was hard to concentrate like so, as he was doing two things at the same time. Dune got off his bed and trampled down the hall, looking through doors (he caught a glimpse of a very irritable-looking Luna), until he located Le'Crux. "Hey, wanna help me with something?"
a bad post
Once they had finally gathered it seemed that the chaos had not ended as they were assaulted be flashes and confetti. It was soon revealed to them though that it was Simon, who had done this, infernal machines,Park said as she was momentarily blinded, by all they flashing lights, how ironic that she was a light-user though. Noticing the screams, and explosions going on as an aftermath of the of her and her guildmates battles Park muttered under her breath, how appropriate confetti why don't we ask if the dying people want some, maybe we should give them party hats. Knowing Simon though he would probably here her, and send her off to give the enemy some confetti, but as they were teleported back to the ship it seemed as Simon hadn't heard her. Park found the first room she could get to and just collapsed, this was a crazy day and that was an understatement. She had been stripped by a crazed bat woman, saved by the person she had been sent to save, and if that wasn't enough zapped by a riddle. Other than that Park had had a simply magnificent day, and besides the fact that her magic was totally drained. I will have to discuss with Simon that missions should, from now on, preferably avoid crazed strip crazy female bat women, and if we ever have to encounter them, then I want to be far away when it happens. Speaking of Agra Park still had to change her clothes, and fix herself up. So picking her tired body off the ground she began looking for a new set of clothes that she could wear, unfortunately she didn't, but she did find several spools of string, so locking the door and taking of her and pieces of clothing that were damaged Park set to work fixing her damaged clothing. It was sometime later that she would finish, and putting her clothes back on, but keeping the door locked guarded from men, Park fell into a deep sleep with her last conscious thought being, that woman has probably scared me for life.
SunKistRebelution
Sweating and panting, Le'Crux halted his workout session at Dune's question. The big man looked up at the guy before adjusting his facial expression to one that reflected more of a pondering. For a few seconds, no reply was uttered as the islander walked over to the water cooler in the room, got himself a drink and dried off some of his sweat with a towel. Finally, the internal decision had been made, or at least progressed, Depends, magnet-man. What's in it for me? Secretly, Le'Crux hoped that Dune had no plans for any sort of reward for the giant-man mage's assistance. This was due to the fact that he already had a plan of his own, of sorts, for what to ask him for in return. It was a simple enough request. All that the big man wanted was a reasonably comfortable container and/or carrying case for his critters. The largest problem would be Locksley. The Consumer Weta's size and weight, as well as its rambunctiousness, would provide a challenge for any sort of craftsman whose trade involved a lighter material. It was all the better that Le'Crux could assist Mr. Solkaz in order to earn such a favor. He didn't like to be in anyone's debt and preferred to earn that which he received. He reiterated his interrogative reply with a simple, So?
Aix
Dune creased his eyebrows at the request, then smirked at the man. "You'll get the honour of assisting me, how's that? I'm trying to practice magic, I need someone to take some swings at me. That hammer of yours should do the job fine." He paused to ponder as he realized there seemed to be some ulterior motive. "If you really want a reward... I don't know. I'm a magical craftsman as well, how's that? I'll make little something for ya. Besides, you're my ally. Anything you use will help me anyway. What do you want? A new hammer... I'm not sure if I can quite match the quality of that one, though I can improve that one's quality a bit, some fights are won by the tiniest margin, besides, to improve something already good requires some pretty expensive material. However, something smaller should be fine. A magic mirror? Wanna see how that face of yours look with a little make-up? I can do plenty." Dune shrugged. He took a ready stance. "C'mon. Have a go. I'll be able to take anything you throw at me if what I'm trying fails anyway," he said confidently. SunKistRebelution
How about this, Le'Crux countered, You make my critters a nice little home I can carry around with me in exchange. Deal? Per his usual routine of question-asking, the big man waited not for any semblance of a reply and charged right ahead. In this particular case, swinging his hammer as he magically manipulated it to be a rather high density, as well as be consisting of non-magnetic metals and other materials. This way, Dune would have to make use of very high velocity objects to stop and/or block his blows. Dune was excellently evading and guarding the heavy-handed blows of Le'Crux, which slightly frustrated the islander. He was used to superiority. He did not appreciate this. He decided to fight a wee bit dirtier. The giant-man mage now began to undergo his constantly density shifting attack style. When utilizing this, extreme focus was required. This is due to the fact that the wielder of Termite is constantly switching the density of the weapon to a very low one at the beginning of a swing and raising it drastically before collision. This strategy was intended to inflict the most damage with the smallest input of work/effort by the weapon's wielder. Anything, hunh? Yeah, sure.
