However, I think this card seemingly has potential in Standard with Izzet.dek because of Goblin Electromancer and Nixiv Guildmage.
.Rai
Obviously, Demolish is strictly better.
Forgot about that. Yeah, gonna change that Craterize now, seeing how outclassed it is (even in standard). Regardless, Izzet does make this card somewhat more playable. .Rai
I believe there's actually a deck in Modern that does similar. Basically playing tons of land destruction so you can play your Werewolves without fear of them being transformed back. In Standard, you'd have to play it as Red/Blue/Green for copying spells, but it's still valid.

Simping For Hina
Understand that Molten Rain is still not the best while you can run land cards that destroy land. You should use Ghost Quarter. But the best specified land destruction is Zuran Orb
Obviously, we're talking about Standard here
Babe, don't get me wrong, but Modern will always be better than standard. ;D
Flame Dragon
They are making a VERY conscious call to print this over Stone Rain. I mean how would you feel if they go Turn 1: Mana guy Turn 2: Kill your 1 land Turn 3: 4 drop Turn 4: Slime another land You are no looking at a 6 drop coming down next turn with one 2 mana to fight against it. But yea, they've found people enjoy magic most when they can cast their spells and not being able too do so because they can't get mana just isn't fun. Its for the same reason Counterspell now costs 1 more.
