Hey, whats this? A Doctor Who RP? Count me in! I haven't RPed in... a while, to say the least, so I could use this as a chance to get back into it, despite my busy scheduled. I don't know too much about the older seasons, but I know enough to understand whats going on. Well, off to work on an App.

And I'm just asking, what TARDIS roles are left? I see only Pilot. Am I correct?

EDIT: The app's finished, just need to add the RP sample. I'll finish and post it tomorrow.

Alias: The Jester

Name:

Age: 142

Gender: Male

Regenerations: 2[sup]nd[/sup] regeneration/ Died once

Appearance: The Jester stands at an oddly tall six feet, and has a slender build that further emphasizes his height. He’s rather flimsy and weak, but has reserves of strength he doesn't use. While not underweight, he is significantly lighter than most time lords. He was described a few times as having an “oddly feminine shape,” despite resembling a 25-year old earth man. Because of his weight and shape, he’s fairly agile and light on his feet. He has long, skinny fingers at the end of his lengthy arms.

He wears a perpetual goofy smile on his face, advertising his similarly goofy attitude. He’s been described as appearing constantly hyped up on sugar due to his overly happy exterior. He usually stands up tall and proud, in a goofy stance with his arms posed behind with his elbows out as though cracking his back.

He has a more angular face, but manages to keep a nonchalant look on his face. He has light blue-green eyes that light up in the light or when he’s happy. He suffers from mild strabismus; his left eye tends to wander every now and then, a strange condition for a pilot like himself to have. He can manage to focus his eyes with minimal ease, and can also control the wandering of his lazy eye with a little more effort. He wears thin blue transition glasses. He has a mop of unkempt black hair that he doesn't usually style in any specific manner, and it usually comes out “fluffy,” as his friends and family put it. He has contrastingly thin eyebrows. He has a short, rounded nose, also contrasting with his angular features and pointed chin.

He usually wears a short, pale brown trench coat over a faux-suede vest with three gold buttons. The trench coat shares the same colored buttons. He dropped the belt of the trench coat into a volcano when he first got it for his 100[sup]th[/sup] birthday because he didn't think he needed it. The coat, while short, is still slightly baggy on him. Underneath the vest, he wears a bleached-white dress shirt and a black bow tie, but sometimes swaps them out with different color-schemed outfits. He usually wears dark-colored dress pants held up a little too high with a black leather belt that’s a little too tight around him. Despite his otherwise classy apparel, he wears black sneakers. He dresses “classy” because he feels it makes him look more sophisticated and smart, and he likes the uptight feel it gives off.

Personality: In short, the Jester is a goofy, bubbly kind of person. His main goal in anything is to have a good time doing it. He has a sarcastic attitude, often poking fun or making jokes of everything. Despite this, he takes most situations seriously. He’s always smiling a big sugary smile, and he always maintains a happy attitude to go along with it. Despite the dark times he lives in and his time in the brutal military training regime of the Academy under Draxil’s rules. He can tend to be slight offensive with his jokes, but he always means them as nothing more than a joke. He doesn't usually get very mad, but when he does, it’s because he’s being overly defensive of his friends. Because of the condition of his eyes, he’s often ridiculed as a ditz or klutz, although he’s neither off the two. He can, however, be clumsy at times. He accepts this and pokes fun at his own condition. He’s also a determined person, not letting a goal get away from him once he makes it. He’s also an adventurous spirit, willing to go anywhere for the sake of exploration. He enjoys cartography, and makes maps of different places he journeys to.

History: The Jester was born into an average family, aside from his role as a Timelord. His father worked on TARDISes, trying to develop better methods of travel and flight for them. His mother often helped his father with his work. The Jester never really took interest in TARDISes for a while. Since both of his parents were busy with work, the Jester spent a lot of time by himself, studying. He learned a lot about TARDISes and space-time travel, and became interested in it only month before his enrollment in the academy. His father took him to work one day to see a TARDIS in action, and the Jester learned basic flight controls at an early age, displaying talent for flying the TARDISes.

When he was enrolled in the academy at eight, like most Timelords, he came face to face with the Untempered Schism. He felt rather prepared for it after his studying and slight experience with a TARDIS. When he approached the Schism to stare into it, his confidence fell, and he panicked. When he began to stare into the Schism, most onlookers would think he was going mad. He struggled against it, and held onto his sanity. He felt madness, curiosity, inspiration, and many other mangled feelings. When he was finally done, his eyes had been messed up and he developed slight strabismus, something that would affect his goals of becoming a TARDIS pilot.

His odd reaction and the aftereffects of his initiation spread fast, and he was mocked for his new condition. But his reaction also filled him with something else: hilarity. He was overjoyed that he even survived and kept his sanity, and strived to spread his joy. He became an outward and overall fun person, but his condition didn't help his popularity.
He aimed to overcome his new disability, and studied and practiced even harder than before in hope of reaching his goal.

Time went by in the academy, and the Jester became a high-grade student. He practiced his TARDIS flying skills regularly, using a poorly-designed custom TARDIS his father made for him. It had two functions: time travel and flight. Other than that, it was just a big orange box that was bigger on the inside. On one of his adventures, he had an unfortunate run-in with arms dealers in 5545. He knew too much about their organization, and they had to kill him. He was left to die, but they dealers didn't know they were dealing with a Timelord. He regenerated and escaped, not wanted to have them come after him again. His custom TARDIS was severely damaged and was beyond repair after that venture.

After his regeneration, he still had strabismus, to his dismay. Though smaller in magnitude, it was still there. He trained himself to control it, however.