TotalObelisk
Luna didn't even notice that she had fallen asleep until she woke up some time later, she hadn't even bothered crawling under her bedsheets and had simply dozed off on top of them. Heaving a sigh she sat up and looked down at her arms, noticing that the black marks were still there. She gave a shrug and tested her legs to see if she could move them again and was pleased to find that she could, though they had begun to ache slightly as she stood up and stretched. She caught sight of a full length mirror on one wall and examined herself in front of it, noting how tattered her clothes had become. "I need a bloody shower," she muttered, wiping a bit of grime off her face. She didn't even know where the showers on this damn ship were, if it even had any, she'd probably just have to wait till they got back to the mansion. She stood in front of the mirror for a moment and raised her arms, faint black sparks crackling about them as she waved her arms over herself, shadows crawling along her body and repairing her clothes to their regular state. At least my magic is working again, Luna thought to herself. She didn't know how long she'd been asleep for so she had no idea how long it would be till they arrived back at the mansion. Until then she'd have to find a way to kill some time, ordinarily she'd scan through the pages of her father's book but she'd left it back at the mansion since they'd left for their mission so quickly. She decided to go for a walk to help her legs recover, she ship was big enough for her to wonder around aimlessely after all. She took a step outside her room and began walking down the hallway not really paying any attention to where she was going and losing herself in her own thoughts. She heard the sounds of fighting somewhere nearby and followed them to a room where she found Dune and Le'Crux sparring with each other. She paused by the doorway to watch, not actually having seen either of them in action during the mission aside from the massive destruction they had caused between them. If they destroy this ship before we're back at that damn mansion I'll kill them both, she thought to herself.
Love of Ghibli
The ship was in cruise control going nowhere near as it could and Simon was doing the extra service of going around and making his rounds on the ship. He could feel the frustration of young Park which made him chuckle, he felt the despair that was oozing out of Henry's room Hmmm we'll have to take a look at that later, and then saw the two boys sparring. This simply made him shrug. Watching two boys go at it trying to improve their skills and master new techniques does sound like a very noble venture and possibly entertaining as well. As he watched for a couple of seconds one of the attendants came and reported that the ship had developed a bug infestation. Oh now that can't be true there's no way an insect would be on this ship...Oh right we have a bug user. It makes sense that he would bring his own supply of bugs with him. This could be a problem for when we have to get back home. Daddy is not particularly kind to insects, but we will work something out. He walked along the ship and left the bug situation alone. There would have to be some worked with the bug user later about his critters. So far everything was going smoothly. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Piper had grown quite bored of her tightly cramped room and decided to take a tour of the giant ship that she was aboard for no apparent reason she would eventually walk around and she found the immaculate facilities for women's bathing. There were hot tubs, a mini spa, and individual showers. It seemed as if this place was another world entirely. What she didn't know is that this ship was a luxury cruise ship used by many a dark guild and forces of the Underworld and very frequently the Bane family. Unfortunately for those evil doers when the Bane family decided to go legit all of the witnesses had to mysteriously disappear. Needless to say there was a bloody struggle and there weren't that many survivors. Those that survived now serve as the staff and crew of the Bane families possessions. Anywho Piper has situated her naked body and took a stress free bath with the aroma of the active soaps and scents permeating the halls.
Aix
Dune dodged the first of Le'Crux's strikes, he fell into a rhythm and got used to Le'Crux's pattern of attack. Then, he brought out the magnets to try and clamp down on Le'Crux's hammer as he swung, but he kept on missing just by a bit, like when you drop a ruler between your two fingers and try to catch it. Multiple times, he just very barely dodged the hammer. He kept on trying, thinking to get better at it. It was of no use. If he was getting better, there wasn't a very obvious improvement. He told Le'Crux to stop for a moment to let him think of another way, then it came to him. "Alright, continue." Again, he dodged the first few strikes but then, it seemed like by miracle, his magnets suddenly clamped down on Le'Crux's hammer. It didn't stop the hammer, its momentum was too great to completely stop, but Dune was able to redirect it this time to miss him. "All right!" he cheered. He released the magnets and gestured for Le'Crux to continue. After two swings, once again, the hammer was clamped and Dune was able to control it enough to stop it from hitting him. He grinned happily. "What I did was make a trigger of sorts, when your hammer gets to a certain point, it triggers the trap and the magnets are timed to exactly be able to clamp down! Now, it'll be much easier to fight people like Gallate. Though, I suppose someone of her level is still too fast for me... I suppose I'll get her if she tries lunging, which is a lot more predictable." He paused and looked at Le'Crux. "So, I'm guessing you want some sort of cage for them?" He glanced at the Consumer Weta. "Can you make him shrink or do you need some sort of dimensional capsule so that you can carry him around?"
