Yes, you're making it so that the +1 comes by player interaction, but you've taken that "player interaction" and basically decided, "but wait, we're going to make it so that the main way for you to counter can't be used. The card is basically a slap in the face to cards that use battle as a way to be balanced. I'd say take off that "Trap cards cannot be activated" effect. Katana just avoids the problem entirely and says "no need to fight through an opponent's defenses". Doesn't help that it's extremely generic. Actually, that to both of them. In other words, both cards seem to hint at the idea of player interaction just before laughing at the thought. Link to comment