Draxil’s coming was not a fun time. The Jester, being someone who strove for intelligence, didn't like the military regime one bit. He considered rebelling, but chose against for his own safety. When he heard of a few Timelord trying to pilot a TARDIS through the Schism and go rouge, he was ecstatic. He knew that they would need a pilot. He contacted the one known as the Wandering, who seemed to be leading the group. He was accepted, and promptly began preparing for the departure.

When gathering material for his departure, he found a device his father had developed. He recognized it as dangerous technology, but took it anyway.

Personal Item: Quantum-Manipulation Device: A dangerous wrist-worn device that mimics the ability of the Weeping Angels. Upon activation of the device, the wearer gains Angel-like abilities. Most importantly, it allows the wearer to Quantum Lock. It turns the wearer to stone, but they remain sentient and conscious. While stone, they are resistant to most harm. The user remains stone as long as they please, and can transform back a will, even if being observed. Once activated, the user can Quantum Lock at will, changing from stone to flesh in an instant. There is also a Weeping Angel setting, which will instantly Lock the user if they are being observed. The user can still Lock and Unlock at will, even if the Angel Setting is on.

The Quantum-Manipulation Device also has a number of attachments, such as a scanner and an MP3 player. Other useful things are inside as well.

The “Angel Watch,” as the Jester calls it, uses a tremendous amount of power to use, and, like a Weeping Angel, feeds of Time Energy and uses it as its prime power source. It must be recharged by being plugged into the TARDIS itself.

The Angel Watch highly resembles a Vortex Manipulator, and has been mistaken as one.

Role aboard the TARDIS: Pilot. His console contains seemingly random controls, levers, switches, knobs, buttons, and other things of the sort thrown around the place. He claims that they all have deep meaning and purpose, and took the time and care of naming each control. The console also contains a screen that monitors the outside of the TARDIS, and dial that shows the date the TARDIS is currently stationed in.
The Jester crept through the halls of the Academy slowly and carefully. It was time. He felt his two hearts beating in unison. He tightened his bow tie a bit and checked the buttons on his vest. If he was going renegade, he was going to look good doing it.

He reached a turn in the halls, and he stopped and peered around it, slowly. He saw no guards coming, but he could hear faint footsteps not too far away. He knew the north exit was close; he'd made this same trip many times, practicing his escape route. Now he needed to do it perfectly, with precision stealth.

He turned the corner and crept down the hallway. There were a few turns left. After waiting out at some corridors and rushing through others, he came to the north exit. His hearts were pounding faster than they ever had before. His two eyes looked in opposite directions, scanning the field for guards. There was a mile between the exit and the TARDIS. There was a lot of field between the Renegade's TARDIS, so not too much security was placed between them.

Going a bit further, he stopped when he heard heavy footsteps. One guard, possibly making one final check before he called it a night. There was supposed to be a break and swapping of guards around this time. The Jester must have moved a little too fast and got here before the switch.

"Drat," he said to himself. "Everything was going perfectly, too." His accent would've been described a an earth person as mix between Scottish and Irish. He liked his accent, and so did a lot of other people. It was different from his father's, who had an English accent. His mother had the same accent as the Jester.

He thought about what he could do. He looked down at the device on his wrist. "High time a test you out," he said to it. He pushed a few buttons, and the device began to glow. The guard was approaching... He was cutting it extremely close.

He felt the cold overcome his body.

The guard reached him and prodded him with his gun. "Whas dis?" he said in a grumpy, deep tone. "A statue?" The guard walked around him and checked it over. "Extreme'y odd one," he grumbled. He snickered. "Well, if a studen' lef' it out 'ere, then I guess I've got to confiscate it." He pushed it and tried to move it. "I'll need sum backup." He turned and went to go get some other guards to help him move it.

When he was back inside, the statue that was the Jester turned back to flesh. "Absolutely brilliant!" he exclaimed. "Just like a Weeping Angel. Oh, you are a beautiful thing!" He put the watch to his face and kissed it. It shocked him a bit.

"Ouch!" he said, rearing back a bit. "Feisty. I like that!" He turned around and began racing in the general direction of the Renegade's TARDIS, trying to get there before the guards got back.

After about four minuets of running, he reached the orange box. "Still haven't fixed the Chameleon Circuit, have they? That's shame." He clicked his tongue. He walked up and pushed the doors open.

"My oh my, you sexy, sexy thing!" he cried out, looking over the TARDIS. "Not talking to you lads," he said, motioning to the two other Timelords already inside, the Wandering and the Prophet. "Though, by the Gallifreyan, I think you two men would be considered rather attractive." He chuckled and raced over to his console, the "cockpit," as he called it. "Ello, you beautiful bunch," he said to the dials, buttons, and levers on his console.

"Let's fly you through an Untempered Schism," he said, cracking his knuckles.

Woohoo! Hooray for app! Now we have enough people to start, correct?

I luv eet!!! XD Great app. Well, everyone is accepted at the moment, as we're desperate. Since it's late at the moment, I wont be starting the RP yet. Either overlord can start it over the night, or I'll (hopefully) start it tomorrow.
Thank you. =3 I spent a lot of time on it. I'd say tomorrow sounds good for a start. Messed up time zones may be a problem, though; I live in America, and from what I gather you're all in Britain/England. You're six hours ahead of me. This might be a problem.

I wish I could, but I'm only Co-host. I don't have the authority to start the RP, since you need to have full control over it's formatting. I'll send a opening post for you to submit via PM later, if that would do.
Really? There's some sort of rule for that?
Considering you're not the typical co-host, you're more like another host, I thought it was okay.
If you want to send me a sample post, I could post that.