SunKistRebelution
With that lacrima in his belly, I'm pretty sure he can shrink himself. Do whatever feels right, as long as I can carry it. Now I'm gonna go nap. With this last declaration, Le'Crux and company walked past Simon, who looked strangely at his critters, then past Luna, who glared at him with a palpable sense of disapproval. He hadn't known that many people were watching or he would've swung as fast as possible. Granted he was still going at about 80-85%, but making an impression is everything for someone who values intimidation and the islander most certainly did value it. Oh well, I still need at least a little rest, he thought to himself. It seemed the big man himself hadn't realize the truthfulness of his last statement, because as soon as he got to his room, he climbed onto the bed. Then, as soon as his head hit the pillow, he was in dream-land, waiting for the call to come alerting him that they were at their destination. TotalObelisk
Luna hung about to watch the pair go at it, though their sparring match didn't last for much longer before Dune seemed to have accomplished what he wanted. Luna quickly lost interest and left, diliberatly walking in the opposite direction to where Le'Crux was going. The ship seemed oddly empty and quiet to Luna, it was a fairly large ship though so she didn't let this both her too much. In her absent wanderings she soon caught wind of the smell of bath soaps coming from further down the hall. F*cking finally, she thought to herself, she needed something to help her forget her fight with that annoying bat lady. She made her way to the door the smell was coming from and stepped through finging herself in probably the most lavish bath room she had ever seen, the word bathroom didn't even apply to it, it was more like a spa. "I guess being in a guild does have advantages," she muttered to herself. As she wandered through the room she came across Piper in one of the hot tobs, pausing a few feet away as she spotted her, her expression darkening slightly. "Oh, it's you,"
Love of Ghibli
Piper with her hair wrapped in a towel, eyes closed, finally earning a little bit of relaxation noticed this little intruder. Oh it was the one with attitude. Yes, its me she said with slight annoyance as she simply let Luna get her soak in. It would be an odd conversation seeing as Piper not only saved her life when she was the one who was supposed to be saved, but due to the use of Piper's magic Piper incidentally knows about Luna's past. But that wasn't the time for this they were in a spa, might as well take care of themselves. That and they both had the traumatic experience of being nearly molested to death by a sadistic horny bat lady, if anything they should be bonding right now. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Time seemed to pass slowly for our young guildmates as the massive ship was in cruise control flying over the lands. But eventually all good things must come to an end as everyone in their respective rooms and whatnot. The ship was slowly flying over the lands of Fiore and if they looked out their windows they would be able to see it. They were in their homeland. Slowly they approached the mansion grounds and as the ship was landing Henry's wonder and amazement returned to him as he watched the mansion from a birds eye view get closer and closer. In the grand scheme of things he had just survived his first mission and he officially had his first adventure with the guild. How could one not be happy about that. Despite the fact that one of his members is a bipolar sociopath that has memory triggers. He was already showered and dressed for landing because his family has always warned him of such. In a weird twist of events the guild was not dropped off on the roof the same way they arrived in fact the were merely teleported to the front of the mansion. As they landed they would notice one thing. PAPARAZZI!!! Yes news cameras, news people, reporters, children everyone had assaulted them with microphones, cameras, and other various recording devices. Simon making sure he was the last one to be dropped off watched as these kids dealt with a new kind of enemy...the media. He couldn't help but laugh at the various reactions these young ones had towards the media. This was only logical of course Piper, the captured one, was rescued and while it was a stealthy mission (in name only apparently) someone slipped all of those pictures Simon took to the media. Devilish grin appears on Simon's face as anyone could logically figure out the second reason for having the ship slow down on its way back home. Someone has to give the paparazzi enough time to adequately set up for the arrival of the heroes. "What was it like?" "How long did it take to rescue the damsel in distress?" "What is your magic?" "Were there any strong enemies?" "If your actions started a war what would you do?" "If there was a war do you think Fiore would win?" The young lads were being barraged with questions and pictures left and right. Some appropriate...and of course some inappropriate it was truly a site to behold. But soon as enough pictures were deemed taken Talon himself opened the doors of the mansion and made an appearance. Animals in the immediate vicinity fled in terror. WELCOME HOME! He said with his usual triumphant and jolly old smile that no one would see thanks to giant dead animal skull he wears atop his head. You have done great work, now come in and let us rejoice. Pictures were taken as all of the mages walked in, Simon had naturally planned all of these mannerisms though. For it was his job as face of the guild to make sure it would always be seen in popular setting. He had to applaud his own work in this matter. As the group went inside though they would bare witness to a good 20 or so new people that would be prospective members of their guild. Simon smiled as the final recruitment stages of his plan had come to fruition. Next step time to milk some interviews. Everyone fell in line pretty quickly as Talon was about to make a grand speech. Members of Chimera Soul nay family! This is a momentous day...We averted a war! Thunderous applause was given to the six members of Chimera Soul and their guest Piper. Henry almost blushed as he was never the center of attention like this before. Now let this be the first of many great missions and conquest that this guild will be known for. As for you six. Talon pointed to the original six who were standing in front of the line and Chris appeared from behind them with envelopes. You should be thoroughly compensated for your adventure. They all received an equal share of the reward money. Should we show them the rare item father Chris asked nonchalantly. Talon's eyes lit up. Yes that would be splendid! Talon stuck out the his hand and from it a massive sword was slowly coming out. Of course it had to come out slowly because it almost as big as the mansion itself and it would be just as dense. Though Talon seemed to have no problem holding on to it. Its a knife meant for food preparation I think but I have yet to study it carefully. He said whirling it around almost killing people. Now you original six go forth and meet the new members of your family.
