Reduce all damage to a player's Life Points by 1000. During either player's Draw Phase, after they draw, if they have less total cards in their hand and on their field than their opponent, they draw 2 cards as part of their draw phase and cannot deal damage to their opponent's Life Points until their next Standby Phase. This card is unaffected by card effects of the player with the most cards in their hand and on their field combined.| Rulings: If the card is destroyed, still cannot deal damage. Same isn't the same as 'less'. Draws are considered part of draw phase. Not affected by Appropriate/ect. If players have same cards on hand/field combined, no card effects can affect Underdog Arena. Before anything, I wanna know exactly how the first effect works: it means that final damage is [i]shortened to 1000[/i] Life Points or is [i]diminished in 1000[/i] Life Points? I like the ability that makes it immune to the player with the most cards in game. The triple draw seems a bit a standard ability, but I like it too. It goes pretty well so far. The second effect could read "If a player would take more than 1000 damage from battle or an effect, the damage becomes 1000. The third effect is obviously designed so cheap burn is not possible, but this would still be unfair in Final Countdown. Link to comment

The damage is supposed to reduce by 1000 because I don't like how easy-to-swarm monsters usually hit for over half of a boss monster. This makes it so boss monsters really contribute to winning. Burn and OTKs in general were designed to be slowed. Link to comment
