Even if it isn't a requirement, I say being able to give proper advice to others on card making is something a mod should have. It's a bit immature to ask such a thing' date=' also, Dan and myself never requested Mod status, YCM just saw the potential in us, that and we were active and positively contibuting to the site (this all occoured on the old YCM site). Moderation is more about your reputation around the site than our ability to make cards, If your well known, mature, and half literate you could be a mod really. But in the end its the existing fourm moderation teams call. Poc, even though having made barely 100 posts, could quite easily be a Mod thanks to that positive attitude. I wanted to know why he would say that the reason one shouldn't be a mod is so simple, "A person who says he wants to be a mod, can't be one", and that the person would not be considered for the position. Second: For those of you that are asking whether you have the potential to be a moderator, but "Do not want to be one," STOP ASKING.