Aix
Dune didn't have his crafting stuff with him, anything he had was in his backpack and the rest he was hoping to purchase so he could only wait until they got back before starting on his gift to Le'Crux. He spent the rest of the time reading a tome he had picked up just before he had joined the guild on changing the very atomic properties of items. -------------------------------------------- Dune enjoyed the paparazzi and answered the crowds questions with his signature cockiness and made it sound as if he did pretty everything. He posed for shots and even gave signatures. It seemed out of his guild mates that he was the one enjoying it the most. He felt the dark aura of the Guildmaster and he turned suspiciously once more, only to comforted by the reassuring timbre of Talon's voice. Talon didn't seem to notice much as the crowd screamed as the giant sword swooshed above them. He looked forth at the new members picking out people who he believed looked strong, he was still carefully observing them when a giant stuffed dragon landed on him, knocking him flat. ------------------------------------------- "Woops," said Hugo, making a show of brushing himself off. "Sorry." He was drawn by the commotion and crash-landed, unfortunately on Dune. Hugo looked around at the surprised onlookers and shrugged, a gesture wasted under his plump costume. "Accident." Then, he looked over curiously at the person he knocked down. ------------------------------------------- "What... THE HELL!!!!" screamed Dune leaping up to confront the dragon. He launched a massive punch, sending the blue dragon flying. Then, he calmed down and brushed himself off. He glared at one spectator who's jaw was dropped and the person immediately backed away. After straightening out his clothes, he began to walk forward to meet the new guildmates. ------------------------------------------- Dune's punch was undeniably powerful, but Hugo literally felt nothing. He was completely protected by the puffiness and enchantments on his dragon suit. He flew back and, carefully this time, landed right behind Dune and smiled at Dune as he whirled around to face him. He pulled back the head of the dragon, revealing his face. He looked like a ten or twelve-year-old. "Sorry. It was an accident." Dune looked at the kid and nodded accepting the apology, before turning around again and completely ignoring the boy. Hugo looked around. "So, where is this place? What's going on?" he asked. One of the paparazzi responded. "You don't know? This is Chimera Soul! A guild that averted a war! That guy there, the one you just landed on, is a real superstar, man!" said a punk-like guy. "Man, I wish I was like that guy! You should've heard what he told us! He like friggin' took on an army on his own and owned them!" Another guy continued on what the first guy said and pointed at Talon. "That guy there's the guildmaster. You know magic right! You should go join!" Hugo nodded and flew right up to Talon, coming precariously close to crashing. "So can I join?"
TotalObelisk
Luna fell silent for a moment and allowed her expression to soften up slightly, she figured she should feel a little grateful that Piper had come in when she did but it still annoyed her, especially given that she'd made her entrance through Luna's mouth of all places. She found herself wondering where a person learnt that kind of bizarre magic. "Well...Thanks, I guess," she didn't look Piper in the eye as she said this, she wasn't used to thanking people and neither did she like owing people favours "Just don't use me as a f*cking door again." **** A while later Luna was finally beginning to calm down after having found the showers and managing to kill a few hours in there by herself. It looked as though they were finally arrived back at the guild mansion as she could see it out of the window. A moment later she felt herself being teleported back to the mansion with the others, appearing in front of the mansion's entrance where a series of bright flashes startled her, causing her to flinch. Once she looked up she noticed the crowd of people surrounding them, camera and mics in hand as well as excited looking onlookers. Luna stood dumbfounded for a moment before her expression shifted to a silent rage. I swear I am going to kill that b*stard when I get my hands on him! Luna thought, in her rage completely forgetting that Simon could wipe the floor with her in less than five seconds. She tried to ignore the barrage of people and questions now surrounding her, giving a dark glare to anyone that approached her as if daring them to give her a reason to shove their cameras down their throats. The chaos finally seemed to quieten down as she felt a familiar ominus presence emerge from within the mansion before the aura was completely shattered by the jolly voice of their guild master. "How the hell can someone be so irritatingly jolly and have such a dark aura?" Luna muttered to herself as she followed the rest back inside the mansion, glad to finally be rid of the paparazzi crowd. This didn't last long however as she quickly found another 20 or so people waiting inside the mansion, apparently being new recruits. Her mood wasn't much improved when they recieved the payment for their mission but it did make the situation slightly more bearable. "Tch, whatever," she muttered "I didn't come here to make friends." She immediately left the entrance hall and wandered back to her room, shutting the door a little harder than necessary behind her. She was still scowling when she sat down on the edge of her bed and let herself fall back onto the sheets to glare at the cieling. "If I'd known they'd be this disfunctional I wouldn't have bothered joining in the first place." She rolled onto her side, her eyes falling on her father's book still sitting on the bedisde table. She fell silent for a moment, her mood calmly down slightly when she remembered exactly why she was here in the first place. "It doesn't matter," she muttered "I'll just get what I need from the old guy and leave."
