Great Unclean One: VK
https://twitter.com/Battlefield/status/251735220292820993 That's it guys, when the "new and improved" multiplayer Mirror's Edge 2 comes out, it'll only have female characters. The bad guys will be guys. When BF4 comes out, campaign will be a bunch of female soldiers fighting against the tyranny of male society. Worst part is, people will still buy it and suck EA's cock. I swear, EA is to videogames as BET is to TV. ITT we discuss EA's history of terror.
Tentacruel
People donated money to that bullsh**? EA are nazi's anyway, so I don't really care who they support. Nothing new, just people using the word feminism to pretend to support equality, and other people falling for it.
Not-so-Radiant Arin
I honestly don't get what the point of that video was? Was it supposed to be bad? Good? Informative? Satirical? I really don't know because most of this I already know. And people that are raising money for this are obviously idiotic and don't know what a dictionary is. We all know about the obvious tropes portrayed in games/anime/anything, really. I mean, look at Yugioh. We've all seen the women in that show: they just end up being eye candy. The same can be said for gaming, practically, with few minor exceptions of course. In many of your games, the women usually take on the role of healer/magic-caster, having less HP than the men and more MP most of the time. We already know that. In many of your games, the women usually end up joining the MC either for the sole purpose of being physically attracted to him (i.e. Record of Agarest War Zero, which is a terrible example but it is still an example), or that they share a common goal. The latter is more universal. But we already know this happens quite often. I skimmed through some of the comments on the Twitter page, and the amount of outrage on this topic is enough to make me cry. tl;dr: People are stupid. Darth Revan of the Sith
I stopped buying games from EA. I truly believe that Dante's Inferno was the last GOOD game they ever made.
.Spock
EA are generally rubbish. They suck the life out of games which were once original and repeat it with all the same features but better graphics. Fifa 13, anyone? Not to mention they revoked all my games off Origin and wouldn't let me play any of them, and then kept charging me for my SWTOR subscription. Dr. Cakey
Record of Agarest War Zero
That example of a game I've totally heard of before is an excellent example and I understand exactly what you mean Anita Sarkeesian will likely set feminism back even further than Metroid Other M. Actually, with all the things setting feminism back, I'm pretty sure it's gone so far back it has yet to start. EDIT: Can we stop calling Sarkeesian and the creepy tumblr girls feminists? They really aren't.
Agro
EA isn't as bad as they used to be.

In the general scope of the general topic at hand, it's an excellent example, but since it was not made by EA, it was a bad example to use in THAT perspective.