a bad post
Park awoke slightly drowzee from her long nap, that was very much needed, and it seems we have arrived back home, so it seems I will have no idle time. Good. Park began disembarking the boat only to be met by paparazzi... again. Really do these- was all Park got out before a microphone was shoved in her face, uhhh... my answer is, no. Please back off before I plant a roundhouse in your face. Why would I tell you that, disgusting pervert, back off. My magic is my business you heard me now get away I'm getting tired of you damn reporters. Those were all the responses Park gave before she rose above the rest of the crowd by jumping on one of the reporter's heads, I will say this once you vultures who call yourselves the news media, this has been a very trying day for me I will now ask you all to please f*ck in the other direction. I am in no mood for you people, and if anyone tries to ask me anymore questions I will roundhouse you in the face. With that Park did a short flip, and landed next to Talon, Hello Mr. Bane you said we have new family members to meet- Park again was cut off as a dragon landed on Dune, which Park almost found funny. Mmm... is he one of the new members. Good lord if he tries that I will kill him. Were did that girl walk off to, what was her name Piper, maybe I should go find her I do owe her some thanks. Though ussually quite focues Park's mind wandered as she looked for Piper totally forgetting about Talon, and the new guild members. SunKistRebelution
Le'Crux awoke to Locksley having a bit of a conniption fit about some feeling he got. Turns out, the little bugger (pun intended) was right. Before they were fully aware of what was happening, the islander and his critters were on good ole solid ground outside the mansion. Wouldn't you know it, they also happened to be surrounded by reporters. Figuring Talon would show up sometime soon, the big man shrunk his bugs down to unnoticeable size and placed them in his hair for safe keeping. The Consumer Weta and his Medic Ant friends hated every second of it. They also did not hesitate to share this information with their liege-lord. The paparazzi were something Le'Crux had mixed feelings about due to his size. His immense bulk proved both a blessing and a curse in such situations, being that he could easily shove through the annoying crowd of human gnats (Gnats are the only type of bug Le'Crux dislikes. They are too mindless to control or understand. Also they just never stop bothering people and things.). However, he was a lot of potential target for a camera and provided great material for a "Whoa, look at that guy" moment from readers with low attention spans. He worriedly shuffled past Talon the apparent insectivore (only on the inside, on the outside he was confidently wearing his usual smirk) only to notice the new recruits. He saw one young man standing a little off from the others and looking distant. He decided to go up to him to try to make him feel comfortable, as etiquette dictated. Did the islander mention that he hated etiquette? It's composed of stupid and largely impractical rules for the purpose of saying you can follow rules. Total phooey. Hey there, fella, the name's Le'Crux. Yours? It was all he could do to just stand and wait for the young man's reply, which seemed to take an unreasonably long time, Rai, responded the young man simply. Understanding a slight sense of discomfort, the islander continued Big talker, eh? Well I'm kind of one of the guild's original members other than the Bane family. You new? Again, there was a long pause between the end of the question and the boy's reply, No. I am new, before looking off into space. That was it, Le'Crux got frustrated and blatantly questioned him, Too good to talk to me? What's your problem, kid?! The young man looked taken aback before regaining his composure and assuming a stern facial expression, mostly evident in his brow, I don't like talking. Back off. This answer was most certainly not like anything the big man had expected to come from such a young boy with such small stature compared to his own. He needed to regain his edge in this relationship, and fast, so the giant-man mage changed tones and said, Want a tour? To this, the young man agreed. Not too much information was given on the tour of the mansion, until Le'Crux managed to reveal in conversation the fact that he enjoyed wrestling. It seemed that the two had a common interest in martial arts contests. Suddenly, the young man opened up, not just verbally, but evidently in his body language and the look in his eyes. They ended up wrestling each other, which went on for quite some time....
Love of Ghibli
Talon immediately saw Luna retreat into her own room...depressing he thought initially but that didn't matter because plans were already underway for her and with all of her latent potential there will be fun later. He looked back at his ever growing family and was somewhat elated it seemed as if everything was going rather smoothly. He noticed the little dragon boy who was clearly young of age and he could immediately tell that the youngster knew lost magic and that itself was worth keeping. Seeing as the boy arrived late to the party he wasn't fully apart of guild like everyone else in the room, which was quickly rectified by bestowing the mark on him without even being noted. Well the metal bender has bonded with him so I won't worry about that. He then turned his attention to Le'Crux and Rai who decided to engage in combat. Aww boys will be boys he thought. That is when he remembered something about the portly one. He waved his hand like out of minority report and scrolled through all of the pictures Simon sent him and he saw the giant bug that was chummy with the big man. Talon had then put two and two together. Oh a bug user you say? For a split second those bugs hiding in the big man's hair would feel the hunger of a predator waiting to strike. I do miss my old diet, what wonderful guild I have at my disposal. Then came Park who was always so pleasing to hear. From her tantrum's to the media to her flattery. Oh my child, to think it has been so long since I have heard those sweet words come out your mouth, the little one shall be staying with us. For all are welcome here. As for the young maiden she would be up the stairs and to your left in one of the guest rooms I imagine. As the young lady ventured off it reminded him of the annoyance that was no doubt to come now that Piper has returned. Ugh mortals he said to himself as he put away his massive blade of doom.
TotalObelisk
Galaxi was waiting on the stairs when the group arrived home from their first mission, she could hear the paparazzi crowd even from inside with all the other newbies. She had been extremely annoyed when she'd arrived to find that the first mission was already underway and that they had in fact gone without her but she had managed to calm down since. "Man...I heard they were even saving a princess from a dragon," her twisted sense of reality had caused her to warp the actual events into something that more resembled her own outlook "Damnit, I'd have loved to fight a dragon!" The group finally entered in various states of glee or annoyance. Galaxi got to her feet with every intent to greet them, giving a puzzled look as Luna stormed off before anyone had a chance to talk to her. "I wonder what's eating her up," she muttered to herself. She shrugged this off however, if someone wanted to be a sulky-pants that was their own business. She returned her attention back to the room at large as the guild master pulled out the largest sword she had ever seen, her face mimicking that of a child at christmas. "That is so cool!" She said aloud "Hey, can I try it? Can I, can I?!" Unfortunately the sword was put away before she recieved an answer causing Galaxi to pout slightly. It was then that she noticed the tiny dragon just behind the guild master and he face lit up again. "Oh awesome, a dragon!" She cried, before realizing that it was a kid in a costume "Oh...Nevermind, still awesome." She walked up to the dragon kid, assuming he must be another new recruit. "Hey there," she said enthusiastically "You a newbie here too? Name's Galaxi, nice to meet you."
Love of Ghibli
Henry was a natural to the paparazzi it was like breathing to him. His natural charm came through with all questions asked and he smiled the entire time. He enjoyed his new found celebrity status and he was more happy that his family would be able to see this from his homeland. It was then that he bore witness to the arrival of his guildmaster and like that there were no photos. Henry was happy that he and his friends made it on their first successful mission and had gotten paid for it. The giant bust sword was certainly alarming but Henry assumed this kind of behavior would become second nature to him eventually. As it was time to break bread with the newest noobs Henry was awestruck that there were so many new people wanted to join the guild and this was partly due to his efforts. Of course when it was time to start conversing Henry was surrounded by mages who wanted to ask him more things about the mission and his magic. Seeing as these were his new family members he wouldn't mind telling his new family members about himself. This was Henry's ideal situation eating drinking and breaking bread with people who want to better each other. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As Galaxi would find herself talking to the little boy in the cuddly dinosaur suit she would be sorely interrupted by Michael who, in a mad sprint football kicked the child into the ceiling. He then raised his arms triumphantly and appropriately yelled out GOOOAAALLL!. Hahahaha. Oh that was priceless. Michael was once again quickly blasted by his brother Simon to some unknown part of the mansion. Seriously sometimes I don’t understand how we are related by blood. Simon looked up at the young lad and he could tell the kid would be okay though Simon wasn’t as perceptive as his father he could easily tell that something was interesting about this young fellow. Simon made his way around the room and he was trying to do damage control on the actions of his brother. Pity that has to be one of his responsibilities; nevertheless someone has to do it. While the little dragon fixed himself Simon observed the young Galaxi and smiled. Being such a spunky female would balance out the somewhat…not as happy females that this guild has retained. He had a somber moment for a second as thinking about all of these young ladies reminded him of his sister. That is another story for another time. Hello there he said as politely as he could to young Galaxi. I don’t think we’ve been properly introduced. I’m Simon Bane one of the three brothers that take resident in this household and who might you be my fare lady? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Being the daughter of a politician Piper was no stranger to the spotlight. So she was able to efficiently ninja her way around the media onslaught though she felt stupid for letting herself get caught by Simon’s trap. Using her image to promote the guild it was almost insulting to think she was a pawn. As she naturally made her way inside behind the guild master she realized that it must have been the Bane brothers who made it so that no other guild could come and rescue her. These certainly were a clever bunch. She grabbed her head for a quick second as Kazuya and Luna’s memories were still rattling off in her head. What an unfortunate luck of the draw when choosing targets for her Social Link magic. Piper had probably landed on the worst combination of people. She didn’t stay long enough to watch everyone socialize much like Luna she was just wanted to be by herself. Unfortunately her reasons were completely different from Luna’s. She knew like the guild master it would only be a matter of time till her family came and got her and her family never does anything simple. There must always be a spectacle. Minutes later after burying her head in a pillow she heard a knock on the door and as she went to answer it she found out that it was Park wanting to thank her. Oh you’re thanking me? She said with confusion, this would be a similar confusion to the time she was thanked by Luna in the bath. Well uh…you’re welcome though I’ll be honest I just wanted to deliver some hurt to that bat b**ch before I fully escaped and it’s not like you two didn’t help. Though that was half truth sure Park and Luna were there but Arga was actually one of the higher A rank mercenary mages. She’s taken out full armies by herself. If Piper hadn’t shown up the two girls would’ve had a much more painful fight on their hands. You guys got a nice place here it seems almost magical. Piper is completely oblivious to the fact that this place is magical. She let out a sigh of regret. I wish I could come visit someday she muttered in a slightly mournful tone. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` While everyone was socializing, being on there own, and for some reason engaging in combat, the skies outside the mansion grew dark. And not like dark as in night but dark as in something is blocking out the sun. It was only a matter of time that this would happen though. Good to get this done with sooner than later Talon was thinking in the back of his head. To do so while the media was still outside just seemed to lack manners. Outside of the mansion where the paparazzi were being nosy trying to figure how to get any footage through the windows they would eventually look up to see a fleet of drop ships representing the Magic Council. All eyes were on those ships as pictures were taken and the cameras were rolling once again. From inside the mansion everyone would just hear the press getting loud again. Seconds later the doors of the mansion would fly open in a theatrical over the top way clearly meant to gather everyone’s attention. Immediately Simon and Chris just stopped whatever they were doing and glared at the entrance, while Michael was pulling his head out of the wall almost synchronized with his brothers in disgust. Only one person pulls this kind of stunt…Telandis one of the commanders and highest ranking officials in the Magic Council. Telandis is one of those proud to be a douchebag types because life has never adequately punished him for being a douchebag…or this is how Chris would describe him. Telandis’ one goal is to become one of the ten wizard saints so he does tire effortlessly at the task but his personality just rubs some people the wrong way. Telandis was accompanied by a full battalion of soldiers as if he was expecting combat and if one looked in the sky from the mansion doors clearly he brought warships. He walked up to the guild master himself as if all of the new mages of the guild were nothing more than hanging pieces of meat that should just be moved to the side. Well now isn’t this a surprise your guild actually did something. He said in a most condescending manner. Talon didn’t even flinch though the same could not be said for his sons whose eyes were widening at the utterance of these words. Congratulations old man, but I’m sure you know why we’re here. Return the girl he commanded Talon. The simple act of commanding a guild master in his own home was more than enough to set the three Bane brothers off, but to insult their father well. People have died, suffered, and have been put through much worse for far less. If you return her within five seconds, I won’t have your entire family and the mages you led on this stunt imprisoned. It was a legitimate mission though Talon spoke as he towered over this mortal who was so bold enough to use foul language. You know that’s a lie! We went from guild to guild trying to retract that posting immediately but for some reason all the guilds didn’t know what we were talking about. Of course now it makes sense you had your super sons go in to all of the other guilds and take the posting so no one would notice. I should have you imprisoned just for multiple counts of breaking and entering. Second from what I understand that was supposed to be a stealthy rescue and your guild here were pretty much terrorist as they destroyed major infrastructure and machines. Telandis calmed down for a second as the cameras were eating everything up like delicious cake. Hmph you know my real regret is that it wasn’t a real guild like Sabertooth or Lamina Scale that did the work he said jokingly. Telandis was so confident in his situation and position that he attempted to slap Talon’s arm in joking sense knowing that Talon couldn’t very well hit him back. As his hand grew ever closer to Talon’s arm by the time it was a centimeter away he stopped as he looked down the floor had turned into the emptiness of space and while people were confused the original five knew what this meant. Then the air itself in the room started to go black almost as if it was an odd black grainy mist had just permeated the mansion. Finally Telandis’ earpiece went off as one of the people in the Magic Council’s warships was reporting that the every ship was being surrounded by white magical arrays. The soldiers had all taken a defensive stance and seeing as they didn't know which mage was doing what they just looked at the entire guild as enemies. The Bane brothers would just be seen in their respective corners of the room ready to go to war with the land Fiore. WAAAAIIIITTTT spoke a rational female voice trying to cut through the tension that was suffocating. She made her way down to Telandis with her head sulked in shame and slight disgust. I’m ready to go she said and with that Telandis scoffed and the series of death threats attacks faded. But when they got to the door Talon had one last thing to say. Come now young Piper, hold your head high you are surrounded by family and are always welcome here. Piper’s last sight would be the happy guild mates (well mostly happy) guild mates that would be glad to support her and what she didn't know was that she was already marked with the symbol of Chimera Soul. ANBU
Kazuya had stayed within the room he had been in for the majority of the flight, only leaving to find a shower, cleaning himself up about an hour before they arrived. After showering he wandered the ship for a short amount of time before they had arrived, being beamed down to the front of the mansion rather than where they left from, thinking little of it until he noticed the paparazzi that had assembled. As they questioned the guild members he answered quietly, "troublesome, once we found our way through not too long, Judgement, perhaps they were, make sent soldiers ineffective" leaving no answer to their final question as he turned away before noticing Talon come outside wearing what appeared to be a skull from some animal. As they walked inside Kazuya held himself together, composed in a manner that would show nothing of the darkness he held, noticing the new guild recruits before Talon had mentioned them. Kazuya took his envelop with his split of the reward money quietly, moving himself slightly as the guild master pulled out the massive blade, telling them it was a knife meant for food preparation to the best of his knowledge, "there are creatures large enough for that to just be a kitchen knife for?" he then though to himself quietly before the guild master told them to meet the new recruits. noticing a small dragon looking figure fall into Dune, shortly after realizing it was a suit with what looked to be a young boy inside, watching without moving too far, not making much motion to socialize with the others at the moment still unsure whether he had completely composed himself. Kazuya then noticed another female approaching the small boy, seeming less like the two he had already met in that she didn't seem to be insulting anyone straight away rather the opposite, seeming friendly, her interaction with the other new recruit cut short by Michael booting him into the roof, Simon then using some magic to blast Michael away from the room. As Kazuya had almost began to walk towards the new recruits he would notice the sky darkening, turning to watch as he noticed what looked to be warships. The doors opening as as man walked into the building, his blue robe the only part of his clothing Kazuya had seen the clothing seeming symmetrical. the man was followed in by a battalion of soldiers something that put Kazuya on guard as he had then moved himself backwards, closer to the doorway as the men walked inside leaving Kazuya in a position where he could almost flank them if necessary. The man then proceeded to insult the guild, it's master and threaten to imprison them. shortly after he finished talking the floor below him turned into empty space, something Kazuya remembered from the fight with Michael, black grainy mist seeming to form in the mansion before a light seemed to be coming from outside, Simon's white Magical energy surrounding the warships. As this Happened Kazuya began to write a rule to allow no-one holding a weapon to move, believing a battle about to begin. As he was halfway through his rule he heard Piper yelling for them to wait, as she agreed to go Kazuya's own magic disappeared shortly after the other magics from the Bane Family, having only been a single letter from finishing his law. As Piper left Kazuya began to move back towards the center of the group of people inside the room, staying back from Henry in case the boy still was incapable of seeing Kazuya with anything but the disgust he held at what Kazuya had done during their mission. TotalObelisk
Before Galaxi's conversation with the baby dragon cosplayer could continue he was suddenly catapulted up to the cieling by another mage, Galaxi followed the dragon kid's progress with a somewhat bemused expression. "Whoa, cool," she muttered to herself. As the mage responsible was loudly celebrating succesfully punting a little kid into the cieling he was unceramoniously blasted aside by another mage, his head ending up in the wall and causing Galaxi to chuckle out loud. "Oh, oh, my turn, my turn!" She said enthusiastically, raising her hand in the air in a 'pick me' sort of pose. Thankfully the mage turned to greet her before she could attempt to blast him across the room, introducing himself as Simon Bane. Galaxi recognized the name, her face lighting up with enthusiasm and forgetting the game of magic tag she'd apparently assumed had started. "You're one of the Bane Brothers? Awesome!" She said "I'm Galaxi, or 'Thousand Star' as people like to call me for whatever reason, but hey nicknames are cool. But yeah, nice to meet you old dude!" As their conversation continued she heard the main doors open rather dramatically and turned about to see a member of the magic council stroll in with an army of soldiers at his back, looking past them she spotted the warships in the sky and the paparazzi crowd outside going crazy and getting as many pictures as they could. Galaxi's grip fastened around the weapon hanging from the back of her belt, she was more than ready to smack some sense into these guys until she spotted Simon's expression out of the corner of her eye, she wasn't sure what it was about it but suddenly the friendly and polite man seemed uncharacteriscally threatening. **** Still lying on her bed in her room Luna didn't look up until the room became slightly darker when before there had been a decent amount of sunlight coming in even through the closed curtains. Luna quickly slid out of bed and peeked through the curtains, spotting the warships hovering above the mansion. "The f*ck!?" She cried in surprise. Luna kicked her luggage chest open and grabbed her stave, vaulted over her bed and out of the door. She didn't stop until she reached the entrance hall to find Telandis and a whole army of soldiers apparently threatening to arrest Talon and the others who had gone on the mission to rescue Piper, accusing them of terrorism along the way. Luna almost screamed in frustration but managed to stay silent, though she gripped her stave with both hands and glared at the council member. It didn't seem like she had to do anything however as the floor was suddenly warped into the same space-like texture she'd seen when fighting Michael, on top of that a black fog seemed to settle over the room which Luna didn't recognize. Luna spotted the soldiers growing cautious and rasied her own stave, her eyes turning black as she preparing for the inevitable combat. A sudden call from upstairs broke the tension in the air and the spells lifted. Luna looked up to see Piper at the top of the stairs. "They went through all this just to pick her up?" Luna muttered aloud "Who does that!?" She lowered her stave and hung back, it seemed like the situation had resolved itself but she still felt uneasy, if the council were attempting to threaten them after just one mission then she expected they'd try again. **** Galaxi practically breathed a sigh of relief when they finally left, relaxing her grip on her weapon and letting her arm fall to her side, using the other to wipe an imaginary bead of sweat off her brow. "The heck was that all about?" She asked aloud.
a bad post
Park waved good-bye to Piper, after she had said thank you to her not wanting to waste time with idle chit chat. Park wandered around the mansion for a time until she finally reached her room again. Park sat down on the bed in a meditative position, and to the rest of the world she was dead lost in her own thoughts. Had someone intruded on her she wouldn't have even acknowledged them. Park did not even notice when the warships flew over head, or Piper leaving though this was irrelevant since Park had already done what she had wanted to do with the girl. In her state of deep thought Park went over the events of today's mission, reviewing each detail so that she might not make the same mistakes again. First of all there's that stupid riddle, I really should have been able to figure that out had Luna not been there I would have been stuck. I must start thinking more simply instead of viewing everything as one giant puzzle. I think to complexly, and try to impress to many people, the only person I have anything to prove towards is myself. Secondly there's the rapist batsh*t crazy mage. Without Piper's help me and Luna would have died, we need, correction I need to increase my strength, but how to do that is the hard part, I wonder. A for the next hour or so Park would sit contemplating how she could increase her strength, besides the obvious of course, which was fighting her own guildmates.
